Home Life :
Mother: Eva Chong-Nguyen, age 39, is a half-blood witch. Her mother was a muggleborn while her father was a pureblood. Eva's childhood was not that different from any normal people. She had a loving family, friends from both magical and non magical side of the world. She met up with Evelyn's father when she was in magical university. She became friends with him due to their friends trying to hook them up. They flirted a bit before Eva took the initiative and asked him out. After getting married and giving birth to 3 healthy babies, Eva became a full time doctor in the muggle world and a emergency-call-in Healer. She is the center of the family. Jason, the father, might be the head but she was the motherboard. She controlled everything and knows everything that goes on in the family. Even though she's very loving and kind, when something happens to her children and husband, she will get mad and she will get even.
Father: Jason Nyugen, age 43, and a pureblood wizard. He had already liked Eva but he was too shy, quiet to ask her out. But he flirted with her, knowing she would take the initiative. He likes to work in the background, letting others take the start, before coming from behind and finishing it better, faster, and easier than what others can. After getting married, he took on the responsibilities as the heir of his family. His parents died in a car accident in Europe, unable to get to a Healer in time. He moved back to Europe with his wife and son, at that time for the funeral. After a year in Europe, the family moved back to America for Evelyn's birth. He works in the Ministry of Magic in America before transferring to England's Ministry when his first son, Ivan, turned 9. He is the head of his family and he disciplines the children. Even though he might seem mean or sly at first, he really does love his family and friends. He also liked to prank people when he was younger. So now, he pranks his children in a way to keep them aware of what's around them.
Siblings:
Eldest Brother: Ivan Nguyen, age 19, is the oldest brother. He graduated from Drumstrang, forgoing the invitation to Hogwarts. He loved his little sister and little brother but he's more protective of his little sister than brother. When he was little, he used to be a bit of a troublesome boy. He would act all spoil and mean and rude to people. But after one time, where Evelyn nearly got into a car crash because he wasn't watching over her, he learned that life is very short and never staying still. He learned that he really did care for his family and stopped being the brat that he was. He decided to be independent and moved out of the family house to live in America for the time being. He visits the UK every summer, just to watch over his little sister. He watches over his little brother too but he's has a little sister complex. If it wasn't for the fact that he has a girlfriend, his parents might think he loved his sister. He wants to either be a Unspeakable, Potions Master, or even a Bomb expert in the muggle world
Second Brother: Timothy Nguyen, age 14, goes to Drumstrang. He wants to be just like this older brother. He admires his older brother but he also hates him as well. He admires him because Ivan is strong and independent. He hates him because Ivan ignores him for their sister, Evelyn. He envies Evelyn because she has a stronger bond with their brother than he does. Evelyn believes he has a brother complex and might be gay. Reality, Tim is bi and he admits to the brother complex. When he was younger, he even considered changing genders just to see if Ivan would start treating him the same way he treats Evelyn. He aspires to be a maker of brooms or a movie star. He doesn't hate his sister, much. He's jealous of her and hates her for that but he doesn't hate her for her person. He still loves her.
Home: Evelyn, Evey for short, lived in three places the most. She was raised in New York City until she was 7 when her parents took them back to the UK. Back in NYC, they lived in a single house, on the edge of the city. Back in the UK, Evey lived in the family house. The house was more in the country side, large fields, a pond, and horses. During the summer, if they are not in NYC, they are in China, living in her mother's family house. All three houses are single and very modern. The Nguyen believe that being modern is not bad as long as they don't forget the traditions.

Likes: Evelyn has many likes. She likes to read and write, like any other Ravenclaw. But she also likes to listen to music and play some as well. She likes to run and play some sports, for example tennis. She likes quiet, never much for loud noises. She likes tangerines and manga. She likes wearing jeans and long sleeve shirts. She likes sitting outside, looking at nothing and at everything.Dislikes: She does not like noise. She nearly hates it. She likes the quiet, no birds chirping, no bugs clicking, no children screaming, no parents talking, nothing. Stories that has no plot, she does not like them. She does not like to listen to music that make no sense with the lyrics. She has a 'fear' of bugs. She hates them but she's not scared of them. But she doesn't want to touch or be near them.
Ambition: To become the top healer of a magical hospital. That or become a field medic in the muggle world.

Strengths: She usually takes control over a situation when needed. She doesn't like chaos so she would clean and organize things until it's all clean and neat. Could be called OCD but for her, it's a hate of chaos and prefers things to be in their place. She is a quick learner and not afraid of blood.
Weaknesses: She is a perfectionist. She like things where they should be so much that she can get out of hand sometimes. She can too control to the point it feels like a boot camp. She does not allow some mistakes to be repeated. Her family is her main weakness, whatever they want, she will try her best to fulfill. Also the idea that she will be independent soon. She is so use to her family being there for her, behind her, she's afraid of what the world will be like without them there to help her.
Taking a closer look :
It was midnight, where the clock strikes twelve. Evelyn stared at her ceiling, recounting the many tiny enchanted stars on her ceiling. It was April 29, her birthday. She has waited for this day since she saw the one object she must possess. It was beautiful, exotic, and captivating. She had begged her mother to buy it for her but she said it was too dangerous for her. Her father said that a girl should not need one, that it was not fit for a girl child to have. Even her brother said she shouldn't have no, at least not then. She boycotted all meals for about a week before her mother caved in and promised her to buy the item for her next birthday. Today was the day, her day. She just can't wait until she open the present and see the item she lust for. But at the moment, she was too awake to sleep and wait for the morning.
Evelyn turned to her side on her large full size bed. She stared into the black eyes of her panda bear, Momo. She hugged the bear, trying to force herself to sleep. She can't have bags under her eyes. She liked her clear skin. She laid on the bed and closed her eyes. Her mother told her, when she was young, that if she closed her eyes and think of nothing, she will eventually fall asleep. But it never did worked for her. So instead, she followed what her big brother told her, to think up a story until she became so immerse with it that she will not know what is her thinking or what is a dream.
Through the night, Evelyn has been waking every few minutes. It wasn't until around 3 a.m. when she finally fell into a deep sleep. She was so tired and so weary that she slept though the morning and nearly into the afternoon if it wasn't for her big brother. Evelyn jolted awake when she heard her big brother, Ivan banding and screaming at her door. She quickly looked at the alarm clock by her head board and nearly screamed. It was already eleven. She's slept in late!!
"EVELYN!!! WAKE UP!!!" Ivan screamed into her room, while pounding away on her door. Evey ran around her room, putting on a clean shirt before opening her door. Ivan took one look at her and turned around. Evelyn blinked at the turn. Before he was able to turn fully, Evelyn saw her brother's face turned a bright red. "EV!! GO PUT ON SOME PANTS!!" Evey looked down and didn't see anything wrong. Sure, it was slightly cool but not cool enough to wear long pants. She was wearing short shorts that showed off her legs. She looked at her brother, confusingly before hugging him.
"Good afternoon to you too, Iv-gege*." Evelyn walked passed her big brother who froze and walked into the bathroom to freshen up. After taking about 10 minutes in the bathroom, she walked out and saw that her brother disappeared off somewhere. She shrugged her shoulder and rushed down the stairs, can't wait to open her presents. Today was her tenth birthday. She will be getting her own acceptance letter next year, making her one more step closer to going to Hogwarts. But for now, her presents await as well as a beautifully designed 6 inches dagger made just for potions.
