Dark red crimson eyes peered over the area, he had spotted a pack. Scents were everywhere along with sings of many packs. Jacoby had seen many wolves and many packs, some were kind some not so welcome. He looked about and wandered what this pack would be like. His long tail dragged behind his scrawny body with a large frame. He would be such a big and tall wolf if he had eaten better, but his lonesome self barely could eat when he was starving his body. His fur grew dirty and ragged with fewer bathing and grooming. His rank as a lone wolf has taken a great toll on this handsome male. His hair flickered over his eyes when the wind blew and his bone rattled on his chest as he padded closer. Who would he meet today, and what tale would they have for him. His sewn shut lips slightly loosened to give out a slightly stifled yawn. Hopefully he would have no phases today and pass over the line of sanity, he wanted to meet new wolves. He was not afraid of being attacked or harm, he did not care for pain, he rather welcomed death. As he got closer he did not try to hide or slowly enter and wait for permission. He simply just walked in waiting for someone to take notice.

The day had come when even her brother had done something she had not: a family. Ghilt may have been the first born male but she was the one destined to take after her mother if she was deemed strong enough, which she was. Tearh basked in the attention given to her and she never let a day go by without doing something for the pack in entirety. She learned the old stories from Philokiss in the sun and learned fighting technique from Nabu'na and the other guards. Though she was to stay well within the borders she often walked them proud, the mark on her chest worn as a reminder of her bloodline of the old valley sealed away by time and ash.
Logan, Wrigley and Malik were to be on duty while the sun was high, past midday and slowly setting towards the horizon and it surprised her when a foreign scent caught her nose. No, not Arguin or those other fiends that had some score to settle with Derrob or Phaelin, no, this was different.
The ridgeback fur atop her head and abroad her back was bright against her dark coat, her mysterious eyes. To any other she might seem blind, and if this was an intruder, they would know not of her heritage and the mysterious trait that came from her father's blood. No, without pupils, as her brother and father, they-he would see her blind and she would use it to her advtange to test the male.
Passing Nabu'na, his ridgeback wore proud as well she nodded to him, and he crooned low to the other guards around the borders. Tearh also knew of the trouble from that other pack Anokain'thros seemed to have a duality with. No matter, Tearh was not afraid nor would she run away.
At first sight of him she made no noise, merely passed before him, stopped and sniffed the air to give an illusion of blindness, she was cunning. Though the line of fur reminded her of her father's Philokss, Nabu'na and her own. The old valley? No, Philokiss had been the last to see its final days and watched the others slip into fire.
"A stranger here?" she called, turned towards him and sniffed the ground playing her illusion still. "What brings you this way?" his lips, she had seen, but he had to have some way of communicating, wouldn't he?

Jacoby smiled as a beautiful and interesting wolf walked by sniffing and looking around as it was blind. Jacoby's tail quivered, something was not right about her but he did not know what. Maybe it was her pupil-less eyes. Jacoby shoke his head to shake the thought away, he was tired of his feelings and instincts that just wanted to push him over his line.
Jacoby watched her carefully, he said nothing. It was not because he could not but because he rarely spoke out. Sometimes people often mistaken him to be a mute, but little did they know his strings that sewn his lips shut would loosen when he pulled.
He watched her carefully not speaking to her, he would talk when he thought she deserved to be talked to. He knew this wolf was strong and he knew he would not take pity cause she was blind, it was not his way.
Jacoby shrugged and took a few steps closer to her, sniffing her pelt, she smelt of many other wolves. He stepped back and watched her, not moving, not making a sound. Even his breathing was settle and barely audible.
