Ekun had found the perfect napping spot. It was a little 'scoop' in the rock on top of her Mama's den, where the sun warmed the rock JUST enough and the ocean spray didn't join the wonderful ocean wind. Of course...others could get to it, if they wanted. But for now...well, Ekun was happily enjoying a little alone time. She didn't really get it much, or want it much...but now was one of those rare times where both coincided. And so she'd made her way up and... Napped. That half-aware, half-zoning trance-nap cats of all sorts were wont to do. And she just enjoyed the background noise of the growing pride...the pride she'd helped come up with and create...Her home...

Today was truly peaceful, he'd slipped from mother's den to enjoy the sweet, soft sun upon his steadily growing young body. With every day he grew larger and stronger, he would be a big strong fighter one day to protect his siblings and fight off any threat that would come to his home. However for now, he would enjoy the sunshine.
As he made his way around another den, he couldn't help but briefly look out over the ocean and crinkle his nose in some slight distaste. He didn't see what Sewelo saw in the ocean. It tasted awful and it always made his fur seem a tonne heavier.
He still looked out over ocean as he scrambled ontop of the other den, the perfect spot to soak up the sun, but as he moved onto it his paw bumped into something warm...and furry. A squeak escaped him and he jumped back in slight fear as his eyes wandered over the figure with a blink or two.
"..Uhh...hey."

Ekun blinked and looked up as she was bumped. She was a little surprised someone came up to her napping spot. "Hullo~" She was friendly as ever, since the other reminded her of Sewelo a bit, and they were in the pridal lands. Bad Stuff didn't come this far in. She sat up and shook herself a bit, to shake off the drowsy-ness. "I dun think I've met you before. I'm Ekundayo!"
Despite the other feline's similarities to Sewelo in overall build...his colors was rather different. And he had spots. Nothing like the spots she and her sibs and Mama Phye'li had. These spots were...squigglier. And there were more of 'em.

Needless he was slightly suprised at such a pleasent greeting for bumping into the napping female, ears flicked forward as he blinked his curious orbs at her for a few moments. His nose twitching as he took in her scent to see if he knew her at all, nope, she shared no familiar scent with anyone he knew. Oh well.
After a moment he straightened up himself and sat down, looking over her as he cleared his throat softly.
"Greetings to you," He started politely. "My name's Asphamet."
He was always the odd one out, he didn't even call his mother 'mama' or 'mommy', it was always mother or something much more formal and much more grown up in a sense.
As he looked at his paw he grimaced slightly before offering her an apologetic expression.
"Sorry for bumping into you, Ekundayo...didn't know someone else was up here."

Ekun tilted her head, curious at his behavior. She was well-behaved...but this boy definitely reminded her of Usiku. He was REALLY well behaved. And then she smiled. "No worries!" She scooted a bit, her want for 'alone time' gone with the new face. She LOVED meeting new faces within the pride! Outside the pride...she was still leery.
"I figured someone might come up here someday. It's nice that it was a new face and not a sibling! So what brings you up here Asphamet?" Everyone had a story. Even within the pride...or especially within the pride, since they were growing so fast...

Blinking from where he sat so formally, he watched Ekundayo and batted his tail gently against the stone. She seemed very nice. Very sensible and polite. And even scooted over for him to which he delicately bowed his head and moved onto the slab next to her, but remained sat up for the sake of her being a lady.
Glancing over her as she asked her question, he rolled his shoulders and felt the heat absorbing into his fur. It felt lovely. So warm and comfy.
"I came up here for the sun, it's a perfect day to sun your fur after a long night...yourself...?" He'd always came up here and had never seen her. So to see her now made him...curious.
