Bio: Jean Grey-Summers was born the daughter of Dr. John Grey and Elaine Grey. Before joining the X-Men, she lived with her family in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, where Dr. Grey worked as a history professor at Bard College.

Jean is the only member of her immediate family with mutant abilities (her niece and nephew, Joey and Gailyn, are also revealed as mutants). Her powers first manifest at the age of ten, prematurely triggered when her best friend, Annie Richards, is hit by a car. As her friend lies dying, Jean instinctively links to her mind and senses what Annie feels when she dies; the trauma of experiencing her friend's death nearly kills Jean as well, but instead leaves her in a coma.

To rouse her out of her catatonic state, Jean's parents seek the expertise of specialists, of whom only Professor Charles Xavier is able to help. Xavier uses Jean to help locate mutants with his Cerebro Machine. During one fateful session on the astral plane Jean senses young Scott Summers in the orphanage and an aspect of her mind, manifesting in the form of a golden Phoenix raptor, reaches out to him. Xavier realizes that Jean's young mind cannot yet cope with her abilities, so he telepathically blocks her access to them, allowing her powers to evolve at a more natural pace. Jean develops her telekinetic powers at the age of 13. As a teenager, Jean leaves her parents to attend Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and, using the codename "Marvel Girl", becomes the first female X-Man, joining the team on its first mission against Magneto. With the X-Men, she battles the team's earliest and most enduring threats

Bio:
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created the Beast. Stan Lee writes in the Foreword to X-Men: The Ultimate Guide that he made Beast the most articulate, eloquent, and well-read of the X-Men to contrast with his brutish exterior. Further, the book opines that the Werner Roth-Roy Thomas team garnered admiration for their "appealing and sensitive characterizations of the original X-Men." Roth (under the alias Jay Gavin) had taken over for Kirby fully by issue #18 and Thomas was a new talent. Beast was given an individualized, colorful new costume with the rest of the X-Men by issue #39 in order to attract new readers. After Jim Steranko's tenure, which added "exciting art," Roth returned, working with Neal Adams who blended Kirby's style with "realism, idealized beauty, and epic grandeur," making the The X-Men (later named Uncanny X-Men) series one of the most popular super hero comics by the late 1960s.

He lived there with his mother Alexandra, father Nikolai, and sister, Illyana. Peter's superhuman powers manifested during his adolescence while saving his sister from a runaway tractor. Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde was born in Deerfield, Illinois to Carmen and Theresa Pryde. Of Jewish descent, her paternal grandfather, Samuel Prydeman, was held in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Kitty started to have headaches at age thirteen, headaches which signaled the emergence of her mutant powers. She was approached by both the X-Men's Charles Xavier and the Hellfire Club's White Queen, Emma Frost, both of whom hoped to recruit her for their respective causes. Kitty was unnerved by Frost, observing that the White Queen had looked at her as if she were "something good to eat." She got along better with Xavier and the three X-Men who escorted him to his meeting with her and her parents, becoming fast friends with Ororo Munroe. Ororo told Kitty who she really was and about the X-Men, which made the teenager even more enthusiastic about attending Xavier's school... (Wiki♥)

Bio: Abandoned at birth due to his burning red eyes, the child who would one day become Remy LeBeau was kidnapped from his hospital ward by members of the New Orleans Thieves' Guild who referred to the child as "le diable blanc" - the white devil. They believed he was the child that had been prophesied to unite the warring Guilds. Soon after, Remy was placed in the care of a gang of street thieves who raised the child and taught him the ways of thievery. Later he grew up and caught the interest of Professor X.

Bio: Sold into slavery in her native Afghanistan at a young age, Sooraya Qadir was liberated by Wolverine of the X-Men. Subsequently enrolled as a student at the Xavier Institute, Sooraya was originally placed in the Special Class to allow her time to acclimatize to her new environment. When the Class' instructor, Xorn, was manipulated into believing he was Magneto, Sooraya joined the X-Men in opposing him. Later, when the student body was organized into squads, Sooraya was placed with the rebellious Hellions. Seemingly out of place with her respect for tradition and strong moral code, Sooraya still did her best to work with her teammates. When the Hellions made a deal with the Kingmaker, Sooraya was reunited with her mother. In repayment, the Kingmaker instructed the Hellions to commit crimes for him but they ultimately refused, and Sooraya's mother was lost to her once more.

After the effects of "M-Day", Dust was one of the few students who didn't lose their powers. The depowered students and staff were sent home; however their bus was bombed by anti-mutant religious zealot Reverend William Stryker. Subsequently, Emma Frost had the surviving students engage in an all-in brawl, with those deemed to be the best performers assigned to a new team of trainee X-Men. Dust was among those students who made the grade.
Sooraya became a target of William Stryker's crusade against the Xavier Institute. Icarus gave her a note, which X-23 told Sooraya not to trust. When Icarus visited the church of William Stryker he was shown why Dust was his next target. Nimrod had a vision of an altered future in his memory banks which showed Dust killing all the Purifiers by turning into a sand storm and ripping the flesh from their bones. After entering the church of Reverend Stryker, she was shown being shot down, though it was revealed to be X-23 dressed in one of her burquas. When Stryker's team infiltrated the school, Dust reappeared, surprising Stryker and playing a key role in defeating his Purifiers.

