Right so, I don't know if this idea is really dumb or just moderately dumb... so here it goes!
I just started helping out this year, and the people I've gotten a chance to chat with have all been super nice. But I don't know a lot of you, and I'm wondering if other people don't know everyone in the guild either. So I was thinking perhaps we could organize a few 'get togethers' and do fun things at different points before the ball? Like head to towns, maybe do a cosplay together if anyone's interested, play a few of the mini-games... stuff like that. I got this idea when someone from the ball invited me to play pinball with a few other people who attended the ball recently. -nod-
It would help us feel like more of a community, and also relieve some stress from ball planning.

Angel's not very bright...
But what do you guys think?

This is my second year helping with the ball, and I'm loving it!
My favorite part is... well, I just can't choose! I like everything about the ball.  Crush and comment?

lol i'm actually very lazy when it comes to extra things like this sweatdrop I don't really like towns, and when i watch movies, i'm normally doing a million things in my mind to talk.
However I do like to talk to people, which is why getting off topic on meebo really helped me get to know people.
What I like about the ball.....well as a fundrasier coordinator last year, i thought that was pretty cool, and co hosting was a blast. I dunno though, like val, everything seems to have it's pro's and con's to me.

Hm, this is my first year helping and although I'd like to get together for a movie night, net is extremely slow in my area so loading the threatre itself would take ages, so thats a no-go for me <_<
Unless....people would love to join me for a round in Rebirth RO? xD I'm usually online there on that game, and you may meet many others who uses Gaia Online too =] Many friends I met on there I later met in RL lul
Well, msn chat is one place I like to go to other than that. But yea...towns and movies takes forever to load for me=/

Angel, your creativity makes my brain melt. xD
I like movie night a lot, but since there might be various technical problems, perhaps we could just consider opening a thread of some sort, for roleplaying or just hanging out.
Another first year helper, here.
I would say that I might be better at planning the plot, but I'm taking a guess that any ideas I throw out would be nothing compared to what some of you put out. Not to say I won't still try to help, though. ^___^

Since not everyone can get on towns.

That sounds like a good idea because I'm having a hard time jumping in and finding a niche!

I'm totally up for a getting to know each other forum! Sounds like a good time, and if we get to know each other better it SHOULD make it easier to work together.
And I'm another first year helper. Doing my best to pull my weight though!
