I live in Tigard and there is a lot of walking trails near my house. Does enough people live in S.W. who would want to meet in the am to do a gaian cosplay walk?
A cosplay walk is when people would get dressed up as their gaia character and walk the trails around the neighborhood. I figured I could start small with the area I know and then as people were interested we could find other locations to meet and do walks.
Would anyone be interested enough to commit to that? Please answer honestly.

That sounds fun. I'd be embarrassed if there weren't at least 4 people, though. And I'm not entirely certain I can pull off my avatars costume. Making/finding one aside, I look bad with light hair. The concept is cool though.
I'm not sure I could pull off getting to Tigard as I have no car, but other than the above issues, I'd be totally for it.

well the trails are right near the Tigard Transit Center so you could always take the wes or a bus.
If there is you and me, is there any others?

I can manage it then. No more takers though? It sounds fun. I know this guild is slow to the point of being comatose from what I've read, but seriously, anybody?
Also, as a side thought, maybe it'd be easier for some people to commit if we designate a day of the week and a public place to meet beforehand? That way they can see if it fits their schedule, and they'll know how easy or hard the commute will be.
Plus it'll make people feel safer to meet in a public place first. Safety first, they say.
Just a thought.

well town hall is right next to the police station and the trails are just behind that. It's as public and safe a place as any. Or the skate park (also right in front of the police station and town hall. always lots of people there.
I was going to find out who wanted to go and then try to see if there was a day that worked best for everyone. I am partial to Sunday Afternoon myself. also tuesdays thursdays and fridays I usually seem to have off at the moment.

I thought a walk would be fun because how often does one get to cosplay? honestly? besides I thought it would be a fun way for people who want to get more exercise to get out and walk and have a fun social atmosphere to do it in.

I know my brother would probably be interested, however, I don't think I could pull off dressing as my avatar, and I am fairly busy these days.
