I do not mind DC and absolutely LOVE Batman and Flash, but I <333333333 Marvel.

Honestly the only way to figure marvel out is to pick a character or team and RUN LIKE THE ******** WIND WITH IT. Because everything in Marvel is interconnected and EVERYTHING HAS A ******** SPINOFF and if you read the same series for awhile you're GOING to run into a crossover without any effort at all.

I started with X-Men and was reading uncanny from the very start, and then skipped ahead because the first set of uncanny SUCKS, then read a lot of the second set of uncanny, astonishing (I LOVE astonishing x-men so much), and then worked on crossovers. God I've read so many crossovers. I've also read a lot of Deadpool, Cable and Deadpool, and specific Wolverine comics. And shitloads of others I can't even list. Oh and then M-Day and all the M-Day aftermath comics for the x-men.

you can't try to figure marvel out because it will swallow you whole. But I love how big and connected it is, and eventually you just accept that there is no actual reason to figure marvel's '616' out and just let it be ******** up. blargh I hate the term 616.

I've read some Marvel. Mostly spiderman, some Xmen, ultamate spiderman, some civil war stuff, and some cross over stuff. 3nodding
Thouigh the only marvel comic books i own are the ones when they cross over with DC.

I like what if comics too, though i only read "what if civil war", since tht's the only one the libary had.

What ******** "What If" books. They take a situation and then MAKE IT THE WORST ******** THING possible, disregarding continuity.

So, apparently, Black Bolt whispering "No" can kill the Sentry and Doctor Strange? Sentry, who can ******** go TOE TO TOE WITH THE GODDAMN HULK, and Dr. Strange who by all means should be ******** IMMORTAL? The Sorcerer Supreme who REPRESENTS THE ENTIRE ******** UNIVERSE? Then again, Marvel's always be blatantly unsure of what role Dr. Strange plays. One day he's their dues ex machina, saving the baby in the manger, the next day he gets beaten up by a nameless villain cause apparently immortality works both ways (and by both ways, I mean doesn't work at all).

Admittedly, I've only actually read the "What If" for the Civil War book (which also includes "What If Caiera the Oldstrong had survived ... instead of the Hulk" story) and read the rest via TV Tropes and Wikipedia. And I'm aware that not all stories are as maddeningly depressing as the above.

But I still ******** hate it.

I mean, I'm already tired of 'em breaking the power-scale in continuity in the normal comics. Do I really want 'em to break it even more in the What If series?

I mean, for a guy who's supposed to eat planets to save the world from destruction and all that s**t, Galactus is pretty weaksauce.

And what's the deal with the ******** Red Hulk? Hey, look, it's a Hulk that's RED! And he's beating up ******** Godmode Sue ******** ******** ******** ******** ********>
