Story will be decided as we go along. The main just of it is youre a child age 12-16 who has been chosen by a dragon, and it's 6 months into your training after the hatching ceremonies. Or you are an older rider who mentors a young one, also six months after the hatching. Each child needs a mentor and vice versa, so find someone willing to be your teacher or student.

Iliana ran in the shadow of her mighty Dragon, Skystar. The massive black Dragon flew over her and roared when she lost sight of her Chosen. Iliana laughed as she jumped from tree to tree and back to the ground. She looked up at her Skystar and climbed a tree. What? She thought to her Dragon. Can't keep up? She reached the top of the tree and looked around at the sky. She didn't see the black Dragon anywhere. Suddenly she was grabbed in Skystar's talons from behind adn hauled into teh air. Who can't keep up? Skystar thought back. You were going so slow, I looped back behind you! Iliana laughed and climbed onto Skystar's back.

The two of you are so slow, Claes returned to them by thought from several hundred yards ahead, had this been a war you most likely would have been captured. Come forth, I have something to show you. As they reached their mentor, they would find he and Kotare atop a circular stone area, strange grooves and such etched into the surface. Claes' orange-ish hair waved idly in the wind. "Welcome to the Trial Grounds."
The dragon turned his head to gaze over his disciples. Indeed you remember why we chose you? It has been ten thousand years since the last black dragon teacher-student pair was formed. He shifted his gaze over the rock. Within the limits of this stones powerful labrinthine tests lies a challenge so great you will assuredly die if you fail. Do you feel ready?

Iliana looked down at Skystar who growled slightly and nodded her massive black head. Iliana looked back towars their teachersand puncked the air. "Let's do this!" Skystar answered witha lond, loud roar of challenge.
