Well, now that we're finally allowed to talk about how to get certain breeds of dragons, let's open up a discussion. The question is:

Does anyone know how to get a Neglected Dragon?

And as an aid to our quest! 3nodding

Oh, and just so that everyone knows, the 2007 Dragons won't help too much because they were from back when it was possible to grow a dragon from an egg in a single day.

Also, some of these dragons have a lot of clicks and view because it was back when even after dragons were frozen or had matured, they could still gain views.

"One theory for how a Sick/Neglected dragon is created is by abandoning an egg too many times (I don't know how many times specifically). It'll turn a sickly colour."

"Anyways, I heard that to get a neglected dragon you have to give it softshell for a long period of time."

I've also heard a lot of people talk about that. Unfortunately, far too many people have proven it wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there was some sort of DC Lineage called the Eternal Autumn Lineage where they tossed around an Autumn egg for a whole season without it hatching but it never turned neglected.

Yes, I have seen it actually! blaugh In fact, as it says in my first post, that's where I got the list of all the neglected dragons. 3nodding I was just thinking that it'd be nice to get input from a different group of people as not everyone here goes to the DragCave forum. Maybe one of them has a neglected dragon or knows someone who does. That way, we'd gain valuable input that we could potentially add to the DC thread. sweatdrop

Lol. You have to leave an egg sit on an account attached to an IP that doesn't hit the site for close to a week. One in 8 or so will turn into a neglected in the last couple hours.

That's what I know about the circumstances of how Mahala was made, as well as a few others. razz I don't keep close tabs though. Lol, I'm actually one of the two artists that made the new sprites. XD.

*looks at the bottom of one of the Neglected dragons pages* eek How did I not notice that before?! Wow, I'm actually talking to the artist of an amazing (and elusive! xd ) DC dragon! Hahaha, great work on it by the way! It's one of the things that's made me so keen on getting a Neglected. The old sprites were nice but these ones are so much more appealing! 3nodding

can you still post the eggs as long as you don't sign into your account?

I think it actually has to receive no views in that time, but I dunno. Maybe it has more to do with the not logging in thing.
