Chapter One
"What do you want?" Hyde said as he looked over at Gackt. Gackt blinked. "What, can't a person stare at you? You don't really seem to mind when..." Tetsu walked into the room and Gackt cut his sentence short. "When what? What were you saying Gackt?" Gackt looked at the ceiling and back at Tetsu. "Nothing, I didn't say anything..." Hyde noticed that Gackt's cheecks were getting a little pink. "Gackt, are you okay? You seem a little..." "I'm fine. Tetsu, I need to talk to Hyde alone. Can you come back later?" Tetsu looked at Gackt strangely. "But weren't you just...Yeah, okay. But I'll be back later." He looked at Hyde, who was staring at the floor, then turned and walked out of the room. "Are you sure you're okay?" Hyde put his hand up to his mouth and looked at Gackt. "Yes, I'm fine. I just..." Gackt looked over at the door, walked over to it, and closed it. "I just need to talk to you." "What do you mean? Are you sure you're okay? You are seriously starting to creep me out. I know Tetsu noticed it also." Hyde looked at Gackt and put his hand down. "I just really need to talk to you." "You already said that! Look, I need get some sleep. So, can you please leave?" Gackt looked at Hyde strangely and smiled. "Yes, I will let you sleep..." He then put his hands behind his head and walked towards the door. "Thank you." Hyde heard the door open and close. Hyde sighed and walked over to his bed. "This day has been really stressful..." He laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. "Why did he say 'Thank you?'"
Hyde's bedroom door opened and a shadowy figure walked in. When it saw Hyde, it whispered "Oh, Hyde. You are so beautiful. Whether you are awake or asleep..." It leaned over and brushed its lips against Hyde's. "Wow. Your lips are so soft...If only you knew how badly I liked you..." The shadowy figure stood upright, turned, and walked out the door.
Tetsu walked past Hyde's room and noticed the door was open. He could've sworn the door was closed the last time he checked. "What the...Why is the door open...?" He walked in the room. "Hyde, are you there? Your door was open and I just wanted to see if you were alright. Hyde?" Tetsu walked towards Hyde's bed and saw him lying in it. "Hyde..." He looked at Hyde intently and realized he was sleeping. Tetsu laughed. "How can you sleep at a time like this...?" He stretched out his arms and placed one hand gently on Hyde's head. "Wow, your hair is soft...How come I never noticed until now? If only...No. I can't. I won't..." Tetsu turned around quickly and walked out of the bedroom, closing the door.

The next day, L'Arc~en~Ciel had a concert, and Gackt was the opening act. He sang of memories flooding his mind, and how a certain person couldn't let him sleep. He sang of a beautiful person, with hair that just won't stop shining. A smile that just won't quit. And the most beautiful personality that he has ever known. He wishes they would call...If only this person were real. When he finished his song, Hyde approached him and told him the song was beautiful. "Thank you, my dear friend." Gackt smiled, bowed, and walked away. The band started playing "Jiyuu eno shoutai" and Hyde walked out on stage. "Bousou eno yuwaku jyutai nite saiaku..." Gackt watched from a distance and sang along. "...Konnanimo sobani itemo tooku, Nee dareka jiyuu eno shoutai wo! Aitai noni itsumo umaku ikanai, Demo negau kyoo kosowa neraiwo sadame, Sukimawo nukete egao no kanatae!" The song ended and the band took bow. They walked offstage and saw Gackt standing there with a smile on his face. "That was great, guys! You have "Twinkle, Twinkle" next, and then "Lover Boy." Yukihiro looked at him with a look of confusion. "How do you know this? What have you been doing?" Gackt put up his hands and said, "Calm down Yukihiro, I just looked at the schedule. I didn't do anything wrong, did I?" Yukihiro looked over at Hyde who shook his head. "No Gackt, you didn't do anything wrong." Hyde smiled and hugged Gackt. "Gackt, thank you for your help. We couldn't have done it without you." Ken rolled his eyes. "Yeah right! We actually COULD HAVE done it without him! Come on, guys. Let's get ready for the next song." Ken, Tetsu, and Yukihiro walked away. Hyde and Gackt were alone, again. "Gackt, don't listen to them. They're just mad that you know what's going on. I'll tell them to cool off."
