Yugi slipped on the jacket of his school uniform and placed his back pack near his shoes by the door before walking back into the kitchen where his grandfather was reading the newspaper at the table. He smiled. He had always been a morning person. Well he was just generally always cheerfull. "Is Akiko up yet Grandpa?" he asked, glancing at the stairs. "Joey and Tea should be here soon." He said. It was a morning routine for them all to meet at the game shop and then walk to school together where they met Sam at the gate.
Grandpa Motou chuckled, noting how Yugi didnt concern himself to see if Atem was awake, just Akiko. "Im not sure..." He answered and heard the door bell ding.
Tea walked down the street to Yugi's game shop. She lived rather close and came by often and of course every morning. She opened the door and heard the little bell as she entered the shop. "Good morning!" She greeted cheerfully and slipped off her shoes before walking into the other room where she found Yugi and Mr. Motou. She smiled at Yugi. "Ready?"
Yugi turned when he heard the bell too and smiled back at Tea. He used to have the biggest crush on her. And though crushes never really die he was way more focoused on the hot exchange student living in his house now. Joey and the other guys always teased him about having her in the house, saying stupid perverted guy things. "We just have to wait for Akiko and Atem." he answered her.
Tea glanced up at the stairs. "Maybe we should go check on them? I'll see if Atem is ready!" She said quickly and cheerfully. She bounded up the stairs before anyone could stop her and went to Atems room. She contimplated on knocking but the possibility of catching him in the midst of changing changed her mind and she simply opened the door. "Good morning!"
Yugi opened his mouth and outstretched his arm to say maybe they shouldnt but it was no use, she was already up the stairs. He sighed slightly. It shouldnt bother him when she seemed to care so much about Atem but he couldnt help but feel a little hurt even though he was oblivious to how much she really uses him.
Sam rolled out of bed, quite litterally. With a loud thump she hit the floor, wrapped up in her bed sheets. She groaned and sat up, stretching her arms out in a yawn. It was increasingly harder and harder to get up this early for school. She was a night person, not morning. She dragged herself up started getting ready. After her uniform was on she tied her hair up with a bow. She wasnt very girly but the ribbon had belonged to her mother. She walked down the stairs and into the dinning room where her brothers were.
Mokuba looked up and smiled at his sister. "Mphorninmmg" He greeted with a mouth full of food.
Seto didnt even look up from the paper he was reading. He had been up for a few hours now and was enjoying his coffee while looking over some Kaiba Corp files. He has had even more work since he finished high school. But Kaiba Corp was more successfull then ever.
Sam sat down in her spot and started eating while Mokuba talked. This had become a plesant routine since she had returned from her boarding school. In fact she was happier now then she had ever been. She was back with her family and had friends.

A shaggy blonde boy came walking up to Yugi's door just as soon as Tea entered. The door wasn't even completely closed by the time he was at the doorway. He kept it from shutting however knocked on it to let his presence be known. He then followed up with a, "Yo! Good morning everyone!" he said cheerfully. His name was Joey and he was usually always in good spirits. He kicked his shoes off and entered in. "Hey Yug! How are you doing this morning?" he said. He was particularly happy today since it was the last day of school. Summer vacation was on its way, and he wasn't even worried about his poor grades at all. He looked around, "I saw Tea come in, where'd she go?" He looked around some more, "Now, I would expect Atem to be up, but I guess sleepy head is still in her room," he joked.
Akiko was still very much asleep by the time everyone was stirring. She had forgotten to set her alarm clock last night, not to mention she stayed up a little late playing one of her video games. She couldn't sleep last night so she tried to make herself tired by doing something. Well, she was certainly tired now. She layed comfortably in her bed with a smile. She'd been pretty happy here this whole school year. It was a little hard for her at first, she wasn't as outgoing when she first met everyone. But she really opened up to everyone, especially Yugi.
