Right now, I'm 160 pounds (or, at least, so says my scale), and I'm pretty tall; about 5' 6". I really want to be about 150 pounds before I have to leave for college at the end of August. But, I've been dieting and exersising since June, and I'm still the same weight; always 160 pounds. D;

Is there anything extra that I can do to help? I exercise about every day about 30 minutes, I drink plenty of water, and I eat helthy, so what am I doing rwrong? Do I just need to exercise more?

how hard are you exercising? If you are just walking lightly for half an hour then you might need to up the intensity. But if you're getting your heart rate up when you exercise then it might be something else. You could always up whatever you are doing to 45mins and see if that helps.

When you say you eat healthy, what do you mean? I think a lot of people "eat healthy" but just eat too much of the healthy stuff. You might want to log your calories for a couple of days just to see how much you are taking in if you havent already

Diversify your exercise completely, something really different. Ie: Hike up a mountain, or go kayaking, or use a rowing machine in a gym if you don't already.

maybe that way we can help more.

I try to stay away from junk food as much as possible, like chips and fast food. I eat moderatly, and I don't splurge, and I always watch whatever I eat.

I guess I could try exercising more, to an hour a day.... I do my exercises on tv; we have a program on there that offers all sorts of different exercises to do. Do those help? I don't access to a gym, or anything like that...

if the TV exercises get your heart rate up they should be fine. I'd still count calories for a few days just to see how much you are eating- a lot of people eat healthy but dont realise they are simply eating too much of the healthy stuff or just how many calories are in what they are eating

I'll keep you my dirty little secret...

You might want to try some weight training. Lean muscle burns more calories than fat.

Also, maybe you should do some heavier intensity workouts, and take breaks in between. This gives your body time to recover.

...don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret.
