Description: Though Midus knew there was a storm approaching, instead of closing the ceilings of the fighting arenas, he has instead decided to keep them open to add an interesting aspect to the next round. Instead of a nice, warm sunny day, the fighters would instead be fighting in the harsh condition of ten mile per hour winds that will sometimes gust to thirty mph, heavy rain drops (though not disturbing enough to cause total distraction to sight; maybe 20% reduction), and the occasional thunderbolt lighting up the skies. To help make the arena more comfortable for the fighters, the floor has been turned into low cut grass to help keep traction. However, if the ground is dug up too much, mud and dirt will be added to the terrain. Despite the weather, the crowd of people have come to watch the fight, wielding umbrellas over their heads. Special Conditions: Fire is a bit weaker here since it'll be harder to start up one without the rain putting it out. And electricity will get a bigger boost in strength, though it will also short out much faster than if wielded normally by the fighters who possess it. Field Measurements:Ring: 70 yard diameter Ten Count Boundary: As soon as a fighter enters the bleachers, the count begins. The flying rule remains, as well.

In the previous fight, Esouna had been at an advantage with her small size, and therefore advanced, to the dismay of many people who gambled on the fight. The few who bet against Blue Steel/Valentine, however, now formed a tiny fan club along with a few others. Most of the audience remained neutral.
The current fight, however, decided that things had to be HARDER. The high winds forced Esouna into a wall as soon as she entered the arena. It wasn't pleasant, especially since blood loss from the last fight persisted somewhat, making her weaker. The fairy pushed against the wall with hands and feet, then promptly slid to the floor because of rain lubricating everything.
Cue unintelligible mumbling in her native language of Ft'olz, as Esouna struggled to stand. Doable, but not easy. She viewed the whole arena with her sensory wings, specifically looking for the opponent (whoever it was) to show up. Again, she hadn't read the matchups. ******** you and your squiggly dotty things, again.

Gable entered the ring with a smug look as the rain fell over his form. He stood again in the center of the ring and seemed to yell at a boom of thunder. He watched the area for his opponent, and found them shortly after. The hood of his jacket was pulled over most of his head but didn't hang over his eyes or face, it wasn't zipped at all which was kinda pointless.

There he is. Esouna gritted her teeth, and let off an intimidating roar.
Okay, it wasn't intimidating; small things make higher noises and Esouna was no exception. More or less, she sounded like a small child about to throw a temper tantrum. Not realizing this, she ran forward to catch up to her opponent--and promptly slipped on the wet grass. She hit the ground with an irritated groan. It didn't hurt because the rain made the dirt spongy, but that didn't make a good impression on the audience. A mass "boo" erupted from the crowd as the fairy regained her footing, a difficult task in wind and on a slippery floor.
Just like last time, a few betting people began to hand over/request money already.

Gable watched the pint-sized body slide across the field as she fell out of her run and exhibited a the facial expression of a curious puppy. Ooook He watched the fairy to see how fast she would stand. His only movement was the zipping of his black leather jacket, taking the zipper to his solarplex and brushing the hood from his head.

It took a few seconds, but she did in fact stand. At that point, she looked down at her body, noticing splashes of mud all over her. Her sensory wings confirmed this, due to sudden holes in her field of view. Dirt and grime tended to accumulate on those external organs, so patches of "I can't see" were familiar to Esouna.
The mud did give her and idea, though...since the clouds made this place darker, concealing herself could be easier. With this thought, she knelt down and uprooted a sprig of grass, then reached into the shallow hole to get a blob of mud. Yep, she was going to do this--she splashed herself with the dirt, creating an impromptu, partial-coverage brown camouflage. Not sophisticated, but it would do.
With this, Esouna stood up again, assisting herself with her flight wings, and then beckoned to her opponent with her right hand. Time to get this started. As a gust of air blew, Esouna leaned into the air to keep herself steady, and she pulled some of her hair out of her face.

