A small brown and tan cub bounded through a small patch of flowers, chasing the small bugs that flew away from her/ She snapped at them futiley, as they rose far from her reach. She always had fun in the small flower feilds that popped up everywhere during the warm seasons.
Saccharose, the cub, has wandered away from her mum and siblings for a while - she loved them dearly, but everyone needed some alone time. Not her, specifically, but her feamily. She was hyper and cheerful, and that was just how she was.
Panting, the small cub sat in her spot. A large grin displayed on her face. Some of the bugs were coming back, but she was too tired to chase them. A butterfly, unknowingly, landed upon her head, which she swiveled to watch the bugs flitting around her.

Noi had ran all morning, she didn't know where she was going, just that she needed to move. She was tired now, resting in a patch of flowers. Her rest was interrupted by the sound of someone else nearby. Blinking she glanced up seeing who it was. Spotting the small cub she couldn't help but smile. She would have cubs of her own soon, but they wouldn't look like her.
Pushing herself to her paws she padded over the the brown cub, a smile on her maw. "Hello there," She sat down watching the little lioness, amused by the butterfly on her head. She kept her smile easy, trying to show she wasn't a threat.

Saccharose was slightly shocked for a bit. She hadn't expected to see anyone here. She never saw anything like it. In fact, the other creaure had no tail tuft! How strange. "Hello!" the little lioness said brightly and beaming. She was curious.
"What are you?" She asked curiously, before flinching. "Sorry, mum said what was rude." She was still, curious. She knew that the female creature before he wasn't a lioness.
"You're very pretty."

Noi smiled when the little lioness didn't seem frightened of her. When she asked what she was she couldn't help but laugh softly. "It's alright," She paused glancing around and then leaned forwards to her as if sharing a big secret. "I'm a leopard."
Hearing her compliment she smiled widely. "Thank you, you're pretty yourself." She glanced around noticing there weren't any other lions about. "You look young to be off on your own, where are you parents?"

"A leopard..." The lioness repeated in wonder. Her mind committed the knowledge to memory. She rocked on the balls of her feet for a moment, before blinking in confusion when a butterfly flew away from her.
She beamed at the leopardess. "Thank you," she said happily. "My mum's somewhere in that direction." She waved one sugar-colored paw. "She'll call when she wants us back. I dunno where dad is," she said with a shrug. She didnt even know who her dad, only that two of her siblings were with him.

Noi smiled, yes a leopard. Her thick tail curled around her haunches and her ears flickered in the lioness direction. A chuckle escaped her as the butterfly flew away, but then she looked back to the brown cub.
"You're welcome," She glanced in the direction that she pointed to and then back to her, when she heard about her father she frowned. At least she had a mother. Noi didn't remember either of her parents. "I'm sorry about your father," Feeling tiredness sweep over her she moved till she was lying down and then rolled on her side.
She kept one eye on the cub as she spoke. "I'm Noidee'a, what's your name?"

The little lion sat on her rump after loosing her balance by rocking on her toes. "It's alright, I didn't know him," She shrugged. "Mum's lovely though. Best mum in the world." Saccha idolized her mother.
She watched as the leopard laid down. She just noticed that the older female looked tired. She frowned but didn't comment. "M'mum named me Saccharose."

She couldn't help but smile at the cubs antics but then she sighed, she wasn't used to being this tired, but then she wasn't used to carrying around cubs in her belly either. Hearing her words she nodded, she supposed that would make it better, not knowing what you were missing. "That's good, I don't remember my parents, but I suppose they were nice enough."
Noi noticed the other was frowning and she widened her own smile trying to give off the effect that she was fine. "That's a very pretty name," Her tail flicked back and forth through the flowers as she laid there. "So, what are you doing out in the flowers?"

"Aww, I'm sorry," Saccha frowned. She would be very sad if she didn't know her mother. "I sure hope they were... kind that is..." She game a smile when the leopardess smiled. "Thank you," She said again, sheepish now, but still beaming happily.
"The flower fields? I was chasing the butterflies, but I got tired and stopped, then you came, and they that's what happened." She gave a firm nod.

Noi shrugged slightly, which was awkward because she was on her side. She had pretty much gotten over not remembering her parents as she grew older. She had to for she forgot many things, it was worse when she was younger, but her memory was starting to get better now.
She chuckled at her mini-story, it sounded like something a cub would say. She pushed herself up to her paws slowly and gave herself a small shake. "Say, would you like to play a game, Saccharose?" She smiled, she hadn't played any games in a long time.

"A game? What kind of game?" She hadn't know many games yet, except for tag and chasing the bugs. She was still excited though. Someone besides her siblings wanted to play with her!
"I only know how to play Tag, do you know any others?"

Noi watched the little lioness a smile on her maw, to be young again. She barely remembered her cubhood. "I know a couple others," She didn't know if she had the energy for tag so she suggested something that was a little less energetic. "How about hide and go seek? I can teach you how to play"

"Hide and go seek?" Saccha questioned with a small frown. "How is that played? You'll really teach me?" She was excited for a new game - after all, games were always fun.
She looked up at the darkly colored leopard with a smile. "How m'ny games do ya know?"

Noi nodded with a smile, deciding to answer her last question first. "Oh, I know a few games, I used to know more but I've forgotten them." She chuckled, she forgot a lot in her life time. "And I will really teach you hide and go seek. The basic idea is that one of us is the seeker, and one of is the hider. Now, the seeker closes her eyes and counts as high as she can and while her eyes are closed, the hider runs off and hides- but not too far away we don't want anyone getting lost." She chuckled, she'd gotten lost in hide and go seek before. "So then, once the seekers done counting she opens her eyes and looks for the hider! And when she finds them they switch and she hides and the other seeks."

The small lioness hung on to every word the leopardess spoke. She committed the instructions to memory. She only had one issue. "I don know how to count very high," she mumbled lightly, hoping that Noidee'a would hear her. She was slightly dejected. What if the nice leopard didn't want to play anymore...?
