Aryaisha sat underneath a tree out on the seemingly endless grassland, resting in its welcoming shade. His pale golden eyes watched as the few clouds floated aimlessly across the bright blue sky, with the occasional bird flying by marring there graceful travel. A warm breeze teasing his main and fur and fluttering the tree leaves above his head, it also caused the tall grass to ripple like water in a pond.

His mind was wondering, jumping from thought to thought as he unconsciously started to create a story in his mind. There once was a brave lion who roamed the savanna righting wrongs and being an all around good guy until the day that he met her. In Ary's mind the lion had a striking resemblance to himself but rather then having white markings they were black. She walked out of the nearby woods, the sunlight making her yellow markings flash like gold and her dark fur glitter like onyx. Our hero was smitten with first glance and approached the lioness with no hesitance. He mentally paused as his mind created the image of the lioness, she too looked like a lion that Ary had recently met but with fewer markings.

He continued to weave his tale as he watched as life went on around him. a heard of antelope galloping in the distance, a lone hunter giving chase, a flock of birds startled from a tree, and countless things that he observed. His mind saw these images and breaded them into his mental tale of his hero and his beloved.

Buni didn't like this.

For the first time in her endless life, the Goddess of Imagination was extremely bored.
Why she didn't particularly know but it might've been to do with her lack of vitamin Kazi, she hadn't seen the colourful God in moons and was missing him sorely.
Sitting on a rock out in the open she contemplated this and pouted in a slightly childish manner.

She missed her God of Awesome!

However as she mildly sulked, flicking her tail back and forth as tiny multi coloured storm clouds the size of an average butterly and coincidentally with equally colorful butterfly wings started to float from the tuft of sapphire blue fur.
All of them rumbling with soft, somber tones in accord before going gray and disapearing in a puff of small sparkles that melted to the wind.

That was amusing.
Slightly.
But she was still so BOOOOOOOOR-Jingle.

Her ears perked atop her head slightly...Jingle.

Flicking one of her ears to the wind as she listened out, her smile slowly grew.
Someone was using their imagination...not strongly but it was being used and it called to her like the chirping bird songs in the jungle.

Almost instantly she began to hop merrily in the direction the tune was coming from, wings bouncing atop her form and fluttering whenever she hoppped into the air as her own happy tune hummed brightly from her.
It was only when she found the tree and the subsequent person it was coming from did she literally pause in mid air and flutter down to land calmly as she watched the other.

This would be interesting.

Mortal's, especially grown ups had rather interesting imaginations.
She preferred the younger ones but an adult...? Well this was new on her and she stalked up slowly to the tree, tail stuck up in the air like a big blue beacon through the grass as her prism coloured orbs stared at him quietly from her hidey place.

Aryaisha had to shift since the fairly new claw marks on his hind quarters were still healing and still hurt. He did not hold these new scars against Yaretzi she did what she grew up doing, fighting, even if it was unintentional. Ignoring his pain he went back to building his story, so his hero and his hero's love have met and after a while decided to get formally matted and that is where his train of thought picked up. But on the day that there mating was to be formalized a crowd of birds come flying in from the north crying out a warning, antelope and other grass eaters followed shortly, then came the carnivores, all crying out a warning. The lion and his mate saw a black haze in the distance, the hero knowing what he must do turned to his love and told her to run and he would find her if he could. After telling her that he loved her he ran in the direction of the black haze knowing that he might not come back.

Ary was trying to think of a suitable danger for his hero, mostly playing around with the idea of a dragon, when he noticed a bright blue tail tuft sticking out of the tall grass. He wasn't sure where this tail came from but did not automatically assume that the tail belonged to a hostile lion since it was obvious that he had zoned out it would have been a good time to attack him. Ary stood up, not making a face as his healing wounds stretched, and called out "Hello?"

Oooooo this was a good one!

She lay there in the grass, paws raised to rest on either cheek as she listened at the scene played out in this males head like a symphony to her ears.
Very epic so far, a couple of lions, soooooooo in love, such a sweet melody, then, baboom! THE DRAMA!
She LOVED epic fantasies such as these and she rolled around playfully in the grass as she listened to it till it ended with an audiable pop inside of her ears.

