 ((Yup, my titles suck...)) Nikolai was heading back to his family, having been out exploring for the day. He hadn't been out much lately, and had been bored. Upon a whim he decided to go exploring. Of course, he quickly had realized that it would of been more fun if he had others with him. Shaking his head, he picked up his pace a bit; eager to get back to his father and brother. As he ran, he thought of his childhood. Flashes of his parents, his twin, and his two older siblings crossed his mind. Of course, there was also Linnie; the filly he had been friends with and hadn't seen in a while. He hoped she was well.
With a sigh, Nikolai decided that he needed to get out more often. Maybe he'd drag Akili, Aki for short, with him? His brother needed to get out more often, too. He also needed to go pay his mom, twin, and older sister a visit. Maybe later, though.

 [[nah,its fine xD]] Linnie just had been rolling around the tall grass,knocking the grass over as she itched her back.Linnie laughed and carried on.Chaseing the butterflies without a care in the world.None at all.But one thing she'd like to see was that buddy ol' pale of her Nikolai.They were such foals back then.At the thought of him she stoped playing with the butterflies and looked around.Linnie kept looking around,then she noticed this big ol' stallion comming towards herway.Black,blue spots,and blonde hair.It had to of been him."Niko?"She ask quietly.

His ear twitched as they faintly caught the sound of a whispered word that vaguely sounded like his name. He came to a quick halt, and started to look around. In the distance he could make out another soq that was a dark brown, with a lighter brown mane and tail. The other soq also had a few spots of white and cream. He squinted his eyes, and noticed that it was a mare. He'd only seen one mare that looked like that. So, taking a gander, he took off in her direction, as he got closer he called out her name. "Linnie!!!!!!"

Linnie smiled and pranced towards him.Once he got close enough she whinnied softly and tugged on his mane playfully."Hey Niko!How've you been?"Linnie nuzzled him softly.It had been months since she had seen him last.She remembered when they first met.Just baby foals,and they didn't even have a care in the world.She gave him the nickname Niko for herself.She didn't know if anyone else called him that."Old friend,I've missed you dearly."

"As I've missed you!" He gave her a nuzzle. "I've been pretty well, how have you been? Anything new happen lately?" He grinned, Linnie had grown into a gorgeous mare. "You've certainly changed a bit from our foal days! You're gorgeous, Lin!" He wondered about her life, how the past few months have been for her. They'd both grown, no longer foals; meaning they both had changed.

Lin was excited.He old friend,come back again.Foal friends,best foal friends."I've been good,nice to hear it.Um, niele had babies,"She tried to think of the other thing."I dont remember what else has happened."Linnie listened to him."Stop it!"She laughed."I am not.I am no such thing."

"Congrats to Niele, then!" He laughed at his old friend. "We'll have to agree to disagree, then, I suppose." He shook his head. How could she not see that she was gorgeous? Nikolai was ecstatic to see his friend again.

He was grateful for his darkness, otherwise you would of seen a blush. He lowered his head a bit when she tugged on his mane. "Thank you. Uhm...not much. I've mainly been relaxing with my father and brother...watching out for them since I'm larger than both of 'em." He gave a slight shrug, it was true. They were flutters, he wasn't.

He nods. "Yup! My dad and brother are both flutters. My dad's mom was a flutter and his father was a wind. My twin is also a flutter. My older sister has a wing print on her, but no actual wings...and my mom is a regular." He gave a shrug after his nice bit of family history. "Yeah, they're pretty small...but they can change sizes, which is kinda cool..."

Linnie smiled a bit and listened to him."They all sound so cute.You wing you had wings yourself?I do to,I wish there was a different kind in my herd,And we have are normals."Linnie liked the thought of new soquili in her herd."Niko your awesome how you are,weither you have nice wing,or a bare back.I'm fine the way i am right?"

He grinned. "I'm happy the way I am. I like being able to protect my dad and brother, if I need to. That way, they don't need to waste energy to change sizes and all." He nodded in agreement. "You are perfect the way you are!" He smiled. If either of them had wings...they'd no longer be themselves.

"I agree! I mean, it's the personality that matters, right?!" He looked around the area they were in, looking to see if there was a watering hole anywhere near by. It was hot outside, so a swim sounded pretty good.
