Instead of reading books of business and learning law or medicine, he spends his time reading western novels and dreams of becoming a writer. Kyoya remembers his own suppressive childhood, so endulges in his sons whims hoping that he will one day come to his senses. Mikaro is a member of the host club and often plays the deep thinking philosopher, or the cool collected type. She also practices martial arts with her family in her family dojo, and her skills rival some of the nations' best. However, she hardly shows that she can kick someone's a**, unless they tick her off (you do so by hurting her friends, for one). In other fields, Sachiko loves to sing, but she doesn't have much skill for musical instruments. Appearance: Sachiko Haninozuka (sorry it's small)Likes: ~Sweets ~Anything cute or pretty ~Flowers ~Martial Arts ~Her stuffed dog, Inu-chan (or Mr. Doggy, however you want it) ~Music Dislikes: -Dark places -Scary stories -People who hurt her friends -Bugs -Heights…very tall heights

The Host Club is Now Open for Business. Hikari quickly ran down the hall. She had to make it to the third music room or the boss would surly be angry with her. She pass several student who gave her a weird looks. She was a hostess so she really didn't care what they thought.
She quickly entered the room and sat at her table. She looked around from what she saw no one was there. She sighed and stood back up. Someone had to put on the tea. She was also the maid of this club so it was her job.
((wow that sucked))

"You're late again, Hikari-chan," a level voice resonates from the side of the room. A long figure sits stretched in the plushy window sill, a thick paperback propped in his lap. His glasses shimmer in the bright sunlight, blocking his eyes from view. Even as he made his presence known his dark grey eyes never wavered from the page he was on.
Unlike most of the other hosts, Mikaro often ended classes early so spent his vast free time reading before the rest decided to show up. He wasn't much of a cook, so often left that to those more inclined to create with food. So until everyone appeared, he was content to sit in the warm daylight, his dark hair playing shadows on his face while delving into the storyline before him. A small smile played lazily on his lips.
(Heh, sorry for shortness even though it's the first, but it's really late and I'm sooo tired. I promise to post longer ones in the future. ^'^)

((ooc//its okay don't worry about it.)) Hikari set the tea pot she had down, and turned around. "I'm very sorry," she said bowing "I got held up in class again." She put on a sad puppy dog face her last class always held her late. She really didn't want to tell them she was taking a singing class though. She turned back around and finished the tea. 'I wonder what treat we should have today,' she thought to herself. She had an idea, and began the get the ingredients.
Her mind was else where as she cooked though. She was thinking about today's events, her teacher wanted her to go to a singing contest next month, but she really didn't like the idea. When the tea was done she brought it around to all the tables. 'I wonder if I should tell everyone,' she thought. She was still lost in her thought as she served tea. 'I would miss so many days of hosting though,' and soon she was arguing with herself.

"It's quite alright. It's not as if you are the only one, after all," Mikaro replied cooly, his eyes never leaving his book. He only had a few more minutes before their clients started showing up and he still had two more pages before the end of the chapter.
The novel was the most recently aquired from their library of which he was a frequent patron. He rather enjoyed his musings over these western writers and enjoyed challenging himself in diciphering the english and reading left to right, something that always caught him off guard. The books just looked odd backwards as they were, but their content were most appealing to him. He liked historical fictions most of all, especially stories of WWI and WWII.

Hikari smiled and finished setting out the tea. On her way back to finish making the cookies. "Whats this book about," she asked with her back turned. She was taking the baking sheets out of the oven careful not to burn herself. Like always she bumped on and winced. She really quickly recovered though.
She looked over at the doors of the 3rd music. She wondered what act she would put on today. She quickly walked over the the grand piano that was hidden away. She laid out some music not even caring what it was. She figured that would be the act for today. 'Thanks dad for making me an art major' Hikari thought with a smile.

