Lurking in the darkness, a stallion was out wandering. He wandered from clearing to clearing looking for something to amuse him. He was restless nowadays since he had nothing else to do. His kids were all gone doing their own thing and his mother could only entertain him for so long. Keiran passed by shallow pools of water from a random rainfall from the previous day. He couldn't help but steal glances at his reflection as he walked past. There were things that never changed about him...

Surprisingly, Keiran had been able to control his blood lust. He had learned to control himself but he still liked indulging himself sometimes... His eyes locked on a rabbit that had already sensed his presence. He decided against chasing after it. That would make him sweat and that was an unappealing thought.

Relaxing his muscles, the kalona's glowing eyes surveyed the area around him.

Closing his eyes momentarily, Keiran's ears were filled with sounds from Mother Earth. Insects were buzzing all around. He didn't like insects. They were insignificant creatures and shouldn't have been seen or heard. The stallion opened his eyes and saw the other soquili in the distance. Squinting slightly, Keiran wondered what it was doing...

A combination of curiosity and boredom brought Keiran to move closer. He needed to find something to do and even if that mean terrorizing some poor innocent. That was fine. Keiran was past morals and caring what happened to others. He wouldn't attack though... Keiran was a fine tuned fighting machine and he knew when and where blood was to be shed. This foreign stallion was safe... for now.

Keiran's body blended in with the shadows and it would have been difficult to see his form. His eyes were the only things visible from the darkness. They followed the other stallion. There was a rather sinister feeling about the floating eyes.

Stopping, Keiran just observed the other stallion. The other stallion was just staring at him and Keiran just stared back. There was no emotion in his glowering eyes but a lot was going through his mind. This soquili was probably too young to understand how much danger he could be in right now. Even though Keiran didn't attack without provocation, he could still be unpredictable.

Then Keiran was reminded about his age and how he wasn't getting any younger... Cringing slightly at the thought of old age, Keiran brushed the idea to the back of his thoughts. Those were for another day. He didn't say anything to the stallion and he just waited. The stallion was patient. He had learned from his mother who would spend hours of the day just standing in the darkness observing those around her. He didn't know how she could spend her life doing that...

Keiran hoped that this stallion would be more exciting then wandering around aimlessly. He was easily bored and he was beginning to get restless.

The stallion narrowed his eyes and Lamb approached. This soquili didn't know anything. But this humored Keiran. This other stallion had no problem getting closer to a possible dangerous encounter. Keiran began noticing the physical features of the other soquili. Nothing... particularly special...

He noticed the other soquili scrutinizing his features and Keiran glared at Lamb slightly. "Yes?" Keiran loved the fact that he looked different and he knew that he was good looking. Actually, Keiran would basically admit to the world that he was the most handsome stallion ever. His confidence could be considered arrogance but Keiran would have never realized it.

He had no problem being a little rude to the other stallion. It was a little rude to just come closer and just stare at his upper appendages. Though, Keiran loved the attention and didn't mind the stares. He just wanted a reason to be rude.

Keiran really did love the attention but he always acted like he didn't. And this soquili didn't even reply to him when he spoke! How rude. Staring at the other stallion blankly, Keiran snarled slightly. "What are you looking at?" Sometimes he forgot that he had antennae. That was something his mother blessed him with and Keiran knew that they made him very different.

"Weird?" Keiran stopped and paused to think about the comment. What the hell. As Lamb took a step back, Keiran burst out into the open baring his sharp teeth. "Say that again?" He felt like ripping this stallion apart but he knew that he wouldn't. Keiran just wanted to scare him a little bit so that he would never feel safe in the dark again.
