On a well-traveled road along the coastline of the inner sea on the Threshold side, sits a large two-story inn. The first floors seems to be made from large fitted stones while the second floor, stables and outhouse are built from sturdy-looking wood. Although weathered by many years of storms and weather, the place stands firm and offers steady business to weary travelers looking for a warm meal or a place to rest for the night.
At all hours of day, at least a few horses and patrons can be found inside enjoying a mug of ale or a steaming plate of mutton roast, and on colder days they can be found trading stories near the massive fireplace on the north wall of the establishment. Although clean and well kept, the place does not have the myriad trophies and items associated with an inn. There are no huge swords with a story over the mantelpiece, nor does the innkeeper keep strange skulls on the counter from mysterious creatures killed in the past. This inn is modest and boasts no story besides simple success at managing a good place to rest.
The place is staffed with, contrary to traditions, not a fat and balding innkeeper but a middle-aged man, tall and well-built from hours of toil and work, sun-tanned and rugged from various manual work done in the past. His features mark him as a regular East-living man, as do the two serving girls and the two cooks. At times, a younger man in his teens serves as a stablehand for those clients with horses that need tending.
And so it is, as dusk slowly settles in, does the inn come into view to those who need a place to rest their weary feet from a long day's walk.
[[OOC: Just a random inn thread that has NO link with any other official thread. What occurs in the inn, stays in the inn and remains apart from your character sheet. Use this place to idle time, work on your writting and/or roleplay, mingle with the other players. Basic rules apply here as well, no god-modding, playing other's characters, etc. I volunteer to handle the staff, although if it's a menial task/request or something feel free to just make them do it as long as it is resonable.]]