Mikaro sat for a momment in silence, wondering how best to answer.
"It is about a soldier who is captured on the wrong side of German lines and is sent to a concentration camp as a POW. They try to torture him for information, but so far they have failed to gain anything." Then in a low murmur he adds," At least in the way of information."
With a sigh he closes the book, a small triangle of paper sticking out the top to mark his place. Gently he lays it in the sil, thinking to grab a cub of tea before all the strong brews were taken.
"Have you decided on a theme for today?" he asks casually before he blows the steam away and takes a sip from his cup. His eyes close for a blink, savouring the bitter sweet brew before he watches Hikari sift through her music.

"Of course," Hikari said with a smile. She looked over the music really quickly. "For some reason my guest have a real liking to a song that shares the same name as me," she said sitting down at the piano. She looked at the music and smiled. This was one of the first songs she had every played on her own. She lifted her hands up and started playing without even thinking.
She quickly snapped back out of her thoughts and stood back up. She smiled now wasn't the time to daydream. She walked back over to finish with the cookies. As she began to set them out as well. As she began to sit the cookies out she noticed the burn she had revived earlier. 'Not to bad' she thought no real worry.

Mikaro stood in silence enjoying the music that flowed from Hikari's fingers. He was never good at playing instruments, but he loved to listen to the classics. Even as she stopped her playing, he stayed where he was, his eyes held a glossy look as he remembered his mother's many piano recitals. Ever since he could remember, he had gone to them and often sat in their large parlor and wiled the hours away listening to his mother play. She truly was gifted.
And that made it all the more tragic.
Quickly, Mikaro blinked away a tear before it could fall and took a calming sip of tea. He thought he was over it already, but still his grief reared its ugly head at unexpected momments.

((I'm just going to start writing and see how that goes for me))
"Is something wrong," Hikari ask as she sat a plate of cookies down. Hikari being second in rank was also known as mom. Hikari was also very good at reading other people emotions. She began to set out more cookies in case he didn't want to talk about it. So tried to change the subject just in case. "Boss said something about a cosplay coming up." she said with her back turned. "I have no clue what it is yet thought."
She looked out the window again. It was a fairly nice day today. A breeze with a few clouds. She smiled at the thought of cloud watching with her father. He had been there most her life.7, but was very man now. Her mother was also very busy. Even though they asked if they wanted her to spend time with them she'd say no. 'They don't need to think I need them to hold my hand,' she though angrily. She hated when she felt like this. 'I'm no better then a most of the rich bastards her,' she thought going back to what she was doing.

"No, nothings wrong," he sighed with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Just tired I guess." With a shrug he finished his tea and set the cup down on the table.
"That's because Daddy is indecisive. He keeps changing his mind on what the theme will be," he responded as he went about the room and placed teapots with matching cups on each table. "But he better make up his mind before our clients start to get restless. You know how they like to raise a fuss."
He fell silent again as he finished his task and went to open the rest of the windows to let the golden sunlight in. The halflit room quickly blossomed as the china and well polished floors sparkled in the light. Even though the color schemes and furniture often changed, Mikaro felt a quiet fondness for the place, like a home away from home feeling. It made him all fuzzy inside, but he tried to ignore it and finish his chores before everyone arrived.

Hikari laughed "Well I guess Mommy will have a talk with Daddy then," she said sitting down at the piano again. She looked over the keys, and remembered all the times she had played for her parents. She loved when they praised her. She felt like the playing music was all she could do to make people happy.
"I wonder if we should do a Anime cosplay or maybe something more fancy this time," she wondering out loud. "What do you think Mikaro," she asked turning around. She looked at the cloak only a few minutes left until the guest arrived. She laced her fingers together and pushed them out. 'CRACK," was the noise they made proving that they popped. She then began to play the piano again.

"Hmm." Walking over to where he had previously sat, he retrieved his book and made his way over to the central greeting couch. With a sigh of content he relaxed into its plush cushions and laid his book in his lap unopened.
"How about an aquatic theme?" he said after a while. He envisioned the various members dressed like sparkling fish or handsome merfolk, all of which made him chuckle silently to himself. Mikaro caught himself as he wondered why he had thought of such a rediculous theme.
'She always loved the sea,' he thought as his face blended into its usual blank expression as Hikari filled the room with music again. He sat in silence looking out at nothing, his eyes unfocused and glazed over as he was caught in rememory.