Atem was taking his time in his room. Today was the last day of school, he had to tell her how he felt. Even though he knew he would see her all during the summer, he had to do something today. He frowned when he heard people coming into the shop. He knew at least one of them had to be Joey. Sure that was his friend, but his friend was trying hard to get with the girl he liked as well. Atem couldn't get over that, why her? Joey was always going around flirting with girls- why did he have to flirt with his girl? Given, he didn't know, nobody knew. Well, Yugi knew. Atem could trust Yugi with just about anything. Afterall, the both of them were once one. He heard the door open and spun around from shick. What stood there was a girl, but not the one he held in his heart. He turned back around, he was in fact in the middle of changing. Atem put his shirt over his head and once on he said, "Morning, but I do wish you would kncok before entering." Though his voice held some irritation, he hid a lot of it. Tea was Yugi and Joey's friend. He would be her friend too, but she was obsessed over him. He did not return the same feelings, no, the girl who had his heart was none other then the sister to Seto Kaiba- Samiko Kaiba.
Joey smiled, "Come on, let's go get her. Come on Yug, there's a chick staying at your house- shouldn't that be your first priority?" he teased. Sure they were all good friends, but he liked teasing his friend a bit- made him blush. However, he didn't realize that Yugi actually had some feelings for her. He walked with him to her room and knocked. "Hey, why do girls take so long to get ready?" he said jokingly but got no response. "Is.... she even up yet? Well, guess we gotta go in then," he said smirking.

Yugi grinned as Joey came in as well. "Hey Joey!" he greeted his best friend. Joey was usually cheerfull but Yugi could tell he was even happier because today was the last day of school. At first Yugi didnt want the year to end. They all saw each other everyday and had a lot of fun. He wanted to make sure that continued durring summer. "Oh she went up to get Atem." He informed him. As Joey started teasing him again, yugi's face got red and he gave him a friendly punch in the shoulder. "I dont want to bother her, okay?" he said with a small chuckle. He was dying for her to hurry up so he could see her but he didnt want to seem weird going and bothering her in her room. Apparently Joey wasnt afraid one bit of that because he went right up the stairs and to her room. Yugi chased after him almost frantically. Luckily Joey had knocked. When Joey said they should go in and began opening the door Yugi looked uneasy and raised his hands in front of him, telling Joey that he thought it was a bad idea. He couldnt help but peek in though, a thought going through his mind that she might be changing. But no, he didnt see her. Then he looked over at the bed and realized she was still asleep! He looked at Joey, not knowing what exactly to do. He couldnt believe she wasnt awake yet. He walked in and over to the bed, staring at her for a moment as his face began to blush again. He leaned a bit down and raised a hand to shake her shoulder to wake her up. "Akiko-" he said her name to wake her.
Tea was very pleased, she would have to come wake him up more often. She hadnt really gotten to see him with his shirt off as often as she'd like. Of course she went swimming with yugi a bunch of times but he couldnt evem compare to Atem's body. She brought a hand up to her mouth and gasped in fake surprise. "I'm so sorry Atem! Yugi said you were ready so I just thought I would come greet you." She lied quickly. She stepped into his room. "Have you ever had a girl in youre room before?" She asked, trying to be flirty and sound innocent. Today was their last day of high school! It was an important day. She knew she wanted to start off the summer with a perfect boyfriend like Atem so she was going to make it happen today!
"So Seto..." Sam started once she was finished eating. They still had some time before the limo dropped her and mokuba off at their respective schools and then brought Seto to work and she needed to discuss something with him.
Seto glanced up from his paper, noticing the tone in her voice. She sounded almost nervous to speak to him about something. It made him want to run away or quickly change the subject. What could she be thinking? His gaze shifted to Mokuba who was already giving him puppy dog eyes. He groaned and set his paper down. "What do you two want? If its about getting a pet again the answer is no." He said firmly and crossed his arms.
"Actually Seto, ummm..." Sam knew he would say no but she just had to get him to agree! "You know Joey's family doesnt have a lot of money... and his grades arnt all that good."
"Yes I am fully aware of how much of a loser Wheeler is. I am also aware that he isnt my problem." He said and narrowed his eyes, knowing now they were asking for help for one of their idiot friends.
Sam bit her lip. Normally she would defend her friend, especially since she kind of liked him. Well she wasnt exactly sure what she felt because she had imediately taken a liking to Atem but after Joey kept flirting with her how could she not enjoy that? Plus she knew she didnt stand a chance with the super poppular and hot king of games so why not be with Joey? Anyway now she had to convince Seto to help Joey. "Joey really wants to go to college but he cant afford it. A school around here offers a really hard academic test and if you pass it youre automatically accepted to the school and get a full scholarship! So i was thinking since youre the smartest person we know, you could help him..." She said and gave him a sad look just like mokuba did. However Mokuba's look was perfected.
