Sarah placed her socks neatly in the drawer. Moveing to her grandmothers house wasn't what she expected from her parents at all. After she nearly caused a riot at her old school, she was thinking posebly bording school. But noooo she had to be sent to her grandmothers house in a small town in the middle of nowhere. But she truely couldn't argue with the sun fading into winter, she would probaly have it more simple. Most kids her age love the summer and the sun but she was just a tad diferent. Sarah would spend most of her time in the darkest, smallest place she could find, usualy her basment. Because of her gothic sort of perspective on life, she didn't have any friends at her old school except one trouble maker that got sent of to military school because he nearly murdered a teacher. Her parents hoped she could ' have a fresh start' and 'make friends' but that would sertently not happen anywhere.Sarah was always the outcast of the school. Sarah looked around the room she was going to stay in. Everything was mostly unpacked. Exception of her makeup. The house was old Sarah liked it. Her grandmother was old fashion and had loads of neat stuff in her atic. She turned her head towards the window. Fall had befallen the area quiet nicely. Halloween was tommorow night. Her B-day was just a week after. A knocking came to the old creeky door of her room. Her grandmas head poped through. "How are you dear? All your things unpacked yet?" She said in her old cracky yet sweet and young voice. "Just about done gran." Sarah looked around for anything still in it's box. Her grandmother came in with a tray of apple juice (probalbly from her orchird outside) and oatmeal cookies. "Would you like some?" Sarah nodded and took a cookie. "You know what I think your new school is having a halloween party tonight, how bout you go and meet your new classmates?" Sarah looked shockingly at gran., she never suggested that she should go to any party before let alone one that would take place after dark. "I don't do partys especialy school ones." Sarah said then took a bite of her cookie. Grans face suddenly got very serious "I insist that you go it's very important that you meet your classmates. Some of them you might become friends with." Sarah gave gran a confused look "It starts at dusk and I have a dress I'd like you to wear. It'll look lovly on you I'm sure." "DRESS????!??!?!?!? Gran what in blazes name are you talking about?" "Don't worry everything will be fine as long as you wear the dress the entire time you're there." And with that Gran left the room leaving the tray of juice and cookies behinde.
