Roleplay Rules & Guidelines
Please remember to follow the rules and guidelines when roleplaying. It is necessary that all roleplayers obey these rules so there will be less confusion and everyone can have a good time.
Tlvdatsi strongly recommend all roleplayers to reading the Daisy Code!
Rules
1. No god-modding. That means that you cannot make your Datsi better, or higher in power, than anyone elses.
2. Please no chatspeak, extreme cursing, spamming, etc. This makes roleplaying no fun for others.
3. Use the same tense the starter of the roleplay used. If they started with past tense, do not roleplay in present tense.
4. Treat others the way you want to be treated, be respectful and kind.
5. Include everyone. Try not to make anyone feel left out, give them the chance to join in!
6. Stay in character while you're roleplaying. That means that if your Datsi is shy, don't go bouncing off the walls.
7. If chatting out of character, use double brackets (( text )). Please take extensive discussions to the main thread.
8. Remember that in Tahlequah, all people are humans. You may play your avatar, but no special abilities or powers may be used.
9. Cosplay Datsis are not the characters that they are cosplaying. They may look similar in appearance, but their background and history can be however you want to make it.
10. Do not use any magical powers or special abilities that your Datsis do not have.
11. Young Datsis (anything younger than the adult stage) are not allowed to find mates in roleplaying as they are too young.
12. If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable during roleplay, please contact a Guild Mod (anyone on the crew). They will be happy to help you.
13. Follow Gaia's ToS.
14. Please keep it PG13!
Guidelines
When creating roleplay threads, please label them using the following system. Unlabeled threads will be deleted.
[MPR] This is the main roleplay thread. It is created by the roleplay manager, and will follow the Tlvdatsi story. Anyone can join in if they want.
[ORP] This is an open roleplay. Everyone is invited so please step in and start roleplaying!
[PRP] This is a private roleplay. It is by invite only so please do not post unless you were invited by the thread starter.
All Tahlequah villagers live in huts. If you would like a hut, you may start it in the Huts Subforums. Huts are like journals, where you can keep a roleplay log, and also information about your human character and each of your Datsis. Feel free to decorate your hut however you like, but remember only one hut per person. Do not create a separate one for each Datsi you own.