Born Max Eisenhardt in Germany in late 1925 or 1926, Magneto and his family are persecuted for being Jewish, and are shot by the Nazis and buried in a mass grave. Eisenhardt manages to survive, only to be captured and sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where he eventually becomes a Sonderkommando. While in Auschwitz, Eisenhardt reunites with a Roma girl named Magda, with whom he had fallen in love and with whom he escapes the prison camp during the October 7th 1944 Sonderkommando revolt. At some point afterward he begins using the alias "Magnus". He and Magda marry several years later and a daughter, Anya, is born. After moving his family to the Soviet city of Vinnitsa, Magnus' daughter Anya is killed in a fire, while a mob of people prevents him from rescuing her. Enraged, the young Magneto's powers manifest uncontrollably, killing the mob and destroying a part of Vinnitsa. Magda is terrified and she flees, discovering months later she is pregnant again. Magda will give birth to the mutant twins Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. Shortly after Magda's disappearance, Magnus is hunted for the deaths in Vinnitsa, while attempting to search for his former wife, thus forcing him to pay a renowned forger, Georg Odekirk, to create the cover identity of "Erik Lehnsherr the Sinte gypsy" for him.

Power Mimicry - Through contact he has to keep contact for a few minutes to permanently copy a power other wise it is just temporary. The person his power is used on feels drained afterwards and is disoriented. If he was to hold on for any prolonged amount of time the drained feeling and disorientation can turn lethal and drain their life force putting them in a coma or worse. He has to concentrate to use it now though.

James was born into a rich family and at an early age was pretty pampered being given whatever he wanted. He was given piano lessons when he was old enough to understand things because his mother loved to play. His father was gone on business most of the time and the rare times he was home he didn't spend a lot of time with James. His mother would make excuses for his father when he wasn't there but after awhile she just stopped. He was put in the best school when he was old enough to go and things were normal till he turned 14. It was at that time that he and his girlfriend at the time tried to get a little closer and more physical only problem was that was also when his power manifested.

Well not know what was wrong with her he held onto her a lot longer than he should have and found out she was a mutant and because he held on for so long permanently copied her power. Well she was shipped to the hospital and things were normal for a while. That was when weird things started happening things would levitate whenever he was emotional and he could have sworn a couple of times he made things move just by thinking it. When he learned what he was he got his parents to send him to the Xavier institute and he has lived there since.

Powers: She can control ink pigments. She can take a puddle of paint and turn it into a picture by touching it. She can also pull it off the surface and make it "come to life". She then controls the creation with tendrils of ink connected to her fingertips, like puppet strings. She can also slightly talk with pictures, if she holds your hand, the images will appear in your imagination.

Bio: Kaia grew up in Maine for most of her life, after her parents came to America from Ukraine. Her parents owned a shop on the Peir, and she used to idle her days away sketching and painting coastal scenes for tourists to buy from her parent's shop. One day, as a small child, she was skating on a pond when the ice broke, and she wasn't found till much later. Doctors were able to save her, but not her voice. She resorted to scribbling on a small notepad she carried around. She had an older brother who looked after her after that. He would follow her everywhere, and seemed to know what she wanted to say even though she couldn't talk. But one day, he discovered he was a mutant, and their parent's grew terrified of him and his power. Tossing him out, Kaia was raised and considered their own child. So when she discovered that she also was a mutant, she grew scared at what her parents would do to her. She left when she was fourteen, and left behind a note to her parents. She wandered the East coast, until she heard of a school for gifted people like her, and began looking for it.
Extra: She has a tattoo on her back, that she can control across her skin, like writing words on her hand for people to read so she can talk to them. She can also pull the ink out of her skin as a last resort, but it causes her extreme pain to do so. Water is a slight weakness, as it dilutes the ink and makes it less stable for her to control. Also, a place with no colors would make it impossible for her to work, except for her tattoo.

Bio: Erik is a french native who lost his parents at the age of eight.Eriks parents died in an explosion he cause,when he absorbed to much energy.Erik lived in an orphanage untill he was 13 years old.Erik left to find a way to control his powers.Erik is extremely intelligent,speaks several languages,and loves to solve issues.Eriks high intellect makes it hard for any one with telepathy to enter or control his mind.Erik earned his nickname from a kid he met in the orphanage.Erik has never truly got over the feeling of being alone.

Extra: The right side of his body controls fire and the left side controls ice but when he flies using his powers which ever element he is flying with covers his entire body

She was a mutant and a pretty wicked one at that, shes a very loving and out-going happy go lucky kind of girl that all the town just adored, the perfect little angel. Even a straight A student knowing serval different languages.

