Ok I'm being over dramatic lol but I do have something to tell you. Just watched nascar now... and found some interesting news...as you know Dan Wheldon meet Dale Jr. earlier this week at Indy.( for those of you who don't know since Dan was let go he joined with Panther racing which has national guard as its sponsor as well..it was a publicity day lol) ... Dale was to take a two car seat run with dan and to learn about the indy world... Where he OPENLY admitted that he would jump to a full time ride in the irl..or at least a chance at the 500 ...(lol someone please get him Cale Yarbourgh and Donnie Allison's number so they can stop him...we have seen this before...it never ends well) Jr has had such a bad season till where he is even thinking of switching series xd . What do you think...should jr even be thinking about this..or do you feel that he should consider it...Panther racing has talked about going back to a two car team... stare ... with Dan at their flagship #4 car...mmmm...

I think it would be a good move for the IRL, but a bad move for Dale JR.

I have said before and will say again, i don't care if junior was in Nascar or not, he hasn't been good in years.Whatever magic he had on restrictor plate races is gone.

Im totally with you. I dont think he would do good over there but hes not doin good over here so what the heck. And Nascar is not goin to change their schedule just for Jr. Hes not good. And they wouldnt do it for anybody else either.

I dunno. I think considering the still huge fan base Jr still commands, I think NASCAR needs him...at least until everyone finally gets sick of his losing and switches to another driver =P

Anyway, I don't think it really comes down to money and publicity. We all know that any publicity, good or bad, is good publicity. Having a hold on publicity means sponsors. And the name Dale Earnhardt Jr. can attract sponsors even finishing 43rd every week (well maybe not that bad).

Its still bad...fox,tnt, abc/espn are suffering heavily because of it... everytime he begins to falter it shows heavily on the ratings.. hell look at racebuddy..whenever he begins to fall you see a sea of red disappear ...until kyle does something they don't like.

Your right about that... today nascar's 3 money pool drivers are Kasey Khane, Kyle Busch, and Jeff Gordon...

Actually to be honest..although Johnson is the best in terms of the race winnings pool... he isn't much a fan grabber..(lol that may change with that new video he did xd ), Too many..he is considered the least popular multi-champion in nascar, although not hated..he isn't really liked either... he ..is just there lol. As for Tony...he goes back and forth..in 05 when he was on his meds he was both liked and disliked for the mellow change... but when he stopped taking them after fall new Hampshire that year..he went back to his old rowdy self..and was again hated and liked... He is defiantly in the current top 5 popular drivers though.

ya. its weird cause joey is like the most popular right now. My friends who know nothing about Nascar know about Joey Logano.
Everybody knows about Sr. not necessarily Jr.
Kyle Busch is known as the bad boy, and Kasey is known as the pretty boy.
Jeff Gordon is the veteran that has been around forever so everybody knows him.
Tony Stewart has actually faded into the background now even though he has been winning races.

He got on his meds and lost his edge...A lot of garage talk is weather or not he should use them
