So I reaaaaaally love bellydancing. I'm a beginner and became instantly passionate about it.
But.
I can't do it. >< I mean I can, but not for too long. It either hurts my intestines, or I've gotta run to the bathroom
sweatdrop I have ulcerative colitis so... I have 'flare ups' of ulcers in my large intestine... When I started dancing it was inbetween a flare-up so I never imagined that my disease would get in the way. My condition isn't getting better either...
crying !!!
What should I do?! Belly dance without using my belly?! T_______T! Undulations are my favorite to do too, but they just flop my intestines around too vigorously... Any suggestions? This is driving me crazy, I really want to dance...
try using ur abs. even tho i dont have ulcerative colitis sometimes if feels like my intestines got a work out when thats not what i was trying to do
sweatdrop when i undulate (which is my favorite too!!!) go as slow as possible and focuse on only using ur muscles. and if all else fails maybe talk to ur docter or even a profecinal belly dancer
