Pippin has sent out a general invitation to all guardians who are around and available to attend a costume party at his mansion. It will be a sweet little party, for Pippin has games and treats and prezzies for all the little Forgotten. However, the House has other ideas.. YOU WILL WANT TO BE INVOLVED. Trust me, the prizes at the end of this are pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. Plus, the mini-quest your Forgotten will receive is personalized and very nifty, believe me, >8D. For the sake of the ability to actually complete a mini-quest, because parents and Forgotten will be separated and because of the fact that very little is known about them thus far (making it difficult for me to formulate a miniquest just yet), I discourage anyone with a very young and newly acquired Forgotten to join up officially. You will not have to be available for roleplay for a long amount of time! IN FACT, there will only be a very brief roleplay to get things started. You may, when you announce that you want to participate, write up an entrance rp for your Forgotten and your guardian character. I will be roleplaying the actual event that leads up to the mini-questage contest thing. After the point where the House causes trouble, you will be basically on your own in your own mini-quest thread (or journal if you so wish, please indicate which one you'd like to do). There will be times when I have to roleplay the house as well, which is why you may have concerns about me posting roleplay posts in your journal. A separate thread might be ideal if you like to keep your journal neat, in this case. Post here in OOC brackets who will be attending (The Forgotten and the guardian, along with the corresponding costumes! They are a must for the Forgotten, but all you need is a description, art optional~. Thank you for listening, now back to your regularly scheduled programming!

(( Um, this time around Wren's dressed up as a zombie, very prone to biting, >D. Mael is dressed up as a dragon, complete with horns, wings, and an old dated outfit ( probably oriental ).
(( And I'll take an individual thread for the mini-quest and put it in my journal later, <3. ))
Letting out a groan worthy of any zombie, Wren shuffled his way up the path and towards the mansion. Mael was right at his side, continuing to practice the fluttering of the wings on his back. They couldn't lift him off the ground like he knew his father's wings could do, but they still moved like they real.
It satisfied him somewhat, just as the horns that were on his head did. His tail twitched back and forth happily as he tugged on a sleeve of the outfit he wore. Reaching a hand into a hidden pocket, he felt both the golden coin from Otium as well as April's hair clip -- never mind there were a few assorted jewels in there as well. The coin and the hair clip were the most important, however, and all ways with him, even when dressed up.
Suffocation was a warm weight around his body, despite the fact that both of them were rather cool at the moment. ( Wren knew his wife had a jacket hidden on her somewhere for them just in case things got too cold for Mael's tastes. ) Suffocation sported mini-wings of her own along her back, but they were only decoration and would slide off easily if she moved about. She was portraying a Chinese dragon! Though there really wasn't much to the costume.
"Come on, inside," Wren said, humming a tune under his breath. He was looking forward to partying with Pippin, since they hadn't had a boys night out in a while. ( Even if the kids were around, they could still have fun! )
"'Kay," Mael responded, raising his hand and wrapping it around his father's as they walked up the steps. He was, actually, looking forward to visiting. Some part of him hoped to see certain people, but he didn't hold his breath for it. Instead, he would be satisfied knowing he got to go out once again in his dragon outfit.
Of course, right as they entered the building, Mael let out a large roar, as any proper dragon would do.
Wren just chuckled and continued on inside, seeing if he could find Pippin.

(( Kel is dressed red and black and sparkly... Althalus is a cowboy (lame I know, but he looked so cute in the costume surprised )
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v117/cinnamon_kel/althaluscowboy.jpg
I'd also like to have the mini-quest thread, please. :3 ))Kel-chan was in spangles, and starting to regret the idea. But as Althalus giggled and tugged at her hand, she shook her head with a rueful smile. No point going back to change now... Her top was red and glittery, her skirt (a skirt? Good grief!) was glittery, and even the black stripy socks were dusted with glitter that Auriga had carefully sprinkled on for her. There was even glitter in her damn hair...
Althalus let go of her hand, frustrated by his mother's slowness, and ran a few steps ahead. The toddler was dressed in jeans, a red check shirt and had, for once, his beloved bandana around his neck; a cowboy hat perched on his fair, messy hair and his dark eyes were excited. Stealth had tucked herself around his neck, almost invisible as usual, apart from her own bright eyes. They loved meeting people! This was going to be so much fun!
The pair reached the porch, and Kelinor smiled as she looked up at the warm lighted windows of the House. It looked so inviting.. she couldn't wait for this party. An impatient Althalus hanging on her wrist, she opened the front door and went in. "Hellooooo...."