She did the best to hide to the people who she truely was but something happened in her little french town and now everyone knows. Her father and mother didn't want anything bad to happen to her so they sent her to America to the X-men for her own protection. She is a bit of a rookie but shes very talented and very promising.

His parents kicked him out the next day. He wandered the streets for a few months during which time he learned the full extent of his powers. At the age of 17 he joined the brotherhood.
Extra: When he morphs his body into certain objects like a gun or such he can actually shoot projectiles that his body generates

He struggled to survive until he decided to start using his powers to give himself an edge up on life...soon after he was found and recruited by the Brotherhood.

Bio: Anna was always outrageous and in constant trouble with the law in the cities of Peru. She first discovered her powers during a terrorist attack when out of fear she pushed a car into one of them. She was shot by an on coming missile by the second terrorist and came out of it without a scratch. She was soon interrogated and experimented on by her own government finding her strengths and weaknesses. She soon escaped fleeing to the U.S where she began her new life, even joined a band, but soon she found her powers to be much more fun when used for her own purposes. She soon joined the brotherhood in hopes of having even more fun.

Powers: He can "enter" someone, and control them as themselves. The only sign that he is there is that around the person's eyes, there is a small ring of green. He cannot stay for long, depending on the mental strength and will power of who he is inhabiting. Right before he joins into them, he turns a pale shadow of himself, and seems to surround the person before dissipating.

Bio: He grew up in Maine, like his little sister Kaia. He was about 16 when he found his power, after he got into an argument with his math teacher and tried to prove them wrong about a test score. In the argument, he pointed at the computer and grabbed the front of his teachers shirt, and he watched his hands turn into smake and then he was looking into the classroom as his teacher. Turning to the computer, he put in what he thought his grade should be, before his teacher pushed him back out. His parents were terrified of the fact that he could do this, and sent him away. He had found the school, and spent a little time there, honing his skills and control of his power. He decided to go out, and see what the Brotherhood was up to. He hasn't sent anything back to the school, so they don't know if he's turned or just doesn't have anything to report. He went home to see Kaia again, but found that his parents had sold the shop, and their house was burned down. He doesn't know that his sister is a mutant.
Extra: He feels bad whenever he takes someones free will away, so sometimes he'll talk to them in their head while he does whatever he needs to. Also, when he pulls out, he'll have an emotional remnant from the last person, so if they were depressed before he took them over, afterwards, he'll be depressed too for a little while.

Shes a very quiet girl usally not wanting to say much but when she does get going, ew does she get going.

Shes a hero thats on that fine line of being wicked, she loves to mess with people's heads sometimes and can be brutely honest, seeming to be insenstive to peoples' feelings. She does care all and all other wise she would've joined the Brotherhood a long time ago, not that they don't want her. She doesn't think shes good enough to to be an X-man so, she stays in her happy little book store curled up with a book on cats.

It was a cool, dark morning, and the sun had just barely started to rise letting a small light creep into the room. It was still early, even for the institute, but Jean just couldn't bring herself to go back to sleep. Her eyes were wide awake and staring at the ceiling. She lifted herself slowly from her bed, red hair flowing and green eyes looking at the small light with a light smile on her lips. She stretched, moving her legs to the side of the bed where she stood up.

She changed, a bit sluggishly as she walked to her mirror brushing her hair. She had awaken a bit earlier than the others usually do, since she was having more trouble sleeping than usual. She opened the door, quietly walking down the hall as not to wake up the other students. She walked downstairs, finding the room she found most comfortable with the warm fire place and all the couches. She layed on the couch, closing her eyes- she wasn't tired, just sort of relaxing where she was.

Magneto sat there in his plastic room he had been in there for to long and he was about to make his escape. Magneto sat there waiting for his lunch to come it was about time and he knew it."Soon you guys will know feel the wrath of true mutants" Magneto said as he watched the guy walking down the plastic hall bringing him his food. Magneto watched as the guy opened the door and walked over to him Magneto took the food and began to eat he was going to wait till the guy was walking back to the main house!

The war is still coming and I tend to fight it

James felt her enter his mind briefly before asking the question. He didn't really mind if she read his surface thoughts just as long as she didn't go too deep. Deep down was where he kept his secrets among them the fact that he cared for her in a more than friendly way. "I am always up early Jean but don't worry I feel fine and completely rested." He watched her as she sat up taking another bite of his apple and crossing his legs resting his arms on his legs.

"I haven't been able to sleep much for years so I really don't mind anymore after awhile you just get used to it." It was true he had gotten completely used to the amount of sleep he got he kind of had to though. "So why are you up so early? Nightmare?" God he hated those every time he got one his room under went a redecoration and his sleep was cut off. "Anyway how are you feeling today?"

Wolverine was ridding his bike down the road as the sharp mist hit his face which didn't bother him any more he had grown custom to it. He was thinking of what was going to go down when he got there he couldn't stand that cyclops so he cut his car's tires. Wolverine wasn't scared Theo he new he could take that boy down!"Wait till I get there boy" Wolverine said to him self he was a little ways away from the mansion!
