Name: Ress Oiseau

Alias'/Nicknames: Bird

Appearance: Ress towers over most at 6'5" with a thick, muscular build. Despite being over 200 years old, he appears to be somewhere in his mid to late twenties, one advantage his species (the La'Luche, which is pronounced Lah-loosh) has over the humans. The La'Luche age very slowly once they hit puberty, their lives lasting close to or more than a century. Ress has piercing ice blue eyes, their color darkening when he's happy and going to a near-white color when he's enraged. The blue eye color is exclusive to one of two royal families that used to reside on his home world, a sad fact as Ress is now one of only two left from Royal blood. His skin color resembles that of a dark tan which is actually the color most La'Luche males are, with chin length black hair that he always has tied back into a ponytail. A thin slash-shaped scar extends from just above his left brow, down over his eye to the top of his cheek, the wound sustained by him when he took back his ship from Deux.

Ress generally wears his Space Police uniform, opting for a nice button down or long-sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans when allowed to luxuriate in it. He wears a star pendant given to him by Deux before their falling out, never taking it off unless he must. The bracelet he wears, which resembles Haruko's, is painted blue halfway down the "charm's" length, a shallow gash stretching across it from various battles fought over his life.

Personality: Ress is generally very reserved, calm and cool, coming off as condescending or arrogant to some because of his very precise nature. Some see him as the wise one to go to with their troubles and others see him as a threat to their status and their male egos. Ress is very charming and a smooth talker, often catching the attention of women, despite his efforts not to. He is very cruel and cold when angered and if he is pushed far enough, he is downright terrifying. He is very warm and open with those he is closest to and any little bit affectionate with only one person.

Guitar/Bass Guitar: Ress holds two guitars, a 2000 Gibson SG and a 1967 Gibson EB-3.

The SG's body and headstock are a deep, shimmering black, the neck the same color just lacking the shimmer. One the left side of the body a painting of a sparrow rests in the empty space. The inlay fret markers are chrome, as are the machine heads and saddles. The inlay beside the neck and bridge pickups resembles and aged clock face with the words "Father Time favors the foolish..." written along the right side of the inlay. The strings of the guitar are a pitch black up at the start near the machine heads and slowly fades to a bright white towards the end of their lengths. The grip of the tremolo arm is black while the arm itself is chrome like the fret markers and machine heads. Inside the head of the volume and tone control knobs are the four symbols for luck (a four leafed clover, the number 7, a horse shoe and a heart). The guitar, named "Father Time" or just "Time", acts as a pulse rifle when activated by turning the pickup selector to a specific tone. An "engine" within the guitar recharges the magazine to full compacity once emptied, allowing for continuous use without the user having to worry about ammunition supplies.

His EB-3 (which is currently in the possession of Deux) is a dark indigo that slowly fades to a golden purple at the top (the top being the headstock) with a faint hexagonal pattern over it, the design of the guitar made to resemble the Plasma Rifle from the Halo Series. Around the slope of the body, a dark gray metal inlay covered in designs flows around the perimeter of the guitar. The body has no inlay behind or beside the strings/bridges, featuring a design like the one on the Type-25 DE Rifle seen in Halo 3, the design glowing a bright aqua or apatite color when not in use and changing from a blue, to green, to yellow and then to red as it's fired, indicating the heat buildup. The bridges, frets, fret markers, machine heads and saddles are all a dark gray metal set, the body that holds the bridge pickup being a neary-black color. The tone and volume knobs are all the same nearly-black color, the inlays inside the heads glowing plasma blue as well as the design on the right side where the body inlay would be. On the lower left side of the body this symbol is found in the same glowing blue color as the rest of the details on the guitar. Vents on the side of the headstock of the EB-3 allow for excess plasma and vapors to be expelled should it overhead during use. The guitar itself is made from an ultra-light La'Luche alloy that is nigh indestructible. This guitar, named Forerunner, has the ability to act as a plasma rifle when activated and is only able to be active when in the hands of Ress or anyone who shares the same blood. It is activated by plugging in an energy cartage into the output connector.

