I Solemnly Swear There is something I noticed while bringing up my external and loading up the later seasons of Xena, while watching the ides of march, livia, and a friend in need and several other episodes.
Where anyone close to Gabrielle has been injured, it's that she goes into a berserker mode, I wonder if she was supposed to be a berserker like character through out the series she sure did have the running emotions of one.
So, what do you guys think? Do you all think that our favorite Warrior Bard is a berserker?~ Aliyssa ~ That I, Am Up To No Good

Well, I wouldn't say that she is a berserker necessarily, but she definitely goes berserk quite a bit. I don't know though, its interesting to think about.

I Solemnly Swear It really is when you think about it, I can't help myself but to think about it anymore when I watch those scenes over and over again and when she snaps out of it, it's suddenly like she realizes what she had just been doing.
Like in the ides of march when she stared at her blood covered dagger and let it fall to the ground, berserkers kinda go into a trance at that moment and thats what seemed to happen to her character when she got really furious.~ Aliyssa ~ That I, Am Up To No Good

I love when Gabrielle goes berserk. 3nodding I've watched that bit of Greater Good, like a thousand times. xd

I think its because, when those things happen she is just overrun by emotion. Therefore she is driven to fight. Thats how I always looked at it. But I think you could be right on this. I never really thought about it..
