I think that's really interesting. On the down side, I think this means a lot of people at Earnhardt Ganassi are gonna get laid off which is never a nice thing to hear no matter what the job is.
Unless Aric Almirola takes over the 1 with Bass Pro Shops continuing sponsorship with maybe a #8 on the door...could be interesting for both teams.

Bass Pro shops has not even been the primary sponsor for all of Truex's races now. I think they are trying to get out of the sport. It depends on if EGI wants a one or two car team. There is still the 42. And hes in the Chase as of now.

I'm not sure, I think that MWR and EGI are about on the same level, so it's more of a side-step. Of course, it seems that MWR is getter better, while EGI overall seems to be in a slow, downward slide.

Things started rough for them, but he's built a team that is starting to be a factor.

From what I've heard, he's got quite an addictive personality and that's partly why Napa stuck with him through those rough years after DEI.

If ruettiman can run as well as he is why couldn't treux? He will be good, i don't know if he'll be great but it's not like he's leaving a top team to driving for petty enterprises like someone did a few years back.

Jeff Burton pretty much took the top spot for my favorite driver in 2006 and it's been like that since.