...?

What happened there?

Where'd the scene go?

Poking her head out the grass in her current position, she blinked her rainbow colored eyes at the male as she became visible to him and tilted her head ever so slightly in curiousity.
She then slipped back into the grass and rolled onto her stomache.
Seeing the world upside down was so weird and made her head feel so...goopy.
That was a good word.
But enough of the silliness as fun as it was.

Bunika' pushed herself to her paws before moving to wade out of the grass, a cheerful smile aimed at him as her wings stretched and briefly fluttered to lay against her back. Sitting herself down calmly before she raised a paw and waved it at him.

"Hi!"

Aryaisha stared in wonder as a lioness stood up from the grass after a moment or two. He wasn't even sure if it was a lioness, it looked like one except for the wings and the eyes. Ary wasn't stupid, far from it, so it only took him a few moments to figure out that this strange lioness was a goddess, a goddess of what though was a different mater though. There was a slight mental pang for the fact that his story would have to be put on a back burner, since he was just getting to the good part even if he didnt know what it was yet, but Ary felt that his undivided attention would be needed for this goddess.

Figuring that politeness would be a good idea, Ary did a sudo bow to the goddess and once he was facing her again said "Hello Lady, I did not expect one such as your self. Aryaisha is my name and it is very nice to meet you Lady." He was wondering why any god would show themselves to him, and what this particular goddess was a goddess of.

This lion made her giggle, very much so.

Lifting up her paws as she sat on her haunches to place them over her muzzle to slightly mute her girlish snicker, her eyes lit up at how polite he was being to her.
Silly lion!
But during such she noticed the story had ended and briefly pouted, brows furrowing in slight frustration.
It had just gotten to the good part!
Don't stop!

She then shook her head and fell forward, upon impact of her paws on the ground, a few bubbles briefly popped into existence before floating a few moments and then disapearing.
Tail wagging back and forth as she stared at him.

"Not expecting me???" She said, looking quite humorously suprised. "You silly billy! You're the one that called out to me with that fun story you were making up!"

Bunika' didn't understand the impact Gods and Godesses' had on the world and so just grinned her cheerful, cub like grin before fluttering back onto her haunches and offering her own polite bow.

"My name is Bunika'Mwenzi," She started politely enough. "Call me Buni!...Orrrrrr imagination! Some of the other Gods do."

The lioness then tilted forward, staring at him with the same big smile and those shining multicolored eyes.

"What's your name, story-lion?"

Aryaisha was surprised when some bubbles were created, god's could in theory do what they wanted but for the life of him, he could not figure out why the goddess created bubbles. And to make things more confusing she said that he called her with the story that he was making up in his head. "You mean you could 'hear' that?" He asked, amazed that something as elementary could do that. "It's not all that big of a deal I think of things like that all the time."

When Buni said to call her 'imagination' it was like a light went on for Ary. Oh now I get it, he thought as he smiled and said "It is a pleasure to meet you Lady Buni." Imagination was likely her realm of godlessness so it explained the bubbles and the 'hearing' his story. But when she asked for his name Ary became confused again, he had just introduced him self a moment ago. Shrugging it off he introduced himself a second time, "My name is Aryaisha but if it pleases you, you may call me Ary."

It was obvious this Goddess was very scatter brained, just smiling idly at the other as she sat there in a very informal manner, like a cub would sit and she stuck out her tongue lazily as he spoke while finding great amusement in twirling it between her lips and crossing her eyes slightly so she could down the length of her muzzle to see it.
Tongues were funny!
They wriggled like worms!
But when she realised the lion was talking again, she peered at him and her tongue lulled out from where it poked before slurping it back in and nodding.

"Your story was fun!" She said rather bluntly before hopping up and down excitedly as she watched him.
Bunika' had promised long ago that she'd never ever want to grow up mentally, because growing up mentally ment almost a near loss of the best imagination you could ever have.
And she didn't want that.
No siree!

"It sounded like a big epic one and had some romance too!" At the word romance, she lifted her paws together and placed them both together, resting them against her cheek as if she was almost swooning.
Even batting her eyelashes to some affect as some small, pink floating object, resembling what one could only imagine to be heart shapes butterflies floated up around her head before popping in unison.