"No." Was Seto's simple answer. "You really think I would help that idiot? Besides it being impossible to teach him anything, I cant stand being around him. He would probably make me dumber before I could make him smarter!"
"But Seto-"
After a long and heated debate, Mokuba was the one to finally convince his brother to help Joey, in exchange for Sam and Mokuba to help him more at Kaiba Corp. Sam high fived her little brother and soon they were on their way out the door.

Akiko barely woke up. She smiled more while letting out a happy whimper. "Five more minutes?" she said still basically asleep. She buried her head more into the pillow and nuzzled a little.
Joey walked into her room after Yugi. Aw, how nice, Yugi tried to wake her up the nice way. He took hold of the bottom of her blanket and yelled out, "Request rejected!" And with that he yanked the covers completely off of her.
Akiko's eyes shot open when she heard Joey's yell. Suddenly, she felt her blankets be completely torn off of her. She jumped from the suddeness and shock. Why did he do that!? She was only in her underwear and tanktop! "JOEY GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM!!!!" she screamed at him throwing whatever stuff animal she slept with last night at him.
"Olala!!! LA PINK UNDERWEAR!!!" he teased her putting his his hand near his face as if laughing into it. He dodged her stuff animal and grabbed Yugi's hand. "THE BEAST IS AWAKE!!!" he joked and ran out of the room with his friend closing the door behind them. Joey couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably afterward.
What the hell just happened!? Why were they in her room to begin with? They obviously weren't there to sneak in since Joey gave himself away. She looked at her clock for a few seconds, trying to figure out the numbers. "s**t! I'm really late!" she said running around her room getting her clothes. They were trying to wake her up, understandable. But Joey didn't have to take her covers away from her! They saw her in her underwear! That's it! She's sleeping in her pj shorts for now on!
Atem looked over his shoulder at her when she made up an excuse. Well, it could have been the truth, he just tended to disbelieve most things she told him. He couldn't help it. He knew very well that she liked him and when he and Yugi were sharing a body, she would go through Yugi to get to him. And yet, she still kinda did it. He finished dressing and fixed his hair. He peeked over at her, flirting already? He smirked, "Sure, Akiko and Sam come up here all the time when we are all hanging out," he said walking out of his room and past her. He then looked over at Joey and Yugi. "What..... is going on?" he asked them in confusion. He shook his head, "Come on guys. Sam is going to be waiting for us!" He was getting a bit impatient, he wanted to see her as soon as possible.

Yugi's eyes widened and his face was completely red after Joey pulled the covers off of Akiko, revealing her in only her panties and a tanktop. He gulped and couldnt really look away from her cute butt to her nice legs just everything! Thankfully she was too busy throwing things at Joey to notice. He was glad they would be swimming a lot this summer. Lucky for Yugi, Joey pulled him out of the room with him. He didnt move an inch, looking completely frozen until he couldnt help but smile a little goofily. He tried to cover his face a bit and chuckled, looking at his best friend. "Joey! I cant believe you did that!" He then looked at Atem and Tea as they came out of his room. "Joey." Yugi answered him when he asked what was going on which pretty much explained it. He smiled when Atem mentioned Sam. Yugi was the only one who knew Atem liked her. Well other people may be able to tell but he was the only one the former pharaoh admitted this to. "We just have to wait for Akiko." He said.
Tea made a little irritated noise after he replied. How come they had been in his room before and not her? Tea pouted slightly. And why didnt he ever flirt back? She didnt get it. She walked out after him and rose an eyebrow at the two in the hallway. "So let her wait. I cant believe you guys are even friends with her, she's a Kaiba after all." She said rudely. She always said a lot of mean things about the other girls, especially Sam and Akiko since they seemed like a threat to her.
Mokuba was dropped off first at his school before the limo drove them over to Domino High School. Sam got out of the limo, bag over her shoulder, and looked around. None of her friends were there! She grumbled, being very impatient. "where are they?" She said and looked at her cell phone to check the time.
