Morph felt a bit like a pack mule, but considering the reason, he didn't mind very much. He had his guitar slung over one shoulder, the few books he owned stuffed in the outer pockets of the case, and an armful of blankets, some from Mir, and some pilfered, under his left arm. Mir had clasped him on the shoulder as he was leaving and looked him seriously on the eye. “Be wise, and be happy. I’ll always be here for you if you need anything.” The bruise he had gotten the other day was healing quite nicely under the poultice Ara had made, but it was still a bit tender. This hardly dampened his spirits, though, and his smiled cheerfully as he made his way to Ara.

Ara was gathering the few things she had in the tree she was living under. She had kept some stuff in a small hole in the side of it. She looked at the tree and smiled touching it. "Thank you tree for being so good to me." she said with a smile as she looked around again for Morph. She was quite excited to go and move in with him now. She pushed her curly hair back and looked at the sky and smiled. "Today is going to be a wonderful day. I'm looking forward to this, life with my Morpha." She said happily as she spun about with a giggle.

Morph saw Ara touch the tree and smiled. One of the things that he had really found to like about her was her love of nature. He stopped and thought of all the other things he loved about her. her dancing, of course, her smile, the way she carried herself so gracefully, the way she's always so full of energy... Just thinking about it made morph feel warm inside and he felt so blessed to share the same feelings with one so wonderful as Ara. When she stepped away from the tree he approached her and held out his free hand to her. "Hey, love. Ready to go?" Shifting his items to a more secure position, she smiled at her, his eyes twinkling.

Ara smiled at him and ran over, taking his hand and pulling herself in close to him. She snuggled his neck, purring happily. "I'm ready darling. Do you want to start down at the creak where we washed the other day?" she asked as she picked up her stuff and took his hand as they walked. She purred happily the whole time, just happy to have her scruffy man with her. "Are you excited darling?" she asked looking up at her Morpha and smiling happily.

Morph purred back and kissed her many times. "Sounds like a good place you start." he grinned happily. "You bet I'm excited; I could hardly sleep, and that's saying something. Did you sleep alright last night?" Morph though back to a few hours ago. Normally able to sleep under most conditions, morph was awake for most of the night, impatiently waiting for the sun to rise. Walking with Ara to the rock from a few days ago, Morph set his guitar and the blankets down and looked around, rubbing his bruise gently. "So... we're looking for a wide-ish tree."

Ara smiled and looked around as she nodded. "Yes something nice and wide. If your ok with heights then the higher the better." she said before turning and kissing him happily. "And i slept ok. I was quite lonely with out you. I missed you so much." she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him, holding it a little longer then normal. "Did you miss me too?" she asked smiling at him as she played with his hair.

"Hmm..." Morph smiled and kissed her back, wraping his arms around her waist. "I missed you too. I couldn't wait for the sun to rise." He was getting a lot more comfortable being more intimate since the first shock a few days ago. Morph wondered if it was because of the happy reality that they were really were moving to a new place together, or if it was because she was getting more comfortable with him, or a combination there of. "I'm OK with heights." He murmured, still hugging her gently. He looked around over her shoulder, kissing her lightly and purring.

Ara smiled and snuggled his neck, kissing it softly a few times. "Good." She said. She had never thought she would feel like this. She always saw people feeling like this in the movies she watched but she never thought she would really feel like this. She was so happy to have him though. she took his hand and walked along the creak. "Well lets see. Theres a few over there on the other side of the grass that look good. I see one on the other end that might be good if that hole is big enough." she said looking around for any sign of a big hole. "Do those look good? And do you see any more that look good." she asked looking at him with a smile as she held his hand tighter.

Morph looked at each of the tree’s trees as she pointed them out. "Well, I think we want a big enough area inside and outside of the tree so we can have options depending on where we want to sleep. Let’s look at that one with the hole in it first." They walked over to the tree Ara pointed out. Morph climbed up the trunk once they got to it. The branches created a big enough space, but the hole didn’t seem to be deep enough. “I dunno, dear, it doesn’t look quite right. Come up here and tell me what you think.”

Ara bounded over to him and looked around the tree and looked up at the branches. She climbed up the tree and looks in the hole. She jumps in and moves around a bit looking at it and imagining where she would put things. "Yeah i think it is a little small. Which is sad cause i love the branches!" she said as she climbed back out and jumped down looking about for another tree that might be better for them. "Something big...and pretty. With lots of room to expand." she said as she played with her hair.

Morph nodded and looked about the tree. “Yea, it is a nice space.” He hopped down beside her and wrapped his arm around her waist again, kissing her cheek. “Well, we do have a lot of choices.” He said, gesturing widely to the trees around them. “Let’s see; we want a big enough space inside and out, room to build and grow into, a nice tree, preferably near the water, enough shade… anything I’m forgetting dear?” Morph looked over at Ara with a smile on his face. Still feeling so very happy, he kissed Ara again, trees momentarily forgotten.

Ara smiled and kissed him back as she took his hand and looked around. "Well theres a river on the other side of the hill there that has some very large trees around it. What do you say we check over there?" she asked as she snuggled against him and purred as she made sure there wasn't anything else near them that looked nice.

Morph purred happily and nuzzled her. “Sounds like a good place to look.” Heading back to their pile of belongings they had set down by the rock, Morph picked up his guitar and the blankets, then slung Ara’s pack over his other shoulder. Grinning over at Ara, he blew air through his cheeks, imitating a horse. “Lead on, my love.” Morph grinned over at her. Yup, Morph laughed to himself. pack mule. Looking over at Ara, Morph’s heart sang so loudly and lovingly. Totally worth it, though. Humming happily, he shifted the items around to a more secure position.

Ara laughed and reached over and took her small pack. "I can carry this for you, don't worry about it." she said with a smile as she kissed his cheek and walked towards the river looking for someplace nice as she walked. "I love this area! Don't you?" she asked with a smile as she spun around in a patch of sunlight smiling. She looked over at him and smirked playfully.

Morph smiled and looked around at the area. The stream burbled quietly in the background, adding to the natural peace of the area, and the dappled light coming though the trees was soft and calm. "This does seem like it would be a nice place to live." He said, nodding. He smiled happily as he watched her dance in the golden sunlight. There's a song in there... Maybe I'll write it someday soon.
"I love the idea that this place could be our home. OUR home." He smiled delightedly as he repeated the phrase, savoring the joy he felt. "It'll take me a while to get used to saying that." He chuckled.