Hyde walked in the dressing room the rest of the band was in. "What is your problem? What do you have against Gackt?" Ken looked up at Hyde, "Nothing. We have nothing against Gackt. It's you always defending him whenever he's guilty of something! So yes, the problem is with you." Yukihiro got up from the chair he was sitting in and faced Ken. "Ken," Yukihiro placed his hands on Ken's shoulders. "We can't be having this. You know this always happens whenever Gackt is here. It's like we never existed..." He put his hands down and walked away. "THAT'S IT!" Ken cried. "Existence! That will be our new song! Hyde...I'm going to need your help. Can you please help?" Hyde looked at Ken and smiled. "Yes, I will help you. I know you can make the music. All right let's go!" The band got ready for the next song, and walked out of the room.
Gackt looked up as L'Arc~en~Ciel walked towards the stage. "Hello, are you all okay?" Tetsu smiled and put his hat on. "Yes, we're fine. How are you today?" Gackt looked surprised. "Oh, I am fine. Good luck to all of you." Gackt looked at his watch and ran off towards the back door. Hyde turned towards the band with a look of confusion on is face. "Well, that was odd. He's never done that before. I wonder if everything is alright..." Yukihiro looked at Hyde with slight frustration. "Let's go! The show's going to start without us if we don't hurry up!" "Sorry! Let's go!" Hyde gasped. The band rushed onto the stage. "Sorry about that!" Hyde said to the audience. "We were having trouble finding our outfits!" Tetsu shook his head and mumbled to himself, "Yeah, sure." One girl in the crowd screamed, "YOU COULD'VE COME OUT NAKED!" Hyde laughed and signaled to the band to start the song. "Yumewa hakanaki yumewa, Mada sonomeni netsuwo tsutaeteiruno? Sorani konoteo imasorae todokanaimama kazashitemiyoo..." Cheers from the crowd emerged and pretty soon Ken was doing his solo. "Yeah! Koboreteyuku hoshino namidawa kieteyukukedo, Hora matahitotsu umarikuru, Kimino sobade bokuno kokoroni ima kizamikomu, Subeteno aide lost yourself in happiness. Get it on! Get it on! Get it on! Nothing to fear. Get it on! Get it on! Get it on! Nothing to fear." "L'Arc! L'Arc!" The crowd screamed their name. Hyde looked over where Gackt was before, but he wasn't there. Hyde signaled the band to play the next song, and the song began. "...Dream on till night, be sailin' on your life. Tonight, want your blood..." There wasn't any dancing like N'SYNC or Backstreet Boys, because L'Arc~en~Ciel played their own instruments. All that was needed was the music they played and their voices. "...Don't be shy, show your love! Show your love! Don't be ignorant, show your colors! Show your colors! Don't let me know your lie! Your lie! Stay tonight till the night! Next night! Tonight, shaking! Tonight, looking for the blood!..."
When the song ended, the band left the stage, and put their instruments away in the dressing room. Except for the drums, they will be taken care of later. They ran outside of the stadium to sign autographs. The band got onto the tour bus and Hyde realized that Gackt was nowhere to be found. "Hold on, where is Gackt?" Hyde asked the rest of the band members. Mumbles of "I don't know" came from them. "Well, 'I don't know' won't get me very far! I'm going to go look for him!" Hyde called Gackt's phone, but he didn't answer. Hyde ran into the dressing room, but he wasn't there. He looked all over the stadium, but Gackt was nowhere to be found. Finally, Hyde gave up and got back on the bus. Tetsu asked if he had found Gackt, but Hyde told him no. Hyde walked into his room, and to his surprise, there was Gackt. "Gackt! You had me so worried! Where were you here this whole time?" Gackt looked at Hyde and smiled. "What are you talking about? I was here the whole time." Hyde started to examine Gackt. He realized Gackt was in his bed, covered up by his blanket, and he has no shirt on. "Gackt! Are you naked?? What are you doing?" Gackt looked down at the floor. "I'm sorry. I was sleeping. Only my shirt is off, see?" He stood up onto the floor, the blanket falling off, showing only his shirt was off. Hyde looked at the blanket. "I see. I'm sorry." He called out to the others, "Are the drums on yet?" Yukihiro cried, "Yes" and Hyde nodded. "Let's get this show on the road then!" The bus started and Hyde sat down.

Night fell onto the day, and soon everyone was falling asleep one by one. Gackt sat in the chair, wide awake. Hyde tried to fight the sleep, but he ended up losing. Gackt watched Hyde fall asleep, along with the rest of the band members. "Hyde..." He whispered. Gackt stood up and walked towards Hyde's bed. "You truly are beautiful..." He whispered again. He then bent over and brushed his lips against Hyde's. Hyde's eyes opened and he saw Gackt very close. "WHAT THE--??" Gackt shot upright and turned bright red. "Umm..." He ran out of the room. Hyde stood up and ran out of the room after Gackt. "Gackt! Gackt!" Hyde heard a door shut, and he stopped running. "Gackt, I know you're in the bathroom, come out." He heard a mumbled "No!" and something sliding down the door. "Gackt, come out please." Gackt shouted "No!" again, which caused Hyde to go to the bathroom door. Grabbing the doorknob, and shaking it, Hyde asked, "Why did you kiss me?" Gackt didn't answer. Finally, Hyde let go of the doorknob and walked to his room. Several minutes later, Gackt entered. "I'm sorry," he said. "I thought you were going to kill me." Hyde looked at him. "I was."