Seto got out of the limo and shut the door, leaning against it in his nice navy blue suit. He casually crossed his arms and let out an irritated sigh. "I supposed I can wait with you. Though I dont see why you even talk to those losers. Especially Wheeler." He said.
Sam smiled when Seto said he would wait with her, well at least until he insulted her friends again. "They would be your friends too if you were a little nicer." She commented.
"No thanks." He muttered.

Atem looked at Joey and sweatdropped. He could only image what happened. He best not ask. He looked over at Tea and glared a little. She always had an attitude when it came to Sam and Akiko- but moreso Sam. "We don't exclude her because of her last name or relations. Besides, she's a fantastic friend," he replied to her remarked with a smirk. He couldn't help but defend his friend, especially one as close to him as Sam.
"Hahaha, well she wasn't getting up," he said with a shrug. He caught his breath but laughed some more when Yugi said his name to describe what was going on. "Yea come on Tea, Sam is cool. Besides, we like Mokuba too and he's a Kaiba! It's just Seto who's the jerk!" he added ontop of Atem's reply.
Akiko got changed and ready as fast as she could. She then grabbed her bag and walked out her bedroom door. Everyone was in the hallway, perhaps waiting on her? She didn't know why her alarm didn't go off...... did she even set it? She looked at Joey and Yugi, she walked over to Yugi, keeping her eyes on him but gave a playful punch to Joey's side, "Good morning!" She blushed a little, "Sorry, my alarm never went off. I don't think I turned it on last night." She looked at the others, seeing Atem and Tea. She looked a little bit away from Tea. She kind of intimidated her. She wasn't very friendly to her, but she wasn't flat out mean to her. Akiko didn't know what her problem was. She wasn't sure if she had a thing for Yugi either- which also intimidated her more. But then again, Tea also flirted with Atem. Was she just naturally flirty?
"Ow! Hey!" Joey said with a chuckle. "Oh it wasn't that bad! Keep your pants on next time!" he said jokingly. "Well since we're all ready let's get to school! I wanna see Sam too you know!" he said excited to see her too.
Atem raised an eye brow at Joey. Why did Joey have to like her too? He rolled his eyes a bit.
Akiko gave a playful glare at Joey when he said to keep her pants on.

Yugi blushed as soon as Akiko came out. He scratched the back of his head nervously and looked away, avoiding eye contact. "Dont worry about it, we're not too late..." he said and started walking down the hall. He always got so damn shy around her especially after what just happened. He elbowed Joey playfully when he told Akiko to keep her pants on. Partially because Joey was being a goof and partially because Yugi was perfectly fine with her sleeping in his house without pants!
"Whatever." Was Tea's reply when they defended Sam. She just didnt like that girl. Then again she didnt like Akiko much either. Mostly because she wanted the guy's attention. She rolled her eyes and follwed the rest of them down the stairs and out of thegame shop afte rthey all gathered their things.
Sam looked at all the other students hanging out with their friends in front of the school and sighed.
"Youre so impatient." Seto said.
"And youre not?" Sam retorted.
Seto rolled his eyes. "They probably ditched you" he said, just picking on his little sister.
"You know, you dont have to wait here with me." She said irritably. It was basic sibling fighting.
Seto wouldnt leave her alone either way but still there was another reason. They both were very eager as they looked down the street waiting for them to arrive.