(( Reyna is a pirate, and Sam is a panda! And an individual thread for later would be awesome. >3 ))Reyna sighed as she stood on the sidewalk a little ways away from the mansion. She was definately in the right place, she just wasn't entirely certain she wanted to go in. Social situations weren't exactly her cup of tea. It wasn't that she was frightened of people or crowds, she just preferred to avoid them when she could. She frowned as she mulled over her thoughts before flinching visibly when Sam grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked. Hard. She definatley missed her short hair.
The child in her arms squealed loudly in excitement as they walked a little further and the house came into her line of sight. She kicked her little legs and squirmed so that Reyna had to adjust her grip on her so that she wouldn't fall from her arms in her attempt to get a better view of things.
Fragments, was already gone it seemed. He dashed up ahead of them, zipping through the air in dizzying little circles to wait impatiently near the door, tail wagging all the while. He remembered this place!
She paused once more to adjust Sam's onesie so that the hood was up over her head -- she was quite cute dressed up as a panda. It made Reyna want to squish her (in a good, cuddly sort of way) but she wasn't about to admit that was why she bought that particular outfit. Her costume, and Sam's, were left over from Halloween. She hadn't the time or patience to figure out new outfits for the both of them. Besides, the pirate attire suited her, and her eyepatch blended in with the costume nicely.
With one final sigh as she carefully carried the wriggling child in her arms, she entered the house with Fragments playfully nipping at her heels.

[Nisha is going to be a butterfly (who saw THAT coming?), Desperate is going to be a daisy, and Aki is going to be a waterfall!
I'd like...a mini quest thread too? <3]
"Desperate! Stay close, please!" Aki's voice was a tad worried, after all...she couldn't exactly chase the Daemon with the outfit she was in! A gorgeous cascading azure dress with a mess of white ruffles at the bottom, sashes that faded from cerulean to white tied at her neck and both wrists, and tiny glimmering sapphires sewn into the rich fabric transformed her into rather stunning 'waterfall'...even her hair bleached out to white for the occasion! Her milky skin shone with the almost unnoticeable rub of light blue body glitter, the same hue as the gems that held her pale hair back from her face and supported the corners of her delicate face veil.
Desperate slowed a bit, colored tail swishing in eagerness. He wore the collar of long white 'daisy petals' around his neck without any fuss...though he hadn't appreciated the yellow dot painted in the center of his forehead, nor having his tail dipped in green. Flapping his ears in questioning, stirring the petals that framed his face, Desperate trumpeted in excitement.
Nisha winced at the noise, but stayed seated. Her soft cloth 'butterfly wings' were attached at each wrist, the transparent layers of fabric shimmering in purples and golds as she twisted to glare at Aki. From her perch along Desperate's back, the world didn't seem so big. He was only a baby, it was true, but he was still substantially larger than the babe upon his back. He seemed strong enough to carry her, but Aki was still well aware of the scene that would ensue should Nisha slip from his back to the sidewalk below.
"Just...slow down, and stay close, okay! We're almost there." Finally catching up, Aki clutched her tiny blue purse in one hand and caressed Nisha's hair with the other. The babe leaned forward with a grump, burying her face in the ruff of petals. Sighing, Aki settled for patting her back instead, and glanced farther up the street.
Her eyes settled on the old building almost instantly. Stomach tightening a bit, Aki tried to shove aside her uneasy feelings. After all, the last visit turned out just fine! She had a new daughter, a new...elephant...and quite a few memories! Most of them pleasant.
Lifting Nisha from Desperate's back long enough for the Daemon to clamber up the stairs, Aki ignored her fussing and plopped her back where she wished to be. "You know, if you'd learn to walk...or talk...this wouldn't be so difficult." Sometimes, she had the feeling that the babe was perfectly capable, but simply didn't wish to expend the effort. Tweaking Nisha's nose, she gave her irritated daughter a wry smile before raising her hand to knock.