Stretching and beginning his walk after the edging Gable watched his opponent and thought about what he could do in this battle. He was honestly bored with the whole fighting thing but he'd be damned if he was gonna quit. The first plan that popped into his mind would work surely thanks to his unnatural mechanics but he'd save that for a later date in time. His arms hung at his side and he paced toward his opponent in a normal walk. He stopped ten feet away. The squishing of the wet muddy ground under his feet ceased. "You finish the rest of the distance."

Esouna growled under her breath. Come on. The first move never worked, and she didn't feel like starting off her second match with a failure. Another gust of wind came from behind, and she had to step forward . Now leaning on her front, right, foot, the wind gave her an idea.
A few loose strands of hair fluttered in the strong breeze, angling in the direction of the wind...When they pointed forward, and Esouna felt air push against her back, she kicked into the hole she had just made, making a clod of grass and mud fly forward. Since ten feet separated the two fighters, he'd likely have time to do whatever he wanted to do in response. But, with that to distract her opponent, Esouna made a dash assisted by her flight wings, attempting to collide with the opponent's ankles. At least one of them, anyway. Due to the slipperiness of the ground, if she hit him, the man would likely lose his balance.

With the mud slapping onto his jacket Gable sighed and lifted his arms up into a ready position. As he two feet body came dashing towards his feet Gable quickly popped into his stance and kicked as if he was a soccer player kicking a ball sending his right foot towards the oncoming face of his opponent. No names again!? He was balanced and ready just incase but with her dashing, the rain and hair probably hurting vision, the wind propelling and his foot moving in a quick kick towards her, moving would be hard. If she did try to pull off a stop she'd probably slip on the wet ground. The kick sent by Gable was of course stronger due to his increased strength and could easily break her face if it connected.

A soccer player kicking a ball will pull their foot back to get momentum for the kick. It's required for enough force. Thus, Esouna would see it coming--at this range, the vision reductions wouldn't conceal a moving foot.
Instead of trying to dodge to the side on slippery footing, her flight wings accelerated to lift her off the ground, going up. The rule was ten seconds for elimination, but closing the remaining distance wouldn't take one. With increases altitude, she'd go flying above his leg, and crash into his pelvis with her 20+ pounds of swift-moving fairy, shoulder first. Since the kick would be timed so that Gable could actually hit her face, he likely would still have that foot in the air, and therefore be balancing on his other one. Cue falling down on the floor, because being pushed while on one foot doesn't go well.

Eh it was fine, no biggy. The charge would collide causing Gable to slide back a foot or so and fall backwards just as normal gravity would state. He did hate gravity and people could find him saying this quite often when his s**t fell off the table or the pen rolled down the slanted counters he usually sat at. As Esouna collided with him and he went back Gable would attempt to grab the shirt of the fairy, which would bring her into his fall. Though he was grounded after the hit, he'd use the fighters handbook lesson number three: Don't stay on the ground: ways to get up technique and utilize a pop-up motion to stand. If the fairy wasn't taken a hold of for whatever the reason the actions following would of course be different. Instead of doing a pop up Gable would stand out of a backwards roll.

Hahaha. No. She remebered the pain of having her wings ripped off last time, and she learned that getting within range could cause that to happen again. Even aggressive, brutal Esouna could learn (but technically a sea slug could too, so did that mean much?). At the first sign of his hands coming in to snatch her, the fairy rose up to evade. She was barely fast enough--one of the opponent's fingers would hook into a rip of her shirt, and the counterforces caused a shear before letting the finger slip out. Clothing damage.
Seeing the backwards roll with her sensory wings, the fairy attempted to continue her assault by bolting down at him--however, the force from the shear and the wind made her miss, going over him. Drat, the opening was gone. Wasting as little time as possible, she swerved her body and darted at the back of his head when he finished his roll.
It was doubtful he had eyes on the back of his head, so the man would be hard-pressed to dodge something he couldn't quite see. If Esouna got to him, she would hook her arms around his neck.
