Owen Mintarn has not been heard from in a while. he was active now he hasn't been on gaia in a while. Owen if you see this please post so we know your alive.

Owen is one of my friends on Gaia. He was pretty active on the site until the middle of June. No one has heard anything from him in almost a month.
He has not logged in since June 19 & we are concerned about our friend.

I just got a message from Owen. He had some RL stuff to take care of & moved. He hopes to be able to be active again soon.

If it weren't a sign of weakness normally reserved for beings of the human persuasion, I'd let a tear run down my cheek.
So here's the run down for those truly interested in my personal life.

Right around my birthday I received a call from my family notifying me that my grandma was in the hospital and I needed to get to Indiana ASAP. I arranged a plane ticket for as soon as I could, but alas I was a day late in saying goodbye. I decided to allow myself some extra time in Indiana for grieving/de-stressing time. While I was here however my mother ended up in the hospital. She was basically dead, she wasn't breathing (she has COPD) and a bacterial infection had found it's way into her bloodstream. She was on a ventilator and all that scary stuff for a while. Thanks to some really good doctors though she pulled out of it. The downside however is that she will be on oxygen for the rest of her life (she's only 52) and in the short time she wasn't breathing she received some minor brain damage. She is now confused most of the time and can't remember which medications she has taken throughout the day. I decided I needed to move back to be close, because a) her copd is fairly advanced and her health could turn at any time and b) I need to be here just in case. So I flew back to Florida packed everything and drove back to Indiana, my (once again) home. Oh and in the middle of all that (I don't feel like editing what I've already written) my girlfriend of the past 3 years broke up with me because she thinks Sex and the City is real or something and "relationships just make things complicated" She just wants meaningless sex. But somehow she also says she loves me and she thinks we are soulmates.
So... yeah, basically Karma owes me, big time.