He peeked over at Akiko. Maybe if things don't go well with Sam he can try to go out with Akiko? It was worth a shot. "Hey Akiko, I gotta question for you. Would you ever consider going out with me?" he asked her point blank. Akiko shot a strange look at Joey. What did he just say? She shook her head in confusion. "Uh..... no? Haha, Joey you're like a brother to me, and that would be like incest....... and that's gross," she said jokingly though she felt very awkward. What bothered her even more was...... wasn't he interested in Sam? Why would he ask her that? She also didn't want to add that she was interested in someone else. She couldn't since he was right there next to her. "Aw come on! We get along just great though! You wouldn't even consider it a little bit," he pushed the idea. Now he was starting to agitate her a bit. She stopped and looked at him. "Name 5 things that you like about me without hesitation, go," she said putting her hand in his face. Not only was she agitated but now embarrassed. Yugi was right there and Joey was asking her this. "Uh......" he said hesitating, "you're cool?" he said naming one. "Forget it....." she said walking away from him. Not only was she embarrassed, but she was actually kinda mad at him now. Joey has been hounding girl after girl to date him, like they were nothing. She thought she was his friend, why would he use her like that? She looked at Yugi, looking for some type of comfort after that strange situation. Atem's eyes shot wide open when Joey said that to Akiko. What was he doing?! Wasn't he interested in Sam? He was completely set off guard by his actions. His first reaction was to be happy that he could have possibly gave up on Sam. But then he realized what type of possition that put Yugi in. Did he not know his feelings for her? Probably not. Probably only Atem knew Yugi's feelings. He face palmed a little as he listened to the conversation. Joey was his friend, but he was really doing some shady things recently. He looked over at Yugi, this couldn't be good.
They finally reached the school. The first thing he saw was Sam waiting at the gate. He walked faster then the group to meet up with her first. "Sorry we're late," he said then smiled, "how are you this morning?"

Yugi's eyes widened and his head snapped in Joey's direction when he asked Akiko out. He felt himself stop breathing for a second and since he wasnt paying attention to anything else he tripped. Luckily he caught himself and didnt fall on his face. "Wha-what? Joey-" He shut up. It really wasnt any of his business but it upset him. He didnt know Joey had any interest in Akiko. He had thought he liked sam. He wanted to mention Sam to avert Joey's attention but he didnt want to do that to Atem. He tried to laugh it off like they were just joking but it came out as a sad attempt.
Tea looked quite angry. Not that she liked Joey but why was Akiko getting the attention now? She saw that they were approaching Sam so she quickly made her move to get in on this little joke. "Haha you two should go out, and me and Atem can double date with you haha." She said giddily, grabbing onto his arm like a date as she said this.
Well Tea didnt make him feel any better either. Honestly he felt insecure all of a sudden. Sure Akiko said no, and thank god she did but why didnt he have the guts to ask her out? And no girl really ever flirted with him. He stayed kind of quiet, not even greeting Sam or Kaiba as they arrived at the school.
Sam smiled when they all got there, especially at Atem. "Its ok-"
"Its ok? You wouldnt stop complaining about it" Seto interupted, embarressing her.
Sam's face got a little red and she glared at her brother. "Shut up Seto!" She said and turned back to Atem just as Tea latched onto his arm. She left awkward all of a sudden and of course jealous. She imediately looked for Joey to destract her. She smiled when she saw him. "Good morning love!" She siad, flirting back and always calling him 'love' or 'babe' or something like that.
"So wheeler I hear you need my help. I'll do what I can but you know what they say, cant teach an old dog new tricks." He said with a smirk, imediately trying to get the blonds attention.

Joey peeked over at Yugi when he started to say his name. But he didn't say anything. Was she mad at him? He didn't think to much about it though. He turned to look back at Tea and chuckled a little. "Oh yea? You and Atem got something going on?" he teased a little.
Atem smiled when she smiled back at him. He glanced at Kaiba though, but really didn't pay any mind to him. Suddenly, he felt his arm being latched onto. "Yea..... sorry..... I don't think so," he said taking back his arm. Tea was flirting a lot more today then usual. However, his attention shot back to Sam when she called Joey 'love'. He couldn't help but growl a little at him.
"Why hello there sunshine!" he said grabbing her from behind and giving her a playful sqweeze. He looked up at Seto when he mentioned needing his help. "Huh? help with what?" he said dumbly. He let go of Sam and crossed his arms when Seto basically called him a 'dog'. "Kaiba!!!" He growled. He hated being called a dog and mutt by him. Why did he have to be so mean to him?
Atem's heart almost stopped beating when he watched Joey hug Sam from behind. He froze there in place - completely shocked. "Hey Sam!" he said getting her attention. "I wanna show you something. It's in my locker," he said walking a little past her to gesture her to come with him. "Come on, you'll like it," he said doing anything to get her away from Joey while he was distracted. He seemed to be acting anxious really, which was very unlike him- but he was still shaken up from Joey's actions and more so Sam's pet name she gave him. No, he couldn't lose her to Joey!
