I was very...Proud of the characters I created in a Roleplay. In WHY NOT?!.

Years in Chivalry:. 18, I've not been around for that long.
Nationality:. Part Japanese, part French, raised in America.
It‘s all in the book:. Lilith has grown the best life a child could live. A loving mother, a richer than rich father, a mulitiude of friends and three men waiting for the chance to woo her when she came of age. However, Lilith knew that it was all really fake. Save for the riches and loving mother, she knew her father was not all the time out on work. That her friends were really fearing of her. That the men just wanted the money. Having ran away from all of that, Lilith and her best friend Misery have been relocated to this godforsaken island due to a mixup.
Something not booked?:. Lilith has only two powers. Nengraphy, the power to "burn" words and symbols onto surfaces, and Psychometery. The power to see the past of someplace or someone through touch.

Unlike most of her familiy, Misery doesn't not fear the Selenes or the child she was put togther with. Making them instant friends. Now, Misery and Lilith are trapped due to a moment of weakness of another vampire.

But I do think that Pure has quite a powerful ability.

Quite honestly, they aren't intrtesting to me.
They seem rather cookie-cutter. A half-Japanese, half-French rich vampire girls with powers? Meh.
I am glad however, that you decided to match their ages to the pictures. A part of me burns to a crisp every time someone posts a twelve-year-old and tries to pass her off as twenty one.

Japanese vampires with superpowers are overly used, And I grow tired of reading their profiles. But I'm glad that you're proud of them! xd

I have to comment on something Breaddie pointed out.. Age. Age is a factor never really needed in RPs, something only important in a school RP or so and it only allows Agism, discrimination of the character by means of age.
And what the H*LL is what age a character looks like? What the fark is that or has got to do with anything? What moron invented "what age you look like"? You can be human, 18 years in age and look younger! I've been known to look younger than I am!
I don't have to be 48903386543 to look 16 still, or a vampire or an otherwise long living being.
That's simply ridiculous, you look like that picture you put up. Whether you think it looks 12, 14, 9999 billion zillion, or ageless, is up to the looker and they dont have to be told how young that anime person looks..

Age is essential to having a good character. On an RP that I am participating in, I found this. Her name is Faye (how original) and she is 21 years old.  Now, I don't know about you guys, but she looks 16 to 17 to me, if not even younger than that. On another, I found this; her name is Sasha, and she is also 21.  Does that look like a 21-year-old chest to you? The point is, people screw up the ages of their characters by putting in the age that they WANT, instead of putting in the age that their picture actually LOOKS. Am I right, people?

It's absolutely ridiculous if a person does such a thing as putting in a pic of a kid for a 21 year old human. What manner of an RP host would accept that Profile? Nobody in their right mind would let that slip past without a good reason. I'm talking about "what age your character looks like". Why would you look 13 if you're 21 anyway, you don't and that's that. They always want a specific age you look like where it is up to the looker what age the person appears. You'll say she/he looks 16, 17, but is a few hundred or thousand years old.. There's no specific rule that makes a person look that age. For "what age you look like" the best answers are ones such as Young Adult, Teenager, Child, but never anything specific. Start s**t, Breaddie? I'm allowed to make a point, like you no matter how many curse words you use and no matter how abusive you are. "calm yourself" to me shows the limit of your ability to see the state of mind of another person.

I made this thread because I was proud of what I had made and you're making a big deal of something that is completely off the main subject. CALM THE FECK DOWN. I'm not trying to start anything, I was stating my opinion on the subject of Age Looks and actual Age. Nobody's exactly on the main subject that is your characters.
You. Calm. Down. I'm clearly not the one with the anger management issue.
Edit:
Zfatal mentioned the word Hypocrite yesterday in an RP and I think it could very well apply here.
Only Kaye is the one being calm and smart about this, whatever I did.

I don't think I see what the problem is. My best guess is that people are getting confused or are around the age of 14 which I have found to be a very meanie-person age.. Or I suppose they have an issue and need to vent, and find whatever I did something good to try and pick up on even though it's not

First, Kumi mentions how she finds her own characters interesting.
Then myself, Kaye and Breadfish were in agreement that our tastes are different and we do not find the characters as interesting.
Breadfish expresses her intense dislike of people not matching ages and pictures.
I point out my own opinion on age and looks, in no way related to anybody else's post except by the general subject of age.
Zfatal comes in randomly and points out a laughable thing in the poll.
Kaye mentions that age can be very important which I agree with when given the right situation, at times it can be completely irrelevant I think. Kaye also seems to have thought that I didn't agree with Breadfish when she said that its problematic when people do not match ages and looks.
I never said anything about that except I find it weird for there to be a need to point out what age someone looks, specifically.
Breadfish agrees with Kaye, as do I, but she seems to think I don't or I didn't understand her for whatever reason.
Now Kumi's with Breadfish for whatever reason being that rude.

Well, obviously, what you should learn from this, N, is that the best approach is to say something completely unrelated to anything else, like I did. Do not reply to anyone's post, do not state your opinion, and most assuredly, do NOT communicate with other people.
