Chapter 1 Meeting Lester.
~The first day of school was nice with cool breezes frequenting through open windows.The leaves were just starting to become the colors that autumn was famous for.The classroom was pretty crowded since there were thirty students in it and they all crowded over three different people.These three people were Diachi, Alex, and Nami.
It was still homeroom and the three had not seen the worse of the attention.The teacher finally came and everyone moved to their seats.The three were finally allowed to breathe.
Alex merely continued looking out the window.He wondered when he could finally tell everyone about his preference.He was gay after all and all the attention from girls was really bugging him.He just felt no attraction to them.His best friend was the only person that ever understood him and they were really close until he had to move away.Their relationship would forever be in the closet and would not come out.He ran a hand through his black hair and sighed.
Nami kept her head down and sighed.She was the rare type of popular girl that didn't like the attention.Her blue eyes looked up bored and she moved her blonde hair out of her face.All these boys that liked her and all the girls that supposedly wanted to be her friends,she was tired of them all.She only felt attraction to girls for reasons her dark past had.None of the girls really caught her attention though.
Daichi looked over at Alex his face red.He wanted to be like Alex.Ever since he got his contacts his red hair and green eyes brought a lot attention to him and he wasn't used to it.Alex seemed unphased by all the attention he received.That's where Daichi's admiration for Alex appeared.But lately he has been wondering if it was more than admiration now.
A new student suddenly arrived.The teacher looked up and jumped up startled.Alex and Nami looked at the new student.Daichi noticed Alex's attention shift and he looked up. The teacher finally spoke."Class I'd like you to meet Lester."The whole class was in shock.
"That's a boy?!"they all shouted. It was true. Lester had the figure of a girl without the chest and his face was soft and gentle.Alex felt a throb in his heart and his eyes widened.He had not felt this way since Edward.Nami also felt the same throb.She wondered if it was just her imagination and shrugged it off.
"It's very nice to meet you all,"Lester said giggling at their confusion.He always liked how people reacted when people confused his gender though he had to admit it was annoying at times.
Suddenly,Revonda came into class.The teacher gave a disapproving look at her but before he could say anything she spoke."I'm sorry. I just found this bird that was injured and I couldn't leave it there."She really loved animals and it made perfect sense for her to be late for that.She opened her hands that were cupped around the bird and sighed.
Lester took out from his bag a little piece of bread and fed it to the bird.For an instance the face he had shown his true colors of the calm and gentle spirit he had.The teacher looked at them and said "Leave him by the window . I'll make a little nest for him and don't worry I won't let him escape."Doing so they then went to their seat.
Lester sat in between Alex and Nami. They both looked at him still feeling weird about what they felt earlier.Daichi sat behind Alex and sunk into his chair afraid that the new student would make more people crowd around the area. Revonda sat behind Nami.
Lester felt like he was being watched and saw that Alex and Nami were staring at him.He smiled and waved at them both.Realizing that they were staring they both looked dead ahead with their faces blushing slightly.Lester felt the weird beginning of a confusing love story.
