 Leanna was getting a drink out of a stream when she heard some splashing and went to head over towards the noise. After a few minutes she found herself at a huge waterfall. She smile at the wonderful sight then was startled to see the water move horizontally in one spot instead of vertically. This worried her and she took a step back as she saw the movement again. She wondered what could be moving inside the water that could blend so easily. Just then the creature stepped out of the water and looked at her. She could see it was another Taestysia but its coloring was remarkably like that of the waterfall which is why she could not see it earlier.

 Azurial had been watching the fascinating Taestysia from inside the waterfall. From where he had been watching, she looked like she had strange markings all over her body and that made him curious. He moved to get a little closer and saw that she noticed and seemed to freeze. He wondered if she was afraid of him then realized that she probably could not see him that well as he blended into the waterfall. Though that was a reason he had made the magnificient water fountain his home, it did make it seem like he was part of it at times and had startled plenty of creatures from just walking around. Therefore he stepped out of the waterfall and allowed her to see him before he began slowly making his way to her, wanting to talk to her suddenly.

Leanna watched as the blue male walked towards her. She considered running away but decided to wait. He seemed to be of the friendly type and she was curious to know why he looked like a waterfall. As he moved closer, she could even see that his tail had a rainbow on it, as if the light was reflecting off the water and transforming the light into the prism of colors called a rainbow. She sat down near the water and waited for him to stop about three feet away from her and gave him a smile. "Hello, you gave me quite a scare there for a second." she said and nodded her head towards the waterfall.

Azurial looked at the girl closely as he stopped in front of her and sat down. The patterns on her were floral a bit and covered her tail, legs and a few other places of her body. One part of the pattern streaked through her eye and made him notice how deep blue they were. Her bright yellow hair stood out against the dark brown of her skin. "Hello, sorry to have startled you. I tend to forget that I blend in when I am around the waterfall. It is my home thus I am there so often that I just forget things like the fact that I look like the waterfall. Though it definately makes keeping out of the way of any potential threats easy. So again, I do apologize. I was just curious as I noticed you and the strange markings on your body. Could you tell me about them, um, sorry guess I didn't get your name. My name is Azurial. Might I ask you what your's is?"

Leanna smiled at him and could see he didn't mean to startle her. In fact, he looked at her a bit flustered and she wanted to make him feel better. When he said his name was Azurial, she felt that it fit him as it reminded her of the water that he so much resembled. She looked at the markings that he asked about and smiled as she thought of her brother and his opinion of them. "Well first, you can call me Leanna or Lean for short. And me and my twin brother were born with these markings so I do not know where they come from. His are different than mine but still similar. But as we have no parents, we don't know where they originated from." she explained.

Azurial listened to her attentively. Leanna was a pretty name and to his opinion as unique as she seemed to be. Well, kind of unique as she said that she had a twin brother. So he decided to ask a few questions. "Your name is very pretty, I like it. So you have a twin brother. Does he look like you except that the markings or different or are you just twins by date of birth? And I am sorry to hear about your parents. I am sure that they would have loved you given the chance. I never met mine either but I know that so long as there is love in this world, all will be okay. And I found a safe shelter and plenty of food here, so am safe and sound where I was left despite being seemingly abandoned."

Leanna felt sorry that he was left alone in life. Even though she had no parents of her own, she still had her brother and thus was never truely alone. Even now that they were adults, she and her brother did not spend too much time apart from each other. They had always taken care of each other and would always do so if it was in there power or until they fell in love and decided to start their own families. Though she imagined that even after that they would still be close. She thought about Azurial's question. "We are identical but not so. It's hard to explain. My markings are the color of his skin, and his markings are the color of mine. So we are not exactly identical but we still have similarities. But his hair is red and his eyes are green and mine are yellow and blue so that is definately different."

Azurial smiled. There was a tone in her voice that said she really cared about her brother. "By the sounds of it, sounds like you guys are close. You speak highly of your brother. Perhaps I will meet him too someday." Azurial stretched and stood. "Would you like to join me for a swim, Leanna?" Azurial asked, wanting to do something with her. "I am an excellent swimmer as I spend a good bit of time in the water. I won't let you get hurt." he promised as he waited to see if she would join him. He wanted to spend time with her as she fascinated him. Besides, she was friendly and he needed to get out there more and spend more time with others rather than just himself.

