She could feel it, an inpending sight that itched at her sense and she smiled with aproval. New life, and of her own lineage and she felt proud, oh so proud. She was eager to see the children, three she was told and now, now she was unsure of how long she would take until she might seek out Phib and Amelie, ask for advice and see if her time was done here, if her time was to be passed onto another within the pride to keep life going and keep herself and others from brooding.
Still the threat from outside of the lands was partially a problem, that female, Karndess, had her supposed midnight visitings with Philokiss but Nabu'na always seemed close to the elder who appeased and listened to the sun. It gave her strength to know that while she led, led, a funny word on her lips, that others would follow readily if not for her leadership as is but from some foretold prophecy of the mark that she, her daughter, and the strange pieces of herself bore. The vagabond as well, who sought shelter here in the nights and felt as if she was serving a greater purpose, but kept herself hidden during the daylight hours.
Amara and Wrigley were still unseparable while Logan and Derrob had their stroles of the borders. Phaelin and Lous seemed to follow Kia and Tearh led them with her ridge bore from her father.
Life was plentiful, though pups gave new life to the lands.
It was strange to see the eyes of her mate carried onto the smallest female, dark but with the blue of some foregone relative that Ohka muttered about while Eevee basked in the shade. Valen watched from the sidelines as Malik seemed distant as ever, Rage attributed it to herself, being vacant from him and finding solace in Daemon.
She would love him for her life.
Days would pass and worry would begin to threaten her peace of mind.
She was alpha in his presence though she never truly felt the part, a piece of him would always peer over her shoulders even if it was a figment of her imagination. Phib would always rule here and when he returned from his absence she would gladly step down from the place she stepped upon to give him his own again.
Though the prey seemed to be getting smarter.
The hunters would constatnly have to chasethe herds back into their spots and watch through the night. The pack was together and hunted regularly, but never took more than needed. But even the herds needed new life and it seemed sparing as of late.
More, or move.
No, never.
Rage could never leave this place she called home and venture without them, her parents of this time before the fall of the place Nabu'na and the others had come, where her mate had come.
She breathed deeply and smiled faintly, stood and walked from her perch above the shore where waves crashed readily. She needed to find Nix, they needed to plan.
Certain things would need to be tended to, sooner, now.
New life brought new beginning, but also ends of past thoughts and ideals.
New life brought new beginnings here and now.
