Asami found herself yet again wandering away from the pridelands and out into the rogue lands. Last time she had made a wonderful friend here. A nice leopardess. Her thick brown tail swung behind her at an odd rhythm as she walked along the dusty ground. Her white fur was a tad dusty from the dirt she stirred up when she played. A cheerful smile spread on her maw as she walked around.
Her dark green eyes darted around and took in everything they saw. This was a nice place to live, but she wouldn't be here if it weren't for her mate. She smiled at the thought of the silver colored leopard. Takumi was his name and he was like a best friend to her until recently. The thought of him always made her smile grow bigger. Her head shook when she heard a twig snap. Now where exactly was she going?

Tsubame had wondered quite a distance from where she had met Achal, or maybe not since she had lost track of where she currently was. Normally she was quite aware of where she was, even if she did not know where she was going, because she knew that even accidentally wandering into a pride's could mean enslavement if not death. Regardless of how she sometimes acts Tsu loved life very much, as long as she didn't have to deal with too many others.
She started to walk cautiously with her eyes and ears trained at the area around her, not necessarily on the ground in front of her. Because she was so focused on her surroundings, she did not notice the hole until she stepped into it. Tsu yelp in pain as her front right paw was twisted, sending a sharp pain traveling up her leg from her paw. She immediately stopped and sitting on her haunches did her best to ease the pain in her paw.

Asami overheard the yelp of pain and looked around slowly in the direction it came from. She began to walk in the direction the voice came from. A huge smile was plastered across her face as she looked around the noticed a figure sitting down. Maybe this was the owner of the yelp, but why did she yelp? Asami continued towards the lioness, her eyes glanced down once in a while to make sure it was safe where she was putting her paws. Unlike the other female, Asami knew that she should watch her step in this dusty area.
As she got closer to the blue and brown lioness, Asami's pace slowed and came to a stop at a safe, nonthreatening distance away from the lioness. "Are you alright?" She asked, lowering down onto her haunches and smiling at the lioness. Her tail continued to sway at an odd rhythm. It matched her perfectly, since she was an odd little female. Of course, in her pride she was extremely strange and weak. Such a vicious pride she was in, but it was where her mate was. Again, her smile grew.

When a white and dun colored leopardess started towards Tsubame, she was understandably wary what with her having an injured paw and being in a unfamiliar territory. She tried to put her weight on it but it just flared in pain forcing her to stay where she was. With her right front paw tucked up against her body Tsu waited to see what the other female would do with a slightly distant look on her face, covering her real emotions of worry.
The leopardess stopped at safe distance and as far as Tsubame could tell, was completly honest in her question. Tsu was not sure how to respond, showing weakness would not be ideal but right then she had very little choice, "I have had better days." She replied cautiously.

Asami glanced down at the other female's paw and smiled softly. So she must have been the owner of the yelp. It seemed to connect perfectly in Asami's brain. Her smile remained as she looked from the other's paw to her face. "It looks that way," The leopardess said simply as she looked around to make sure no one from her pride would catch her conversing with an outsider.
Asami was worried, but acted as though nothing had happened. She was no healer and didn't know of any healers, but maybe she could point the lioness in the direction she needed to go. "Are you lost?"

Tsubame knew that the leopardess saw her injury but did not really comment on it, that alone made Tsu a little bit more trusting of this friendly female. She watched in silence as the white and dun colored leopardess looked around her, from that Tsu figured that she was near if not on the boundary of a pride. With her injury, Tsu was a little worried that there might be problems later on. "Not necessarily lost since I don't know where I am going but directions would not be declined." She said politely, with some warmth in her voice.
"Um, also which pride am I close to?" She asked just as politely but with some worry to her voice. Knowing that the answer could very well determine her fate.

Asami knew what the lioness meant. She loved to explore the lands and just wander randomly, but usually she knew her way back home. Her tail flicked randomly then laid against the ground, letting the tip of her tail gently smack against the dirt. She used her paw to point in the direction she had come from, "Back there is the pride you should keep away from." Asami then pointed the opposite way, but not exactly where the lioness had come from, "You should probably go that way... if you want to be safe, of course." It was a bit of a shock that Asami was acting so calm at the moment, but this was serious business.
Asami blinked at the female. The name of the pride? Her face twisted slightly as she tried to think of what her mate called it. "Bhanu...Ecc...something." She felt a bit embarrassed that she didn't know the exact name of the pride she was in. She would have to ask Takumi later...

Tsubame was grateful that the leopardess was kind enough to give her directions so before she headed off in the direction the nice female suggested she said, "Thank you for the directions. I would give you my name but I don't want to get you in trouble." Tsu knew that not all prides liked there members to associate with outsiders so she figured that by going with the 'don't ask, don't tell' policy hoping that this conversation would not get the nice leopardess in trouble.
As the other female struggled over the pride name Tsubame just shrugged, but even that move jostled her paw and she hissed in pain. Swallowing her pain she smiled, well sorta it was more like a grimace of pain but it was the thought that counted, "Oh well I don't really plan on sticking around, Thank you though." Hoping her perception of the leopardess was correct Tsubame turned around and started to go in the direction she had pointed out, giving the other female her back, something she would not normally do.

Asami watched as the lioness limped off. She would've liked to help, but at least this way the female may find someone that would help her out. She looked around for a second. Hopefully the king of the pride wasn't out. Without the lioness around, there was nothing to do. How dull of a day this would be. She sighed softly and turned back in the direction she came from, back to the pride she belonged to.
Maybe she would search for Takumi. He could tell her the name of the pride and keep her day from becoming too dull. Right? In the back of her mind, she thought about the lioness and hoped that she would find someone to help her out. Should she have tried to help out more? No... that would probably get her in trouble with one of the other pride members or the king and she didn't want that.