Leanna laughed. "I used to swim when I was little. My brother loved to play pool games and I got dunked or pushed in quite a bit so learned to be a strong swimmer thankfully. Sometimes the water was freezing and at other times the water was nice. With the waterfall, I assume the water is probably cold from how fast the water is moving?" she asked. She wanted to go swimming but wasn't sure she wanted to freeze her butt off in ice cold water. Plus the current was really fast due to the waterfall so she would have to adjust because she had never swam in water that had more than a weak current. "How fast is the current?" she figured it was better to ask now than when she got in.

Azurial laughed as well. He could see the worry on her face and was glad that he knew that she really had nothing to worry about. "Do not worry. First off, despite the waterfall, I believe there are what you call hotsprings nearby so the water tends to stay nice and warm. I understand how it can be annoying to swim in freezing water. And also, some areas have fast rapids and some have slower rapids. I will show you to an area where the rapids are slower. I wouldn't throw anyone into fast rapids immediately. So want to go swimming?" he asked and walked around a little.

Leanna stretched and stood. "You seem to understand my concerns as well as my brother. So yes, I think I would like to go swimming. And I can tell you, I am very glad that your water is warm. I would have a hard time getting in otherwise. So, you live here I assume, so know the area. I guess that means you get to lead the way as you know where all the hidden black holes and bad areas are." Leanna laughed and walked a little to get the stiffness out of her legs from laying down for a while. "By the way, your home is beautiful." she said as she looked around her at the flowers and trees as well as the water.

Azurial nodded. "Yes, even if I do not hang around others often, I do like to observe. And yes this is my home and I am glad you think it is beautiful. Like I said, it is near where I was left as a child. I have always loved the flowers and trees, the wildlife here. I found no reason to leave when I could find whatever I wanted here. Well, how about we get going. We have a little walking to do before we get to an area that I know you will be comfortable swimming in. I am sure you won't mind a short walk?" he asked as he turned in the direction that they needed to head in.

Leanna nodded. "No, I do not mind a walk at all. In fact, I often enjoy taking nice walks. So where is this spot you are taking me too?" she asked as she began to follow him and look around at the things around her. There were flowers of all sorts of colors and sizes, bushes bursting with berries, trees filled with nuts. She could see how easy it would be to make this place a home. Not only did Azurial have a home, but food, water, shelter, all that he needs to have to survive. She liked the area and planned on coming back some more if Azurial wouldn't mind. Perhaps bring her brother with her to meet this Taestysia that looked like the waterfall he loved. "It's beautiful." she said again, some awe in her voice.

Azurial turned his head to look at her and smiled. "Again I thank you. Like I said before, I love my home. And in a way, my home loves me. It provides me with food sheler, water, and security as I can hide behind the waterfall in the cave there, or even in the waterfall as I blend right in. Anyway, I am taking you to a spot where wildflowers grow rampant. There is a deep enough pool there where you can easily jump or dive in but not too deep where its hard to stay afloat and its has a really nice temperature. Not too hot or close to the hot springs but not too cold as right next to the waterfall. It has a few big trees that keep the sun from becoming unbearable hot too. And its even more beautiful than the spot by the waterfall." he explained and picked up the pace a little.

Leanna laughed. "You seem to know everything about this place. So I guess you have been here since the beginning then. But I can tell you what I see. You really love your home and it really is the spot for you. In short, you have found your paradise. It must be nice to know that you belong." As she followed Azurial her eyes widened. There were colors everywhere and in all sorts of shades and beauty. He led her to the pool and her eyes went everywhere. The water was a clear blue and when she stuck her paw in she could tell it was just the right temperature. She laughed again and smiled at him. "You know what, this really is perfect. I could fall in love with this place, that is, if I am not already." She could hear the birds chirping above their heads clearly and closed her eyes in pleasure.
