So here he was, standing at the entrance to a quite restaurant waiting for his date that he had met on 'LoveMatch.com'. She seemed nice and he had suggested that they see one another and talk face to face. He had left Noah in the hands of his baby sitter for the night, he didn't normally do that but Noah had been cranky all day and William didn't want to have him out if he was getting sick. He stood dressed in his best jeans and polo shirt since this was a casual date, he had picked the 'Uptown Bistro and Bar' for their place to met, they had both been here before and he thought they would both feel more comfortable since they both knew the place.

Sarah had her hair in one long blonde ponytail tied back with a black bow scrunchie. She wore light makeup since the theme of the date was 'casual', and her clothes matched the same theme. She wore a long sleeved white sweater shirt that acted as a dress, falling far to her knees. Underneath she had on black leggings and wore white flats.
Sarah's flats tapped against the pavement as she walked to meet William, to admit she was a little nervous. "Now don't get yourself all scared before you even see him girlie, you both agreed it was a casual setting for a reason." Sarah said to herself. Up ahead the sign for the 'Uptown Bistro and Bar' came into view and she took a deep breathe in and let it out, "Stay Confident." she told herself.
She walked up to the front of the bar and was positive she saw William standing there, he fit the description and picture on the site. Sarah smiled big and waved at him as she walked up, "William, correct?" Wow, what a nice way to greet someone you have already seen the picture of.

"Ah yes.." he smiled at her. Wow she's even prettier then in her photo! William thought. He somehow felt that he should have been dressed better to met such a pretty girl. "Would you like to get a table or stay at the bar?" he asked having to speak up over the noise of the music and people around them. He couldn't get over how pretty she was, tho he did feel a little like an old perv since he was 25 and she was just 19.

[Sorry, I just realized that the color of my chat breaks the IM rule. Heh...]
Sarah found him very handsome, the curves in his face seemed to match together nicely. "I would really like a table if you don't mind, the bar sometimes gets to rowdy for me." That was Sarah's way of diverting her horror stories, she used to be open to bar seats until they became to open to her. Even though she could tell he was a nice guy there can't be a chance that she runs into someone from the past, or someone that might want to make a move; she needed to look from that.

((thats okay i was braking my own rule lol! i so used to posting in blue XD ))
William simply nodded and led her away from the bar to ask for a table. They were seated outside on the patio, where it was cooler, calmer, and much more romantic for a first date. He smiled at her, she had a very cute face and her eyes were stunning. He placed his jacket on the back of his seat and then pulled the chair out for her and helped her to sit. "Please order whatever you like, my treat." he said since they hadn't agreed if they would split it or not. He was old fashioned and would always pay for his date.

Sarah sat down and placed her brown satchel on the back of the chair, then scooted in close to the table. "Thank you! That's very kind." she commented excitedly.
Oh yes, act like a young child at the dinner table. Real Smooth.
Sarah couldn't help but look at his face when he wasn't paying attention, his eyes were so beautiful and his smile so kind and welcoming. Soon, she decided, she decided to look at her menu instead of her date's face. Looking in the menu she found spaghetti that came with a nice salad, a well balanced meal if she said so herself.

He chuckled at her response and looked down at the menu skipping over the alcoholic beverages. He found his favorite dish and decided that he would get that. Soup, salad, and a half of a sandwich, a hot roast beef and cheese was his pick. "So... where do you work at?" he asked casually as they waited for a waitress to come over.

"I work as a fashion designer, most the time I am doing design for free lance, but lately Horum Inc. has requested several designs. But I don't mind when there's a lot to do, in fact I love it. Those days when I have nothing I tend to draw anyways and that's what ends up going in my portfolio." Sarah answered his question. "What about you?" she asked.

"I bet you don't have many days where there's nothing for you to do." he smiled. "I make out blue prints for landscapers... they call me with a certain theme, like a meditation garden with say a koi pond and I made out the basic design and tweak it to the clients wants and needs." William ducked his head a little. "It's nothing as glamors as working in fashion."
The waitress came over to their table and smiled at them. "My name is Brenda, what can I get ya to drink?" "Sweet tea with lemon please." William said handing her back the menu. "Alright... and how about you?" she said turning to Sarah.

Sarah handed the waitress a menu, "A Shirley Temple please." she said with a smile, then returned to their conversation. "Actually I work from home most the time so I have days when I can read and relax, but don't tell them that." she said laughing. "More Glamorous? Don't compare it. What you do is very important, without you the client wouldn't be happy with the product. And those building wouldn't have anything to follow. Same with my clients, so see, we're even." she smiled.

William smiled at her. "I too spend most of my days at home with my son Noah.. I like having the extra time to spend with him." The waitress wasn't gone long before she came back with their drinks and asked what they would like to eat. After she had their orders she went off leaving them alone again. "You arint still in school?" he asked at last, it had been a very long time since he had been on a date.. or out with anyone other then business people. He was quite rusty.

Sarah smiled, "Noah, your eyes sparkle when you talk about him. It's so nice to see such dedication from a father, and by the way you talk about him I can tell he's basically you're life." she said. The school question; shoot;
"Well, that story is a little more complicated. See I wasn't in a bad situation and my parents were very kind, they paid for almost everything I needed education wise. But stuff happened that not even they could have predicted, or myself for that matter. I take online courses now and mainly in what my career is directed towards. For my basic class like math and English I took rush courses, you have to maintain a certain grade point average but I got out faster." Sarah replied.