Such an odd display.

But as she quickly returned her paws to the ground she gazed at him with a cheerfully hopeful smile.

"Could you continue!? Could you? Huh??? I -REALLY- wanna know how the rest goes!"

Such an odd Goddess.

Ary watched the goddess and it didn't take him long to figure out that she was just a big kid mentally, and when he finally came to that conclusion he had a horrible thought, Is that what I was like when I was trying to act more like a cub? He didn't really think so, mostly he stuck to telling stories and playing pranks, with a few other little things tossed in. Or at least he hoped he didn't look like that.

When Buni complmented his story and asked to hear more, Ary agreed after all the story was not yet done. Guess I don't have to 'think' it anymore I can just tell it out loud, he thought as he put his mind back on track for the story. After a moment Ary sat down and got comfortable before picking back up on his story.

"Our hero begin his long and arduous journey, only the gods would know how long it would take for him to return to his sweetheart. On the first day all the lion encounter was fleeing animals with the beckon of the black haze drawing him onward. By sunset the second day the haze had covered half of the sky and the air had taken on a smokey flavor to it. "its got too be near here." He said to himself as he took stock of his surroundings. Hard packed dirt with the remains of burnt grasses and a few bones that the lion did not look all that closely at."

Here Ary paused, He new that the monster that he wanted to use dealt with fire but he didnt know what to use. Then in a almost inspired move he said to Buni "You wouldn't happen to know of a monster that deals with fire do you?"

Buni sat there slack jawed, staring at the lion in quiet awe as he continued his tale and for once she sat in total silence.
Not a peep.
Not a giggle.
Though her tail did sway or flicker at every word, like she was listening to a divine song or tune and her tail was conducting the majority of it.
But...
When he stopped, so did the overly puffed bit of blue fur on the tip of her tail. Eyes finally blinking before she peered at him in silent questioning before the problem was brought to her.

"A monster?" She blinked, raising a paw to gently poke at her forehead in thought as her other paw lay beneath the elbow belonging to its brother.
That was quite hard to think of.
Normally she thought of...well...nicer things, buuuuut if it continued the story...

A small thoughtful snort escaped her pink nose before she tilted forward, placing a paw on the ground as though squashing something underneath it before she pulled it up, pulling something attached to the underside along with it as it stretched.
As it stretched it bubbled and squeaked slightly before it began to harden, the Goddess briefly peering at it before she began to nose and sniff at it.
Soon the small object sprouted tiny wings, like that of a bat and the top elongated and tapered to a fat, round end that soon had two round, dark purple eyes peering bermusedly at the two larger creatures.
Well it was starting to atleast look at something.
Bunika' gave a thoughtful 'hrmmm' as she peered at it again before it sprouted another long, tapering apendage that ended to a sharp point.

It was complete.

For a moment it did nothing, simply laying there, before it flapped its wings and fluttered briefly around them.
Squawking out small belches of ash and smoke before it, as all Bunika's creations, disapeared into the array of multicoloured sparkles that soon disolved into the ether.

"I'm sorry it's a little small..." She said with a slight pout. "...But I suppose you can make it bigger, yeah?"

Tilting her head up to look up at the lion with a blink of her multicolored eyes.

Aryaisha watched in amazement as Buni created her little creature, "That is perfect." He watched as it winged around them belching out ash and smoke before disappearing, "It's a shame that it dissolved but it's perfect, it will have to be a bit bigger so..."

He got the story build in his mind and he took this new addition and started his story once more, "That night as the lion rested in his special way, always on alert, something woke him out of a sound sleep. Looking around him at the dark landscape, no moon to illuminate anything, he could not find what woke him until a flare of fire from the sky attracted his attention. The flying creature continued to set fire to the sky and the smoke that had been slowly obscuring the sky during the day acted like a mirror so our hero could make out a shape of the thing he was hunting. The shadow was long and snake like with one end coming to a sharp point while the other blew fire across the night sky, two black bat like wings flapped stirring the smoke and obscuring the little visual that the lion could get. He spent the rest of the night dozing and watching the sky for any more fire." Ary paused trying to think of the next step in his story.

