Hello fellow Dorks! =)
Welcome to Dorks R Us second Invite Contest. I bet you're wondering what an invite contest is? An invite contest is when the users of the guild invite other users from Gaiaonline to Dorks R Us.
We're hoping that a contest like this will make the guild more active and be able to help advertise Dorks R Us! This way we can keep the guild fun and active for everyone.
Since this is a contest, there will be PRIZES!
First place will win: 25k
Second place will win: 10k
Third place will win: 5k
We hope you guys will join and have lots of fun!

It's very simple to participate in this contest. All you have to do is post the username of the person you would like for us to invite OR you can give the link to your friends to join (They just have to make sure they mention your username when they request to join the guild.)
Like all contests, there's a catch to this one!
Only members that I consider to be ACTIVE INVITES will count towards your chance of winning the Gold.
This contest will end on: August 30, 2010. So you guys have a bit over two months to participate and recruit members!
What's an avtive invite?
An active invite is basically a member that you have invited, but they are ACTIVE in the guild. I will not tell you what is considered to be active (that's for me to know and you to MAYBE find out wink ) Basically, the person you invite to the guild has to be active in the guild and if they do not meet the criteria of being active, they won't count as an "Active Invite."
Will I know if my invite is active?
Yes! I'll set up a special key so you'll know if your invites are being active or not.
Here's an example:
Kuka invites 10 users, but only 3 of them are considered to be active invites.
Bob invites 4 users, and all 4 of them are considered to be active invites.
Bob will win the contest, because he had more active users.

ALSO, MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN INVITED ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST! THE CONTEST IS FOR ALL GUILD MEMBERS.
One last IMPORTANT note: The prize will only be given out if we obtain 10 active users. Basically, if this contest yields less than 10 active members by the end of the time frame, then no prize will be given out to anyone. (SORRY!) But I just don't think it would be fair to the guild (or myself) if we start a LONG term contest like this and not obtain at least 10 active members.

Yay! Finally someone participating haha.
Nope you don't have to sign up. Just invite people and make sure they add your username to the join request. Or put usernames here and I can invite them. =)
