This is a pen and paper D20 game that my best freind and i are creating, as such, i will place one small part of the world here for a role play.

Rough Timeline:

500 Bc; empire of Milleer formed by king Andvar, spanning the entire continent with the final annexation of the Mongol states.
300 Bc; Island of Amata an, Isle of Timille, Sagesune, and Nesh annexed
86 BC; Milleste rules the empire, backed by the Shessiar family.
87 Bc: Milleste gives isle Sagesune to the Mage schools.
60 Bc; Milleste abdicated in favor of her nephew Rienton, Immediate civil war fronted by her eldest son Merin.
55 Bc; Mages on Sagesune discover a “secret weapon” they offer to sell to either side.
40 Bc; Merin killed, his son Hermain took up the fight.
35 Bc; Rieton dies of complications, Norah succeeds him. Both Norah and Hermain approach mages for the weapon their fathers refused to use.
0 BC;Hermain wins the weapons secret Hermain releases weapon on Capitol City. A devastating plague ravages the city, people flee, speading plague wherever they went.
2 Bc; Plague spreads, 80 % fatality rate. Empire dissolves as both ruling families are hit with the plague. The plague is Names Hermain’s curse, or The Curse.
1 Ac; Continent held tightly in the grips of anarchy, anarchy and poverty. Mages split into factions, one to aid the people of Milleer, the other to rule it. Mongol states defect what remains of the empire.
5 Ac; war ends, Gods curse the head mages, destroying the isle of Sagesune. Wild magic created “riptide” World plunged into dark ages.
6 AC; Shessiar family desperately tries to hold the workld together.
1120 AC; Kingdoms SanSuin ruled by Merrick and Mong emerge, constant war between them, all knowledge of islands are lost.
1143 Ac; Second king of Sansuin crowned Elistal
1181 Ac; third king of SanSuin, Mandock sent out ships looking for the “lost isles” Amata rediscovered and reclaimed. End of the Dark ages.
1440 Ac; Amata defected to independence during Alick the 6th’s rule, peaceful defection
1450 Ac; War between Mong and Sansuin resulted in Latviah creating it’s own country.
1500 Ac. Forgotten island, formally tamill rediscovered along with Port Need, so named because of the very few inhabitants left.
1600 Ac; First mages since the 500-year wars are allowed to openly use their magic, and not to be killed on sight by declaration of Edamund the 3rd (at the behest of Moonsinger )
1721 Ac; As ships start exploring around Amata rumors of giant serpents abound, ships go missing around Riptide
1791 Ac; Queen Claudist rules Amata, in a constant state of Martial Law. She also wrote out new laws, fair but harsh. Influenced by Nightwolf Shessiar
1800 Ac; Gerrad the Black takes over part of the island of Amata, naming the part Solisice. Rebuilding the castle of a Milleer lord, whose soul and descendants he controls. Backed by Heather Nine.
1900 Ac Riptide myth proven fact as old serpent skin washed up on Amata.
1950 Ac; Sansuin reopens trade and exploration
2000 Ac Sansuin ruled by the 9 nobles, Amata ruled by Heather Nine, All rules deferring to the Shessiar family.

The Curse:

The Weaponn developed by the mages never completly left teh contient of Milleer. However over time it has mutated into a form that is suseptable to magic. Any of the Gods clerics can heal it. The incubation period is 12 hours, after that flu-like symptoms begin to appear along with a body wide rash. In teh next 12 hours teh rash forms bubbles of pus and blood, easily broken tehy are also internal.If not healed during this stage death is almost garenteed. The begining of the thrid stage is marked by Hydrophobia, or a fear of water. The skin cracks and blackens, pus and blood pour out of the body, and the fever is hot enough the victem's brain cooks before they can die of the blood loss.
The death rate is 80 %

What is Amata?

Amata is a continent in the realm of Earth, Empires and Heroes.
It is what we know as Australia.
It is broken up into two kingdoms, Amata, ruled by the Merchants Guild With Heather Nine and Polgara Odeiron at the head. . And Solisice, Gerrad the Black’s kingdom.
The technology is Victorian age, whilst the morals and mode of dress is Middle age, to renaissance, with the elements of the Victorian age mixed in. The people of Amata are not repressed, either sexually or morally. The age of consent is 13, average lifespan can be 80 + due to the Magic element.
No new deities please
No creating new lands
No creating new races (if you have an character from another world contact Shandrel)
No new religions added to the World.

How to deal with Dice rolls.




For a Skill check, roll 1-100 the lower you have, the better the roll.
For a Luck check roll 1-100 the higher you roll the better
For an follow up *attack* roll a 1-20
For a "target find" roll 1-20
The dm (me) does not have to reveal my rolls. They will be made with actual dice.
