I write this thread in the hopes that someone reads or has already read it. But right now I'll tell you a story. When boredom sets anything on the store self looks good, for me I go to my safe heaven. The children section! (All those who love horror books, adult section books, or didn't give a backwards glance at the children section when they left, you may leave now if you wish) Strolling along the shelves I spotted a book that appear out of the ordinary.
Magyk by Angie Sage is just that. A feel good book where you can see the ending, but can't for the life of you figure out how she is going to get there. The character are far from perfect creating problems that go unseen in till later when they come back to bite them on the rear. With wit and humor gracing each page Sage present you with a world far outside your average fairy tale. The good news is that if you like the first book their are more, with a new one coming soon. If you think you've out grown children books and are ready for the big people world you might want to skip this book by, but at least give it a try.

Note I only wrote this because I think her book is worth it. You can carry your own opinion when you've read it. Bye Bye for now.