Special Accessories: Ress captains a battleship titled Imperfect Soul, having recently retrieved it back from Deunan (Deux) after leaving it with her for 10 years before suddenly disappearing. It has a crew of 25 loyal members that have been by his side since he acquired the ship. Ress also wears a bracelet similar to Haruko's and Deunan's that reacts to the use of N.O., the presence of Atomsk or to Deunan or any who have come into contact with her.

Background History: Ress is one of the last few surviving La'Luche that drift among space after the destruction of their homeworld that was caused by the Pirate King himself. He was the last born of 3 brothers and 4rd born of all 5 siblings, having two older brothers, one older sister and one younger sister. Born into one of two Royal families that resided on the La'Luche homeworld, he lived the high life without letting it go to his head, setting himself up for the next to take the throne when his father passed. His guitar Father Time was a parting gift to him from his father once he hit the age of 17 and was sent to be trained in the military with his two brothers. He quickly rose to become a commander and was shipped out at the age of 50 when war broke out between their world and their neighboring enemy's, the D'Arri. The war lasted close to 100 years and ravaged both worlds, leaving the La'Luche the ultimate victor once their enemy's finally surrendered, fearing the war would lead to the destruction of their species and homeworld. During the signing of the peace treaty between the two, rebels assassinated his father, leading to a horrific fight to break out between the Royal Guard and the rebelling D'Arri, resulting in the deaths of his two older brothers, who both served in the Guard. His oldest brother, who held an odd love for humans and their video games, passed down his guitar Forerunner and ship, the Imperfect Soul, to him.

Soon after the end of the war, the second royal family proposed an arranged marriage between the two families to tie them together, offering their youngest daughter to the last living son of the Oiseau family for the marriage. As the families began to rebuild their world, the threat of the Pirate King soon loomed over them. With the death of their species upon them, the families began evacuating their people only to find that their evacuation came too late. By order of his mother, Ress reluctantly took his would be bride, Deunan Siderea, and left their soon to be destroyed home. Ress and his crew drifted about space until Deunan came upon the news of Atomsk's possible new "hiding place". Fueled by his hate for the King, Ress hastily set a course for our Galaxy and initiated the jump without checking his coordinates, the result nearly deadly when the Soul came out in the asteroid belt that surrounds the inner circle of the solar system. An explosion resulting from taking a hit by an asteroid wounded Deunan, causing her current memory loss that still remains today.

Knowing they were ill equipped to search for the Pirate King, Ress hid the Soul and set up shop in London, dispersing his close knit crew among the city and isle to keep their less-than-human origins a secret and soon becoming a Space Pirate to help keep tabs on the locations and information on his mortal enemy. After Deunan's constant complaints of living various places in London, Ress reluctantly bought a shop where they made and customized guitars and various other instruments of the local would-be bands and music players to provide some manner of money and security. When the locals became suspicious of the fact that the pair hadn't physically aged in the past decade, Ress abandoned the shop and rallied his crew, heading back to the Soul and abandoning his label as a Space Pirate to apply for a position as a member of the Galactic Space Police, hoping to pick up his search for Atomsk again. After 10 years he decided it would be best to keep the woman he now loved away from his rather dangerous profession, hiding his most powerful guitar, the Forerunner, within Deunan before soon leaving, leaving the Soul under her command, knowing she would hate him for it.

10 years later by order of his superiors to capture the infamous Space Pirate Deux, Ress took the Soul back from Deunan after a violent fight for it, leaving his former lover to steal one of the ship's scouting vessels to fly back to earth. Ress let her go with a heavy heart, flying back the Space Police HQ with the ship that supposedly not his, clearing it and its crew to be signed under his name.

For the last several months, however, Ress has been doubting the abilities of the Police, debating on leaving them to become a Pirate once again and to distance himself from the pain of having to constantly send harm to Deunan.

Very good. Though I'm limiting you to one guitar, except in dire situations when you can open up an N.O. portal and pull out a second guitar, much like Naota in the final episode. That's the ONLY time I'll allow it to be used. Besides that, accepted :3.
