I have recently read Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull
Many critics said that the series rivaled Harry Potter.

Hmm.. a dilemma. I love Fablehaven but Hrry Potter is so special to me. Fablehaven is amazing and Harry Potter is overated but I can't choose between them.

Never heard of Fablehaven before, but I am out of the 'new book loop' it seems. Looked it up, and as soon as my foot heals up I will nab me a copy. Thanks for showing it to me even if that was not you're plan ninja

I personal feel that fablehaven is NOTHING like Harry at all.
Harry Potter is an orphan boy who finds out that he is a wizard. He has magical adventures to save the day he was the victim his entire life
FH is about two children who go to their grandparents house and break the rules. When they break the rules they realize that fables are real and because they break the rules more and more they continue to get into trouble until they are able to fix the problems that they caused in the first place.
