Looks: (base) Danae is of primarily greek ethnicity, but there is a significant mixing of races. Her skin is mediterranian-toned. The hair is short, straight with a slight curl to it at the end, black, and in a pixie cut. She has a very impish face with normal-size hazel eyes.

Lenny Halkias: Father - a fidgety, wirey man with a huge amount of energy. He works as a secretary to some high-up. Nobody in the family is quite clear, mainly because they don't care. They're just happy he has a job.
Penelope (Penny) Millbourne: Mother - shes a calm, sweet lady with a heart of gold... and a purse the weight of a rock. Shes mostly caucasion, and is tall with brown eyes, blonde hair, fair skin, and a very, very good right arm. You don't mess with her.
Todd and Octos Halkias: twin older brothers (both about 17)- they dote on Danae and often back her up during fights. they also patrol halls with her... just to make sure none of her 'Friends' are in trouble. Both are very big, with their greek ancestry very clear in their high-boned face and darker skin tone and hair.
When they are together, they are known as the "Terrible Twins," because they are known delinquents. when with Danae, they are known as the "Terrible Three"
Matthew Halkias: younger brother (about 9) a smart, quiet reader, he is very thin. He has dark hair and fair skin, taking after his mother. he is ambivalent to his other siblings, preferring to read his books. He requires alot of protection, being a bully magnet, and the ''Terrible Three" are only too happy to help their brother. However, he seems distinctly ungrateful and Danae is beginning to get annoyed...
Still, he feels left out, since his older siblings are so much older than he is.
Dilthera Halkias: Aunt (Father's younger sister)- Dilthera is a very sleepy sort of person. Shes sweet, but thats about it. Otherwise, she has the personality of cardboard... bland, sweetened nutritious cardboard. She works as a chef in a local greek restaruant with dimitrios.
Dimitrios Vestus: Uncle (Dilthera's Husband)- Dimitrios is a chef, like his wife, so their house is always full of good food and cooking smells. Hes on the rotund side and tends to be fairly energetic. He tends to spoil Danae and the twins when they are over. He doesn't know what to make of Matthew.
Kathy Halkias: Cousin (Dilthera and Dimitrios's daughter) (about 10)- in Danae's opinion, a goody-two-shoes tattling brat with a holier-than-thou attitude. Yet, even Danae will admit that if she needs a toy or situation fixed, this is the kid to turn to... because Kathy can lie like a pro.
Doc Halkias: second cousin (Father's side)- Matthew's main friend in the family. They are surprisingly close- both quiet readers. However, when together they do more active things wilingly like hike and fish. Other than matthew, the other family members find him fairly aloof.
Thera Halkias: Aunt (Father's youngest sister)- She works in law enforcement, and is just waiting for the oppurtunity to crack down on any unlawful behavior in her own family. she has her eyes set on her niece and nephews, and makes them thoroughly uncomfortable whenever she visits. She doesn't like Matthew's wimpyness, but prefers him and Kathy out of her nieces and nephews for their unrowdy behavior. SHe constantly uses comparisons to them to try and coax the terible three from their habits, but it only serves to brood some animosity. In general, she can kick your a** three ways to thursday.
