The longer your answer the better. If you like to write, think of this as an essay prompt. If not, a few sentences will do. One word answers are frowned upon (but if that's all you got, then go for it), I need some better ideas in order to make this work guys!
What do you want to see more of in the guild in terms of content?

What do you want to see more of in the guild in terms of content?
I get the feeling that the guild is mostly populated by people interested in the written word. While that's great, I'd like to see more encouragement for those of us who create real-life horror. I don't really have any interest in written horror, and I've noticed that people go berserk if they don't get feedback on their stories within a couple hours of posting them, while the best responses to some of my posts were along the lines of "hmmm, that's interesting". My interests are: * Prop-making, especially in conjunction with building haunts for Halloween. * Horror art...whether pictures, movies, or music. * Parapsychology, in all its weird and wondrous glory. * Horror events...where are the haunted houses? Where are the festivals?

I agree we are too much of a one trick pony at the moment. I try to encourage different topics but they don't pick up.
Thank you for your input. Also, you do know we're having a horror art contest right now? Why not make some art of your own? At the very least you could submit some of those nice pictures of you and your mates covered in blood.

Alrighty. I added something that I created a while ago to the thread. It's not overly artistic; my skills at digital multimedia aren't the greatest, but hey, it's something. smile

I really havent thought that far yet. I'm trying to work on my own guild and still be somewhat active in this one, which compared t some of the other members I'm doing quite well.
I'd like to see people from other guilds coming here and being active members of the guild, which could be achieved by guild alliances with other horror guilds, which if you'd like I'll compile a list of interesting horror guilds since I'm doing the like with my horror/RP guild.
I'm also hoping we could find a few TRULY bone-chilling stories and post them here. I remember the first night I was ever on the old guild I stayed on it all night because, after reading a couple of those stories I could not go to sleep. I had become a big fan of Creepy Pasta and SCP that night as well and with the inspiration I had from that night I began to write more horror stories. That was one year ago as of this August. Though I can't remember the date. I want others to have that same feeling of terror and fascination that I had when I first stumbled upon the old guild.
a few of the stories that interested me (or made me have nightmares for several weeks, depending on your idea of intriguing) was Deerly Departed, Camera Found in the Woods, and there was a manga that was about these human shaped holes in the cliff-face that people felt compelled to climb into. Those three are the stories that really got me into the Horror genre.......but I'm just a little off topic.
The stuff above is the kind of thing that I would love to find more of in this guild because that's the kind of thing that is absolutely terrifying to me and I would love to find more to put into this guild.
I'd love to see more mind-bending stories as well, I try to make my stories mind-benders but I fail epically. I'd love to find a big reservoir of mind-benders to post here.

Ugh, I can't say anything without stretching the page downward untill it rips apart. But, shortly: Gimme me moar fear peoplez. I watched 'The Haunting in Connetiquack' and didn't flinch. More for the religous type of people.

Answer:
I am actually quite interested in starting some paranormal conversations concerning psychic powers and their dangers. I think a great topic would be Paranormal Paranoia and the Effects of Government Testing. It would be extremely complicated and I'd have to reserve several posts in order to cover all the topics properly.
I've been holding off for research purposes, but now I see I'm going to have to up the output and just venture out.
Basically, I want to start talking about other worlds and psychic powers, more dreams and definitely start a topic on the worst ways to die. ^_^.

that's kind of a tough question to answer.......well the things i've enjoyed the most so far are the stories that people write also manga pages that have been posted but there have only been a couple since i joined so more of those would be nice cause i never know where to find that kind of thing. mabe some more real life stuff like hauntings, personal experiances with the paranormal, the disaters tread was a good idea by the way ^_^ hope this hase helped

Aw, jeez, Vanilla, this is difficult.
I don't really know what I would like to see in the guild. Maybe a writing contest, because some people (like me) can't draw(in my case, to save my life).But blindedscience doesn't want stuff llike that...
I just would like more people to actually come onto the guild, and have what Sephy said. The 'horror guild alliances'. That'd be nice.
Sephy, is your guild the one in your sig?