(( *hauls sickly self in and dies on the porch*
Otium is spelled and dressed to look like.. DUN DUND UN.. Mael. >D Halo is dressed like a Sith Lord. One of the cool alien ones. With a cool super magical light saber looking thing .. uhh yeah *stops geeking out*
Wren also says that Halo says she wants a thread for this. :: Smooches on Halo. :: ))
The light of her magicked lightsaber cast a greenish glow over her and her son as they made their way up the path to the house. She saw some people entering before them and she knew Wren and Mael had left ahead (mostly because they still had finishing touches to do on their costumes.
Halo's black robes billowed behind her, framing the bright colors of the boy she had walking along side. She'd asked him politely if he'd stay in color for a while and while he wasn't actually sure how to control that yet, Otium agreed to try. So now as he walked along side his evil Sith Lord mother, the usually monochrome boy sported a little hoody, some baggy pants and sneakers, a beanie cap with a ' twisted ' face on it and his skin sported all the familiar colors of everyone's favorite serpentine child: Mael. He even had a makeshift tail sewed on the back of his pants that waved every now and again. In accordance, of course, Immaculate's fur was dyed a brilliant shade of red to do a proper imitation of Suffocation. The only deviation in Otium's accuracy was some of the jet black hair that kept peeking out of the hat and was immediately pushed back up by himself or his mother.
For once, the little boy didn't mind the clothes. If only because he was being his brother.
Immaculate barked towards the house, since in her getting bigger her yips had changed to yaps and now to barks and they came less frequently. The trio shuffled up towards the porch and in turn the door.
"It's gonna be fun Ottie. You'll see all your friends right?"
Otium looked up and blinked his barely-blue eyes, "Mayl and April?"
"Yeah them. And I am sure the others." The boy just shrugged to the others but Mael and April was good enough for him.
The door, suddenly, was blocked by a mass.
"Aki?" Halo tilted her blue colored face, eyes bewitched to be a crazy shade of yellow and vicious black markings and battle scars laced all over. "WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE!" She cackled slightly and Otium just sort of stared at the immense daemon in front of him. Immaculate sniffled cautiously.
"Let's not get stuck on the step. We don't knock around here. Just walk right in..."
One jedi mind trick later (and dramatic theatrical movement), Halo had the door swinging open for all of them.

((Tia is a gypsy, Iqbal is a yellow, fluffy baby chick, and Fortune is an egg. XD Lesse, I'd like a thread also to put my replies in and then put it into my journal. ^^ Aww, Iqbal is so cute. XD))
Jingling lightly from the overwhelming amount of gaudy jewelry Tia wore around her arms, a small forgotten latched onto her hand. Tia smiled down to Iqbal, pleasantly trying not to fawn over the adorable costume she had come up with for the wolf child.
"No 'ike! Ba'd, ba!" Iqbal squirmed lightly as he walked, feet spread out far enough to waddle in the fluffy yellow costume.
"Don't worry Iqbal, it's not bad, a chick is good! I bet no one will have this costume." The costumed gypsy smiled to her little boy as Fortune squawked unhappily in her own costume, annoyed that she could not fly in the massive white blob placed around her that Tia had called an 'egg'.
The gryphon daemon was alongside Iqbal as the forgotten chuckled to her. At least he didn't feel as bad with Fortune having an even more ridiculous costume than him. Keeping up with Tia's pace, the three finally made it to the entrance of the antique building. Tia gave a reassuring smile to the two as she opened the door lightly, guiding the two inside.
Iqbal poked out his bottom lip in a pout, hopes that he could hide behind his mother not to be seen in the outfit she had stuck him in.