She glared back at Tea, not liking her comment. But she kept her mouth shut, it would make things worse if she said anything. "Hey Sam, yeah, it was my fault we were late. I over slept," she said smiling. However, she wasn't feeling in the mood to hang around with everyone, not after what Joey said to her. "I'll see you inside ok?" she said to Sam as she continued to walk. She looked over to see Yugi, really very quiet the whole way there. She smiled, "Hey," she said in a gentle voice, "so, I was playing that game last night, the one you let me try? And I got to this one part, can't kill the boss. I've seriously tried everything. He keeps killing me." She started to talk to him knowing it would make her feel better.

Seto smirked, glad to get a reaction out of his puppy. "Sam told me you needed me to help you study for your exam. Its an impossible task I know but I enjoy a challenge. Besides if it works I wont have to deal with your extream stupidity any longer." He said smuggly, thouroly(sp?) enjoying this. His eyes held amusment and challenge.
"Oh I should have figured it was because of you." Sam joked with Akiko and nodded when she said she would meet her inside. She heard Joey and smiled. Sam giggled, liking the attention when Joey hugged her from behind. She looked at him adoringly but still it didnt feel like she loved him or anything she just loved how he treated her. He did make her angry though when he treated so many girls the same way. However Seto stole the attention away with his comments. She rolled her eyes. How was this ever going to work with Seto helping Joey if they cant even get along for a few minutes? She turned her attention to Atem when she heard her name. She grinned when he said he had something to show her. "Really? What is it? Bye Seto! Come find me later Joey." She said and followed after Atem until she caught up and walked with him. Now that it was just the two of them she felt her face start to heat up and she nervously played with the ends of her hair from her ponytail. And of course she couldnt think straight to think of anything to say. She could talk so freely with Joey because she didnt like him like she liked Atem.
Tea looked very offended when Atem rejected her but she laughed, playing it off as a joke to cover her embarressment. Her face got red too when atem told Sam he had something to show her, but it was from anger and jealousy. "Um I'll be right back guys!" She said and started following Sam and Atem from a distance to spy on them.
Yugi looked up quickly when he heard Akiko. He was glad she didnt ask if anything was wrong because he wouldnt have known what to say. He just wanted to blurt out how he felt about her, how much he liked her and why but he was too afraid. Joey didnt even care about her, he just asked her out for the hell of it and it really upset him. Now that he thought about it, quite a few boys asked Akiko out over the school year. She was the foreign exchange student so of course everyone was interested in her. He was lucky she had turned them all down. he would have been so jealous. He really lucked out with getting to be her host family or else he was sure she wouldnt evem talk to him. He smiled at her. He couldnt help it, she always made him smile. "Oh yeah, its a good game thought right? Its fun but a bit challenging, thats why I like it! It took me a while to get past that level, there is a trick to it!" He started talking about all sorts of combos and stuff he had figured out.

Joey growled and picked his ear. "I dun need no help with my exam. Especially from you Kaiba!" he said looking irritated but it was actually kind of amusing. "And I'm not stupid Kaiba! I just don't do well on tests that's all!" he added to his argument. He was too concentrated on Seto to even notice Sam was gone.
Atem felt relieved that she came to follow him, even moreso that Joey didn't follow. Good, he had her to himself- for now. His statement earlier was indeed true, he had something to show her. But he didn't tell her that he was going to give it to her. He didn't notice Tea following them however. They reached his locker and he opened it. It was strange, he felt nervous with her there. Probably because he did like her so much, but he was never known to be the nervous type. He was always the confident one. But he couldn't control his heart when she was around. And it was even more worse now that he had to fight for her. But even though he was nervous, he was still pretty good at hiding it. "I knew you would really like this, I wanted to show you yesterday but we all ended up leaving before so," he said instead of saying 'Joey dragged you away from me before I could show you'. He reached in and showed her a very very rare duel monsters card that was in a hard cover case. "I won this in one of the tournaments in entered. It's the only one of it's kind," he said taking it out of his locker to show her better. "It's a very special card to me. That's why I want you to have it," he said trying not to blush. He remained cool and collected on the outside, but inside he was nervous as anything. He gestured for her to take it.
