ok im black and i like watermelon and people just assume that i like it cuz im black. but the thing is my cousin dont like watermelon.(she crazy) but she doesnt. I just want to know u guys thoughts about black people and watermelon. biggrin

Troll? If not, then I would say liking watermelon is more about Southern culture, regardless of race, than anything. Plus, we could just quote Dave Chappelle: "People say there's something wrong with black people for liking fried chicken and watermelon. *****, if you don't like fried chicken and watermelon there's something wrong with you! That s**t is delicious."

I don't like watermelon nor fried foods but I am willing to bet it's because I am in California. Though I am no way a vegan or anything crazy like that. Also white people eat more watermelon and fried chicken than anyone. Fact: Those were Elvis fave foods. In fact that fat fool had tons of fried foods every day. Which is why he died how he died.

I'm not going to give up tasty nutritious watermelon just to defy a stereotype. Then white people would be controlling me.
