If she'd simply take on a set of D-corp kids, as part of the program... the housing is free, and so on... To which she gladly accepted, loving kids anyways. Arafel was chosen through connections with one of the D-corp staff, and since she herself is a twin, and already has twins, its hoped that she knows how to handle the set...
