Appearence: Iopurl stands out easily in the crowd, although this is most often attributed to his head, which is in the shape of the beast he follows most closely. His eyes are a soft green color, the sharpest feature in his face. Below this lies his snout, which is only an inch longer than the average human nose, similiar in size to a small dog's snout. His ear's are those that a dog might possess, although through both ears he has various piercings and studs along the rim for decoration. His mouth is lined with sharp and curved fangs, although these are covered by his lips, which are firm against his face rather than flappy.
Iopurl is covered from head to foot in fur as would be expected, but around his neck he has a slight mane, where the fur is courser, thicker and longer. This mane descends slightly partway down his back. From just above his buttocks a tail extends, although the tail hangs down rather than up, but it can curl up slightly, as happens in the heat of battle, or other times when Iopurl is excited. When it comes to walking Iopurl can either walk flat footed like a human, or rise up onto the balls of his feet, using his heel as an extra joint to move faster, jump higher, etc. As would be expected of a beast all of Iopurl's fingers and toes end with claws that are kept to a sharpened point.
Although Iopurl has a disdain for clothes, society is unlivable in the nude. As much, Iopurl can often be seen either topless, or in a simple sleeveless cloth top. Over his bottom half he wears comfortable cloth pants, with a hole cut out for his tail. He wears nothing over his feet, as he benefits from having the hard black pads that most canines have covering their feet.
Personality: Iopurl is a freak in this world, although he readily accepts that. Despite the various prejudices that are inflicted upon him, such as slurs and treatment like an animal Iopurl remains proud and strong, so much so it becomes a fault. Iopurl can be easily roused by insulting him in some way that hurts his pride. He is not loud and outspoken though, carefully choosing his words when the occasion calls for it, although with friends he will frequently offer advice and opinions. In battle Iopurl unleashes his bestial side slightly, his words become more snarled, and he becomes more spoken and aggressive.
Weapons
[1]Claws and Fangs
Iopurl of course carries his natural weapons with him, his claws and teeth. These can easily tear through flesh, rend and slash any unprotected area's. However, the claws and teeth are only an inch long at their longest, which means slashing attacks do minimal extreme damage, unless crossing an artery, although piercing attacks can cause significant damage, as the small points delivered with alot of force will easily go through skin, like an arrow point attached to a very heavy arrow.
[1]Daggers
Iopurl will commonly fight with his daggers first, as it allows him protection from other weapons that people might be using, although in hand to hand he will resort to claws and fangs out of honor. These daggers are sharp, and once again cause minimal slashing damage, but still considerably more that his claws. These daggers are light enough to be tossed with little difficulty, but Iopurl has a set of small daggers that he would much prefer to throw if need be before his main weapons.
[1]Throwing Blades
Small four inch long blades around a smooth ring, shaped like a thin diamond, and sharpened on both ends, thrown from around the middle these are lightweight, and travel swiftly through the air. Iopurl can toss these with deadly speed and precision, allowing him to pick targets off from a distance, especially when hidden under cover. The problem with knives is they are almost silent traveling through the air, although Iopurl needs some sort of prediction when making a throw with these, else the blades might strike the target on the unsharpened sides, wasting a throw.

[1]Animal Senses
Iopurl has finer tuned senses than the regular human being. He can smell better, hear further and through a greater range, and his eyes can see very well in a dimly lit area. His fur also helps when it comes to touch in terms of the wind and quick movements from behind him, but only slightly.
[1]Canine Insight
Iopurl innately has a slight sense over someone's intentions in a situation. If someone is being false, lying, or give false pretensions, Iopurl would be the first in the group to know if anyone was going to. This comes from long forgotten ancestors that needed a keen sense of humans and other potential attacker's intentions through body language and tone, when language was still a mystery to them.

Although Iopurl occasionally finds cooked meats a delicacy and sometimes better than raw meat, he also has a stomach of steel, and can easily feast upon and available food source, including freshly killed meat, and even living meat. Iopurl has been known to take a bite out of an unwary opponent during battle.

Iopurl is a master of stealth, able to hide himself quite easily within an area, and approach his enemies silently. This comes from years of stalking and skulking done by animal ancestors. His fur will often help him blend in with natural settings, although wearing clothes can help mask him in the city. Iopurl has been known to end many fights before they even begin, simply through his mastery of stealth
[3]Unleash the Beast!
The blood of an animal flows through Iopurl, and during times of need, great stress or anger, Iopurl can unleash this animal. At this time Iopurl swells almost two and a half times in size, his snout becoming longer, and his muscle shifting causing him to become permanently on the balls of his feet. While this process takes time to go under, Iopurl is still capable of moving and fighting, however under this state Iopurl truly loses all of his human side, and becomes feral. This means he will attack anything and everything in sight in order to sate his blood lust. This can be dangerous for nearby allies, as his now longer claws and added power and size can be fatal with a single blow. After this effect wears off Iopurl is drained of most his energy, often becoming unconscious, or very weak and sick until he can rest and have a meal.
