...and I wish to return. Permanantly. I have to say, America has been ruined by Japan.

surprised I have some theories of my own regarding this, but I'd like to hear from you what made you come to this conclusion.

First reasons to come to mind are things I've used during my trip.

Transportation:Trains were awesome though the get crowded but every takes the train. They actually use water buses(transport boats basically). The bullet trains were awesome and very comfortable. The 'party buses' we used were pretty sweet.

Convience: Price wise on everything is final, if something is marked with a price, that's it. No tax, or tax is already included(resturants mainly). I love how they cram two to four vending machines in a small area. Only two types, beverages(ones in hotels sell alcohol with no ID checks or anything), and cigarettes. And to keep things better for non-smokers they have 'allowed smoking' areas.

Scenary: If it's nature, it's beautiful. Temples and castles are HUGE. Himeji castle is giant, since I slipped on normal sized stairs for some reasons banged the ol' jewels on the railing.
Though the Shrines got really old. And the woman, were beautiful, hot, and any other word that could be used, I had to say that bit in pure honesty.

Ohhhh, I misunderstood your meaning. xd I've always been interested in visiting Japan. I've done a good deal of traveling, but I have yet to go anywhere in Asia. Japan seems as good a place as any.

Reapand: lol, I was always wondering what's the law behind putting prices WITHOUT taxes. It's stupid. At least Europe (and I see Japan too) have come to the right conclusion that everybody should always show prices inclusive of all taxes and not mislead the customers.

To Kacisko: I agree, and usually the tax makes it a little draining of the wallet, atleast more than hoped/expected. Anything in the US, marked prices are lies. Anything in Japan(and Europe apparentally), marked price is the final price. Something to appreciate since the government collects taxes regardless.

To Ash: Go to Japan, it's awesome. Though if you go to Tokyo, and it's hot, it is the humidity from the smog. Anywhere else is actual heat. Serious, Tokyo is more polluted than I thought, streets are clean, but the smog brings the heat and the water is green in some areas and brown in others.

Well, with the immense population density, I'm not surprised. I can't imagine what Beijing is like, though. Besides Japan, I'd also be interested in visiting Singapore and Cambodia (for the ancient Khmer ruins).

True, all to true though I saw fewer people in Tokyo than Kyoto.
And do share your experiances for when you go and return.