Continuation!

It made the lioness literally squeal with joy as she flopped onto her stomache and listen as her paws moved to rest upon her cheeks, she was so eager to hear the rest of the story!
It had gotten so good!
With wide eye'd wonder she listened and slowly her lower jaw started to grow slacker with his tale.

Then he stopped again!

Her lips pursed in a slight pout as she watched him think, come on what happened with the story!?
He was really having trouble wasn't he?

"And? And???" She asked eagerly, practically bouncing as her wings flapped in an over eager manner.
"What happened next???"

Aryaisha was pleasantly surprised that this goddess enjoyed his story so much that she was practically bouncing. He thought a moment more before continuing in his tale...

"When our hero woke from his fitful sleep he shrugged off the image from the night before as nothing more then a nightmare. And once he had worked the kinks from his stiff joints and muscles he continued his journey, ever closer to the area that the black smoke seemed to emanate from. It was not long into that same day that the lion came upon a cliff face with a hazardous track leading up to a clearly visible ledge and cave. The rock around the cave mouth was blackened and there was smoke trialing out as well, making the already smoke clogged sky worse. Watching from a save distance the lion waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, just as the sun was setting, turning the blackened clouds blood red, the creature from his nightmare. "It was real!" he whispered to himself in shock. This time with the fading daylight reveling the creature he could and did get a better look.

It was huge with large leathery bat wings that had a large wing span. Black scales covered it from snout to tail tip, with the tail ending in a barbed point. Four legs extended from its snake like body to end in wicked looking claws. Evil, poisonous, violet eyes scoured the desolate landscape, looking for interlopers. Our hero crouched down, hoping that the soot streaked boulders that he was hiding behind blended with his brown and black coat. As night fell and the dragon, for that was what it was, blew fire out of the cave mouth every so often. The lion kept vigilance through out the night and watched as every so often the dragon would leave to go hunting.

As the sun rose through the hazy smoke, our hero knew that he would need help. There was no way he could defeat this dragon alone, and it looked like he would need a miracle to do it with help as well." Ary stopped. His story had taken a twist that he himself had not seen coming, and now he really did need to think of what was coming next.

((hey look its a story within a story XD))

The goddess lay there in the dirt, her chin upon her paws as she gazed at him in quiet awe at his story.
Such a dynamic hero it sounded like and such a terrifying beast! Whatever would the hero do!?
Would he be eaten or live to fight another day??
As it got to the climax she almost shouted as he stopped again, practically on the edge of her tail as she watched him with wide and pleading eyes.

"Don't stop!" She squeaked. "What happens to the hero???"

Ary was quite glad that this pretty lady, a goddess to boot, liked his story but he honestly didn't know what would happen to the hero so after a few moments he started the story back up, hoping that inspiration would strike as he told it.

"Well since our hero knew that help would be needed he left the desolate land of the dragon with a split heart, a part wanted to stay and fight while the other knew that he had to find help in order to even have a chance to survive. As he traveled he met others who were scared or scarred by the dragon and most wanted to fight it but the lion knew that having a large group of others who had no skill was worse then one who had great skill so he warned them away knowing that those who were determined to fight wouldn't take his warning. Doing his best to prevent a massacre he picked a place for a meeting in a few months time so those that still wanted to fight could meet him before going into battle.

It was on one of the rare days that he did not see anyone that he was approached by three females; a lioness, a leopardess, and a cheetah. Figuring that they were the same as the others he called out to them, telling them to go home. But rather then stop they just kept coming up to him, each female with the same determined look on her face and movements. There pale coats made them seem to glow in the bright sunlight and distance made it near impossible to make out eye color or the patterns on such pale coats. It was not until the were much closer that our hero noticed that the lioness had the typical pale eyes of a blind lion, now he really did know that these girls would be no help to him. But he was surprised when the blind lioness looked directly at him and said 'You can no defeat the creature without our help.'"

Ary paused for a breath as well to finish thinking out this new twist in this story of his, that seems to have a life of its own.