Eyes somewhat red and features awash with listless lack of concentration, a young woman swept into the decrepit building, troubles somewhat obscured by a gilt mask, a long beak sweeping forth to hide her downturned lips, only the grey eyes showing through the ornate piece. Atop the accessory was a mass of feathers, plumage to put any proud rooster to shame, two peacock appendages the chief instigators of the fun. Behind this her long black locks were coiled upwards to meet the downy mass, only a few curled locks hanging over her shoulder escaping.
Her gown was of a dark green hue, a blue sheen falling in the light to compliment the peacock plumes atop the woman's head, a pair of black lace gloves a testiment to the mourning period into which her family had been set lately.
These gloves held up a tiny frame, covered now in pale blue feathers, a suit of the stuff taking the place of her usual rather formal attire. A pair of delicate wings, small and covering the forearm, seemed to have taken the tiny girl's attention, as she stroked the down on one arm with the hand of the other. The blue material stretched across her palms to keep these flight pieces in place occassionally took her liking and she pulled gently on one near the thumb, before going back to the soft feathers. A beak also adorned her delicate face, long and thin, held with elastic over the top of her nose, reaching down to cover her mouth, which held a shy smile as she wondered at the sensations clambering over her fingers. The white bob which was usually so tidy had today been brushed into a sort of mohawk, a finishing touch to the party gear. Yes, she truly looked the part. Only the circlet clasped about her forehead remained of her usual outfit.
And, of course, that ever vigilent soldier sat nestled in the front of her tousled mane, a decidedly unusual expression on his tiny avian features. Instead of the beady eyes raking over the company with mingled fear and distrust, they were focused on his claws, the very tips to be precise. The 'dress' covering his body, excluding only his wings he had forgiven. The piece of string around his head to emulate a circlet he had understood. But when, and WHY had it been decided the tips of his claws had to be painted blue? A pained chirp escaped his beak, and Eydis' eyes flicked up for a moment as she could swear a sigh rang true through her mind.
[Heehee. Lady Siri is dressed in your general masque gear, Eydis is dressed as Frozen, and Frozen as Eydis. Individual thread, sil vous plait, and I'll shove it in her journal. biggrin ]

As the last of the guests spill into the house, the door slams itself shut. Itchy in his King Kong costume, Pippin anxiously glances at it from the corner of his eye, but decides against paying attention to a little detail like that. It probably isn't anything to worry about, he decides. "Welcome, welcome!" he pipes up instead, clapping together his monstrous plastic gorilla hands. "I'm very glad all of you could make it to my costume party!" Counting the heads of his guests, or at least the ones he could manage to spot between the movement, Pip counts a total of seven guardians. Seven guardians means seven Forgotten, and, of course, seven daemons.. somewhere. He swings his large costume with extravagance and, finding that the front hallway is too crowded for a costume as bulky as his, steps up onto the staircase with help from the railing. "We'll just relocate to the living room!" he announces loudly, trying to raise his voice over the murmurs of various voices. Outside the weather is fair - cloudy, but not windy, and the temperature is mild for the season. But cutting off the final word of Pippin's voice is an overwhelming crack. It is as loud as lightning striking the top of the house, and from the following effects it might as well have been lightning. All lights surge and falter. Most of the windows are boarded up, but even the cracks and the uncovered windows provide no source of light either. It can be simply compared to being knocked unconscious, though it is far more than just a cheap attack.. Nonetheless, no one sees it coming, and no one is prepared for what happens next. --- Following the abrupt blackout occurs the strangest thing to happen at the house. [And, considering what actually does take place in it, that is saying a bundle.] The guardians will "awaken" to find out that they are locked inside the Library, including even Pippin's secret exits. [This can be roleplayed out or not, but the main focus is the next part.] But strangest of all.. is that each Forgotten and daemon pair will wake up alone and somewhere very unexpected facing challenge. The stakes are high - to fail the challenge is to never escape the hell now awaiting them, as well as possible serious harm. But to win.. that is the only means of escape, to rejoin their guardian and to continue living. [No Forgotten/daemon will die in the making of this, uhm, metaplot, >>;.]
