I've been a pretty crappy Captain. I'm never around, and I don't make any polls, or... well... ANYTHING sweatdrop ...
I really thought that after I finished moving here to Tulsa that things would settle down and I would get to spend lots of time with the Guild and host a party and all sorts of cool things... But it seems like things never really settled down. At least not like they used to. Maybe it's being in a bigger city. Maybe it's because Eleanor is older, not sleeping as much, and needs more attention and care than she used to. Maybe it's because I live closer to my family and spend more time with them. Maybe it's because I have a part-time job now (child care - I get to keep Eleanor with me, so it's pretty cool). I'm not sure. All I know is that I never get to do anything with the guild anymore. cry
I really like all of you, and I miss being able to come by, but I guess things don't always work out the way we want. sad
I realised that I've been pretty selfish. The rest of the crew has been doing all the work around here, and I still get to keep the nifty title of Captain. That's not fair at all. What have I ever done to deserve it?
I finally decided to quit being greedy and selfish and let the people doing all the work take all the credit for it. I'm only sorry I didn't do this earlier. I just want you to know that I did notice what you guys were doing, and I appreciate it. You guys are great!
Anyway, to wrap all this up...
Myojin Omni is now the Captain. Officially, instead of just doing all the work. And I've made a suggestion about the Vice-Captain too. I'm pretty sure Omni will agree, but of course that's up to him now.
I promise I'll try to stop by now and then and make a poll or two. You are all still the very coolest people on Gaia. heart