The next day, Hyde approached Gackt and smiled. Gackt was sitting in a chair staring out the window. Gackt looked up and winced. "Look, I'm sorry. I just...You...I couldn't help it...You're just so...beautiful..." Gackt turned and stared out of the window again. Tetsu approached Hyde and tapped on his shoulder. "What's wrong with him? He's being very quiet." Hyde looked at him and nodded. Tetsu arched an eyebrow and said, "Okay." Hyde walked to his room singing. "Kisetsu wa iro kaete ihudo megurou tomo..." Gackt tried not to listen to Hyde's singing. That's what made him fall so hard. The first time he heard his voice, he was in love. He didn't know why, but Hyde's voice was like an angel's. When Gackt actually met Hyde, he had a wonderful personality, and everything about him was perfect. Hyde's looks were just a wonderful bonus. Gackt started singing "My Dear." "Sa~Aiwo saga shite mitegoran fukaimorino mukoue to, Zutto muwo korashitemo bokuwa sitsukerare nakatta kedo..." When he blinked, a single tear ran down his cheek.
Hyde was sitting on his bed thinking of lyrics for "Existence." "This sounds good...How does it sound aloud?"
"I'll wake up the moment you close your eyes
I'll make you watch documentary movies every single night
The more you try to forget
The more I'll be at your side
I am the vampire who lives in the darkness of your mind
You will not be able to sleep
So why don't you just stay awake...?"
"Hmm...sounds good. Who should say it? Wait a minute!" He stood up and ran out of his room. "I have a question for everybody! I want you to read this and tell me who should say this part." Gackt looked up. "I know somebody. Her name is Rie Eto. She has a great voice. I have her number." he grabbed a pencil out of his pocket and used a flier from the concert. "This is it. Just do what you want. Tell her you got it from me." Gackt went back to staring out the window. "Thank you Gackt." Hyde said as he pulled out his phone. After speaking with Rie, he hung up his phone. He sat down in a chair exhausted, leaned his head back, and closed his eyes.
Hyde opened his eyes and sat up. Looking around, he noticed it was dark and the bus wasn't moving. He realized he must have fallen asleep. But what if Gackt kissed him again? He'd never know unless he was awake. Hyde sighed. He covered his face with his hands and inhaled. "I can't go on doing this." He thought aloud. "I swear..." he exhaled. He stood up and looked around. He noticed Gackt was still at the same window, only sleeping. Hyde stared at him. "He looks so peaceful sleeping. How come I never noticed it before?" Hyde whispered to himself. He walked over to Gackt and sat down next to him. He wrapped his arm around Gackt's shoulders and lay his head down on him. "What is this scent I smell..." Hyde wondered. "It smells really sweet. Is that..." He moved his head a little so he could look at Gackt's face. He sighed. "...Gackt..."
Gackt opened his eyes and felt something on his shoulder. He looked over and saw Hyde lying there. "Hn? Is this...Am I dreaming...?" he wondered. He squeezed his eyes shut, opened them again, then blinked several times. "Then...this isn't a dream. Hyde is actually asleep on me. I can't...I don't want him to be mad at me..." Gackt leaned his head back, and closed his eyes.
Tetsu awoke to what he thought was a scream. He went into Ken's room and saw that Ken had his guitar in his hands. "What are you doing?" Tetsu asked. Ken looked up. "Oh, I'm making music for the song "Existence". Do you want to hear it? I have your part already." Ken held out a sheet of music. Tetsu grabbed it and looked at it. "Hmm...Let me get my guitar and we'll play it together. When we get Yukihiro, we can play it, and then we can show Hyde." Ken looked at his music. "Speaking of Hyde, where is he?" Tetsu looked up. "Probably sleeping, as usual." They both laughed. Tetsu left the room. "Should I wake Yukihiro?" He wondered. He walked into his room and grabbed his guitar. Walking back towards Ken's room, he looked over to his right. There he saw Hyde and Gackt sitting side by side. "What the..." he whispered. He walked over to where they were sitting and noticed they were sleeping. "Okay..." He walked back into Ken's room.

