For regular names I like Alexander and Samantha.
For odd names I like October for a girl and Griffin for a boy.

For a boy i want Sebastian
(Atreyu and Jasper would be nice but i already named book characters with them, but if i have more than one son, then probably one of those two)
I always have trouble naming girls. but For now I'm quite partial to Andy (short for Andrea)

There are so many different beautiful and odd names to choose from, but I like to think that the ones I have chosen are pretty normal.
If I had a girl:
(it would be so easy to choose a name)
Charlie heart
I think Charlie is a beautiful name for a girl, guy-like, but beautiful heart
For boys:
I love so many names that If i were to ever only have one son he'd have one gigantic name!
Alexandros(most greek version of Alexander there is!!!) heart
Phelan heart
Dante heart
Jacob heart
* Note* None of these names are my favorite or were picked because of book characters, tv characters or what have you. biggrin
Edit: For a boy I also absolutely adore Zachariah heart heart heart
