Due to the new pvp world update and all of those 26kers out there, the economy in runescape has been getting all messed up. The amount of gold coming into the game is outweighing how much is going out, causing the prices for most items to skyrocket. Discuss how its been affecting you.

It's sorta helped me.
Because all the items that have been going up, I can collect myself, like Whips, Dark Bows, ect.
So I say YAYYYYYY <3
Though, I did buy a DFS and it's goe up, but I fear it's going to start going down down down. gonk

Well, since 26Kers can now be banned (woohoo) it doesn't change much anyways
We still have those PvP items coming into the game not to mention better loot than what should be given so yeah... Things I need to worry about are potions... I'm just hoping Herblore becomes profitable from the PvP... Too bad that's like a 5% chance of actually happening, haha.
Personally I have one more skill that I actually need to buy and that's 80 herblore from 76. Once I get that done I don't give a damn. I'll probably leave RS then... Iunno, haha... I really want 80+ stats, all I care about at this point wink

Am I the only one not happy about it lol? I had to pay 54.5m to get my sgs, a few months back it was only 46m >_>.

I don't normally buy anything from the GE, I sell. It has helped me tremendously, I'm making 90-100k a day easily just by fishing and farming.

-crawls from under her rock- Oooh, inflation! So THAT'S why battlestaves are 8.4k now? o_o; I had no clue. Eh, the only thing that it's really holding me back on is gathering battlestaves from other users.
Inflation really, really doesn't affect me that much, except fattening my pockets when I decide to sell things... IF I decide to sell things. -hoarder-

inflation for dude = a happy d00d i never keep over 10m in my bank i always seem to buy somethign and now i am worth over 150m in just melee gear XD =] so inflation esss goood more net worth for dude =]

honestly I haven't gotten hit by it at all. I do most of my skills by myself so I don't buy that much from the GE. What I sell actually gets sold faster and my friends are getting more money because they are in the food trade (which we all knew once pvp was back the food trade would go back up). And I didn't know that 26kers were finally getting banned. That's good to know, even though I don't pk. Nothing I have wanted has gone up on the GE. The only thing that I am not looking forward to is the increase in price of dragon bones, now 99 Prayer costs 148mil. Prayer was planned to be my second 99 (construction being my first). I might have hunter, fletching, and mage done before I get that 148 mil though for prayer.

RS economy is a lie. As in, it isn't like the real world with limited resources and stuff. It's just like what I say to beggars in RS crying that they need more, because they're broke or poor.

You can't be broke or poor in RS. You're just too lazy to click, in which case FYL. You can't succeed in life if you can't even succeed in clicking repeatatively in a game. rofl

i think in order to balance out the update they should go back to dropping whips and such to make up for people losing em on death cause of the skulling and no item protect. Basically i find it that pking isnt ruined like most people say. Sure most items are going up or down but pking is finally ment how it was supposed to be. 2 people fighting a fair fight.