Ken was playing practice chords when Tetsu walked in. Tetsu had a weird look on his face when he walked in. "What's wrong?" Ken asked when he saw Tetsu's facial expression. "Nothing, I was just thinking." Tetsu grabbed his music, studied it, and set it down on the table. Grabbing his guitar, he asked, "So, I play my own thing, or do I follow you?" Ken looked up from his music. "Just play." He said. "Oh, okay." Tetsu said as he looked at the music. He started playing, when Ken jumped in. After five minutes, Ken told Tetsu to stop playing. Tetsu stopped and smiled. He looked at Ken and said, "That sounds really good!" Yukihiro walked in. "You guys totally woke me up...Where's my part?" Ken smiled and handed Yukihiro a sheet of music. "All right, I'll practice this and when we get to the studio, we can see how it sounds. Ken and Tetsu agreed, put away their instuments, and went their rooms to sleep.
Finally the tour was over. The next day, the bus pulled over in front of the recording studio. Hyde let out a huge sigh when he walked off of the bus. "Freedom!" he shouted. Gackt approached him from behind and hugged him. "Exactly what I was thinking!" He smiled. Hyde swerved around. "Woah! Didn't ex..." He looked up into the bus and saw Tetsu glaring at Gackt. Hyde's smiled faded. "Hey Gackt, why don't we go to the mall or something...?" Gackt turned a little and looked behind him. "Uh...why...?" Hyde smiled and said "Why not? It'll be fun!" Hyde grabbed Gackt's hand and started running. "Hyde, Hyde! Why are we running? What's the hurry?" Hyde stopped running and Gackt ran into him. "Sorry Hyde..." Gackt blushed. Hyde turned around and kissed Gackt passionately. As much as he liked it, Gackt pulled away. "What?? Hyde, what is up with you? Are you okay? You're acting like..." Hyde looked at the ground. "You." Gackt gasped. "Hyde..." Hyde didn't look up. "I know you were thinking that. I don't know what happened...It's all just so confusing..." He turned his head and scratched his neck. "Look, maybe I shouldn't have done that. Still wanna go to the mall?" He smiled, pointing at the nearest mall. Gackt looked at Hyde with a look of surprise. "The mall? You still want to go??" He shook his head in disbelief. "I mean, If you want to, I guess." Hyde's smile got bigger. Gackt started walking, then he turned around, smiled, and shouted "Race ya!" The two ran towards the mall.
When they arrived, Hyde exclaimed, "I don't have my wallet...Do you??" Gackt searched his pockets. "Um...no, I don't. I guess we can't buy anything today." He laughed. Hyde laughed and said, "Well this is a first!" Gackt stopped laughing and looked at Hyde. "Actually, it's a second for me." Hyde stopped laughing and looked shocked. "Are you serious?" Gackt started laughing again. "Come on, let's go look at stuff." They walked into the shopping mall, and looked around different stores. At an amime store, Hyde picked up an Inuyasha doll. Examining it, he looked at Gackt. "Doesn't really look like him, does it?" Gackt picked up a Kagome doll. "Not really. I bet we could better." He raised his eyebrows and laughed.
On the other side of the store, a girl recognized Hyde and Gackt. She pulled her friend away from the videos and said, "Oh my...Kimiko, do you see that?" She pointed at Hyde and Gackt. "Hn? Is that...? It is! Hyde and Gackt!" Gackt turned around at the sound of her voice. "What the?" Hyde dropped the doll. "Oh my...RUN!!" Gackt dropped the doll he was holding and started running. Murmers of "Hyde and Gackt?" came from several girls. Pretty soon there was a mob of girls chasing them. "Oh good God, what did we do this time??" Hyde shouted. Gackt looked at him. "That's the price of being famous!! Now keep running!" They ran out of the mall, and ran towards the recording studio. "We gotta lose them! Go that way!" Hyde shouted and pointed to his right. Gackt nodded as he yelled "Meet back at the recording studio!!" They ran in opposite directions, then the mob split in half.
Thirty minutes later, Gackt walked into the recording studio and sighed. "I lost them, finally."

I have noticed a typo!! It was my fault, because i was was typing at 3 in the morning!
It is for "My Dear."
This is what I put:
"Sa~Aiwo saga mitegoran fukaimorino mukoue to, Zutto muwo korashitemo bokuwa sitsukerare nakatta kedo..."
It's supposed to be:
"Sa~Aiwo saga shite mitegoran fukaimorino mukoue to, Zutto muwo korashitemo bokuwa sitsukerare nakatta kedo..."
At least i caught it! *tries to edit, but fails* Hoover Dam!
