Silentstep
Silentstep quietly padded toward the apprentice den, using the quiet step he got his name for. My first day of having an apprentice Silentstep thought, I know, I'll play a trick on him He crept into the den, and loomed over his sleeping apprentice. "WAKE UP!! THERE'S A FOX IN CAMP!!!!" he yoweled at the top of his lungs.

Starpaw bolted from his moss padded bed ,if their was a fox i'd fight it of myself that way i might impress my mentor he thought he leaped outside all Starpaw saw was an empty entrance way "fox wat fox?" he yelled to no one in particular
,somone must be pulling my leg but who? he pondered

Duskshade
Duskshade was just getting ready to eat a mouse when she saw Starpaw leap outside and say something about a fox. Normally, this would throw her into a state of battle, but she knew his mentor was the joker known as Silentstep. Shaking it off as the warrior's antic to his new apprentice, Dusshade continued eating her mouse.

Silentstep
Silenstep padded outside to find Starpaw gazing around him trying to find the fox. Silentstep couldn't help it. He burst out laughing. "You... Actually... Fell... For....It!!!" he gasped between laughs. , boy I'm am going to have a blast with this apprentice he thought, still laughing and trying to catch his breath.

Frostpaw
Frostpaw rose sleepily to the sounds of laughter outside the apprentice den. Silentstep, she thought sleepily. She might as well see if it really was funny or just Silenstep. She rose and shook the moss from her pelt and padded out the den. Sure enough, there was Silentpaw practically rolling on the ground with laughter. Poor Starpaw, a new apprentice, he probably was going to have to get used to this, being Silentstep's new apprentice she thought.

Darkclaw
Darkclaw rose, eager to once more prove his worth to Plaguestar. He began organizing dawn patrols and hunting parties before Plaguestar had waken. Darkclaw left with the last hunting party to leave, hungry for the kill and the warm feel of prey between his teeth. He caught a lizard and a couple mice before returning to camp. The freshprey pile was looking large already. Hopefully Plaguestar would be happy when he woke. He was very impatient and this might make him happier Darkclaw thought

Duskshade
Having finished her small meal quickly, Duskshade got up and padded over to Starpaw and Silentstep. "If you're finished playing jokes, maybe you two would like to go on dawn patrol with me?" she asked, surpressing a laugh.
((im assuming it's dawn since Starpaw was sleeping, but please correct me if I'm wrong))

as Starpaw stared at his mentor he felt ashamed that he had fallen for joke by an old geezer like Silentstep this was sertaintly going to be the big news around camp this morning Starpaw hoped that he would go hunting that morning now more than ever that way he might make up for his mousebrain response to Silentstep's cries

Silentstep
"Yes. we can go. Thank you for the offer Duskshade, I think my apprentice is awake enough to handle it now. I've never seen a cat get up that fast, made me wonder if it was just my little joke or if a bee bit his butt." Silentstep meowed. He looked over at Frostpaw and saw her sitting there watching. "Frostpaw, Your mentor's awake now, maybe you could go on a hunting party, the fresh prey pile is looking a little meager," Silentstep called out to her.
Frostpaw
Frostpaw looked outside the warriors den, and sure enough there was Brightclaw padding out sleepily into the sun. Probably awaken like her by Silentsteps antics. Frostpaw bounded toward the warrior's den and stopped short in front of her mentor. "Could we go hunting? There's already a dawn patrol set up." she mewed excitedly to her still half asleep mentor.
Brightclaw
Brightclaw shook herself awake so that she could answer her apprentice, how is Frostpaw so perky in the morning she wondered. "Yes, we can, I suppose. Was there something extremely funny that woke me up?" She asked her apprentice, but then seeing Silentstep and a bewildered looking Starpaw, she mewed "Never mind, I already know the answer"

Plaguestar wandered out of his den and looked around the camp. He saw that the fresh kill pile was pretty big for it being so early. He slowly wandered over to it and picked out a fairly large mouse and began eating. Hmmm, where could everyone be? he thought looking around the camp. Only the elders queens and kits wandered around the camp. "I guess Darkclaw already got the patrols out." He thought aloud with a sigh. Nothing happens around here. Its been moons since the last good fight. With a final sigh Plaguestar jumped up on the highrock, and laid down. He was eager for a fight. Considering his size no cat would usually dare to even "accidentally" wander onto his territory. Atleast his clan was safe... for now.

"Thank you Silentstep, I almost forgot about a hunting patrol. Okay, let's go then." Duskshade went out of the camp without waiting for Silentstep and Starpaw. She knew they would catch up.

Moonface
The morning looked very peaceful. Moonface was glad to be out of camp in search of herbs. She had been up with the sun looking for more mousebile. The elders seemed to be picking up more ticks than usual recently. Ahorrible scent hit her nose, and Moonface knew she found some mousebile. Satisfed with the amount she, now had the medicine cat trotted back to camp and stored the mousebile away.

Silentstep
Silentstep followed Duskshade eager to be out and maybe play some more tricks on Starpaw. He was a good apprentice, as far as apprentices go, but boy was he fun to mess with.
Frostpaw
Frostpaw padded after Brightclaw, who lead the way out of camp. Eager to be hunting she bounded ahead. Quickly listening, and looking, she spotted a large rabbit, near a rock. He couldn't see or smell her. Forstpaw gave a quick flick of the tail to inform Brightclaw that she was hunting. She snuck around till she was very close to the rabbit. She pounced and missed. Quickly giving chase to the rabbit, Frostpaw caught it when it stumbled over a large rock. Dragging it back to Brightclaw, she dropped the body and began digging a small hole to hide it in while she caught more prey.
Brightclaw
Brightclaw was impressed. Frostpaw would almost be ready to be a warrior. She had been an apprentice for a while now and her training was coming along rather well. "Well done, the clan will be well fed because of you," she purred
