Shooting a good Landscape

When you are looking at a landscape photo, there are three things that it will have
1) a foreground
2) a middle ground
3) a background.
All three are needed for a good sweeping shot. if you cut one out, it will look like something is missing.
Next time you shoot a landscape, make sure you have a foreground, and make sure you give your photo depth by making it lead the eye.

Also, be very careful when including a horizon to make your photo level. If it tips off to one side it's really distracting.

When you have all 3 elements lined up with the rule of thirds lines, you get some really eyecatching shots!

You also need a wide angle lens.
And a small aperture, to keep everything in focus.

Just some technical tips that have seemed to help me...