Akiko smiled when he was telling her about what to do. "Wait so that's how you do it?! The whole time I was trying to and it did that other move. Fuuuu! Now I want to go back and play it! I'll show that boss!" she said playfully but excited now that she knew what to do. They entered the class room and Akiko sat in the chair infront of Yugi's desk. This was Joey's desk, but she wanted to sit near him to talk to him more. She sat backwards so that they could still talk while facing each other. She folded her arms on his desk and layed her head on them, looking up at Yugi. "You want to play it with me when we get back home today? So maybe if I still can't get it you can help me?" she said turning a little pink. She had gotten used to his house being her second house basically. And they were like her family to her, well, not Yugi. Yugi was a lot more then family to her. But she was too scared to say something. After all, if he didn't return her feelings, living with them would be so awkward, maybe even unpleasant. She didn't want that. She also didn't want to ruin their friendship.

((Im going to be on durring the day mostly cause I babysit everyday then later I go out then next week I will be on vacation so i probably wont be on at all))
Seto rolled his eyes amused. "Haha yeah right im actually surprised you are even graduating." He certainly wasnt going to beg Joey to let him tutor him. "If you dont want my help I'll just let you fail your exam and stay a loser for the rest of your life." He said and stood up stright, adjusting his suit as if to flaunt how successfull he was.
Sam was getting increasingly curious as to what he was going to show her as they got to his locker. Of course her mind swarmed with lovely ideas that she knew really would never happen. She tilted her head slightly as he began talking, saying he knew she would like this. As he pulled out the case with the duel monster card in it, her eyes widened slightly with amazment. She was a duelist herself and knew how rare the card was. There was only one of these! So not even Seto could obtain it. For a girl who could get anything she wanted, this actually ment something. She looked from the card to him quickly when he said he wanted her to have it. "Wh-what? Really? For me? Why?" She said quickly, her face getting redder. he said it was special to him and he wanted her to have it? It made her feel special. She felt kind of bad if she took it but it would mean even more to her since it was from him. She took it and grinned. "Thank you Atem!" She said and gave him a quick hug.
Tea watched from around the corner as the two of them went to Atem's locker. She watched with narrow eyes. What were they doing? She didnt like this at all. Atem was supposed to like her! And spend time with her today! He saw Atem give her something and she felt her face get red from anger as Sam hugged him. She growled and clenched her hands into fists before trying to think of soemthing quickly. She just wanted to ruin their moment! She walked over quickly, looking worried. "Sam! Your brother and Joey are fighting again! You better go stop it before Kaiba hurts youre boyfriend." She said, trying to get sam away from Atem and push her more towards Joey. She didnt even know if Kaiba was still there.
Sam pulled away from the hug irritatedly as she heard her name, especially in the voice of the most annoying girl shes ever met. They had an instant rivalry once they met. Probably because tea was so flirty with Atem. But hearing that Joey and seto were fighting again made her even angrier. Not only did she just not want them to fight but they interupted her moment with Atem! To say the least she was pissed. "Theyre both idiots..." She muttered and looked apologetically at Atem. "I'll see you in class..." She said and then smiled. "Thanks for the card..." She said, feeling really awkward now in front of Tea and stuff. She placed it gently in her bag and gave a little wave before quickly starting towards the entrence.
Tea smirked. She eyed the card as Sam put it in her bag. She would have to snatch that later. Once Sam was gone she smiled at Atem. "So, shall we go to class?" She asked cheerfully.
There were a few other kids in the classroom but Yugi didnt notice, he kept his eyes and attention on Akiko as he sat at his desk and smiled shyly at her as she spoke. "Y-yeah deffinetly." He responded. They usually always hung out as a group so it was a real treat if they could spend time together, just the two of them. He wondered if she thought of him as just a friend, or brotherly, or maybe as more. He wanted so badly to just tell her right now. It was so tempting as she looked so innocently at him, resting mere inches in front of him on his desk. He just wanted to lean forward and capture her lips. He thought about it for a moment and leaned forward but soon relized what he was doing and shot back quickly, face red. "We should see what the others plan on doing today too, i think we were all going to hang out to celebrate, then we can play the game..." He said.
